I cannot recommend this place enough! I have been trying to find a good car wash, researched around and found Jimmy Suds. I gave them a call yesterday asking about their different offerings and let Jimmy know I would be traveling from over 20 minutes away to check them out! Jimmy was so wonderful and assured me that someone from his team would be able to show me the ropes. The staff are so amazing and attentive, they provided interior/glass/and scented solution to clean your car (post going through car wash), as well as clean towels and a free vacuum. Worst car wash experience of my life. I paid $23 for platinum, and I had stuff still all over my car. I got back into the long line to go through again, and I waited to go through twice just to have stuff still all over my car. One side of the vacuums was barely working. I moved to the other side and the vacuum was broke. No Towels. Worst $23 I’ve spent in awhile. He helped me fast and had me go through the carwash immediately right after i said hi to him. I was surprised how quick he sent me. I kind of wanted him to talk more of the carwashes deal/promote it and how they work since it’s brand spanking new; it was built in a fresh lot new. It was busy when I went in but the many cars went in the wash so quickly. My car was so shiney and loved that it actually shined my wheels. The free vacuums are nice! One vac on each side and each vac had a different nozzle depending on how you want to vacuum, crevices vs flat surface. There are free clean towels to dry off any left over water from the auto wash too. I do like my regular go-to car wash since it has this car washes features plus interior cleaner, glass cleaner, and floor mat wash all for free. I gotta say, I wasn’t very impressed. I paid $185 and tipped the detail so they would be thorough. The gages still had water circles, windows were dirty when I rolled them up, dirt still in the back seats, and the windshield still had adhesive with hair and dirt stuck on. Also, I found a plastic cover taken off the back seat laying on the ground behind the vehicle when they called me to pickup. It would definitely be cheaper and probably take the same amount of time to do this myself.
I chose this place because it is advertised as ‘brush-free’. Well, the employees there will hose the car down, then they take a broom and scrub the dirt off prior to putting it through the wash. 🙄 Kinda defeats THAT purpose.
Also, the inside was not wiped down very well. I understand that it wasn’t a detailing that I purchased, but for $36.99, I was expecting more. They didn’t bother vacuuming the back either. I’ll attach some pictures.
Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
It’s been a while since I have been to octopus, great job, thorough washing and cleaning I did get the ultimate and I’m thinking about getting the monthly subscription. However, that only includes eight times a month but I prefer octopus car wash over all others.
This is the second time I’ve been dissatisfied with my services. It’s really disappointing when you get your car back from a professional and think I could have done this better myself.
Even for a basic vacuum this is unacceptable. They assured me that at least the dash and front area would be clean and free of pet hair, just not the back(understandable). This is what I got back. Did not vacuum the front at all and the same smudges are there. I just paid for a glorified drive thru car wash.
I paid for the “Ultimate” package but I’m pretty sure they only did the basic work. What a rip-off! They weren’t even busy. I cleaned more of the car, wiping down the windows and doors. A simple wet rag and dry towel (isn’t that what they have…?) would’ve worked but instead I did most of the “Ultimate” clean at home in my driveway. Not sure what they cleaned-joke! Don’t spend your money here if you want an actual clean car. You’re better off doing it yourself than wasting your time at this place.
