  1. This was my first time trying a hotpot and it didn’t disappoint! The food was amazing! The waiters are so nice and helpful if you need help or recommendations when ordering your meal. The sauces and sides bar has an extra price but it’s totally worth it, best seaweed I’ve ever had! The caviar filled fish balls are delicious, be careful to not over cook them as they can get very rubbery quick.

My only comment would be that the bathroom doors are super heavy, and as I was carrying a child it was very hard to get in and get out. But other than that I love Haidilao SD.

Decided to celebrate Father’s Day here and made reservation online two days before for 2:45pm. The day of, got a text from the hostess while we were a few steps from the restaurant, arrived and checked in. Five minutes later, got seated and our waiter, Eugene, came by and brought us aprons. After we placed our order on the Ziosk, Eugene double checked our items.

    Ordered: see pic of receipt
Soup broth were flavorful. My most favorite item that we ordered was the Lava Shrimp Balls, crunchy on the outside and cheesy on the inside. Yummy!

    Note:
Plenty of knickknacks to enjoy from the Sauce Bar (see pics).

    Disliked:
The fact that our waiter added water to our soup broth without checking with us first. Best to communicate to your customers before proceeding and give them options (soup broth or water) before diluting their flavorful soup and made it blah.

Overall experience, we enjoyed our dinner and look forward to coming back here again.

  3. We have been here twice now so we do enjoy it. Tried the tomato soup base which is surprisingly not overpowering, subtle and sweet. Tried the tom yum and spicy pork bone broth for the spice. The quality of the shrimp, austrailan lamb shoulder and pork are great. You can get the shrimp peeled.

The spice bar is perfect to create your dipping sauce [mushroom sauce is awesome]. My mix is: Celery, green onions, minced garlic, crushed peanuts, then dolled up with the textured mushroom sauce, soya and a lil chill oil.

The kids love the moving around robots, dancing noodles (check if they are around to order) and the ice cream.

  4. I wish I had taken pictures of the food, but i was too focused on eating. This place was so good. The meat melted in your mouth, the service was phenomenal, the flavors were to die for.

It is a little bit on the pricey side for hot pot, but it’s so worth it. You have to try it at least once.

Also, our server, Peter, was 10/10. I wish all restaurant servers were like him.

also, it was my wife’s birthday when we went so they gave us a little special happy birthday

  5. The waiter, Kevin I believed, made our night memorable. He handled everything with care, and kept asking we were doing great.👍👍

Food is fresh, side dishes and dipping sauces are great. I love their ice 🍨 cream setting.

That night, after 9pm, has a 31% off promotion, which I have never seen. It is a steal.

If I come back to town, this place is definitely a must go.
