2 months agoI take PUNISHER there all time to wash my car. Excellent place. Been going there for many many years.2 months agoThis is my go to car wash, the grounds are always clean and the machines are kept in good working order. I had an issue only once and the owner was prompt and professional is resolving a minor malfunction of one of the machines.5 years agoVery clean and everything worked. One has the option of either doing it oneself, or running one’s car through the full service wash. They have a self serve carpet cleaner which is cool. This seems a great place to take one’s car. Everything one needs to clean one’s vehicle is there.5 years agoSoft touch is terrible. I wash my car ALOT (excessively obsessed) and would rather use the one at Sheetz or Getgo especially now that they costs less. They recently raised their prices due to what time of year it is and made “changes” to the wash… for worse, not for the better IMO. And although it says they use the rainbow soap, they don’t.a year agoThe car wash is very clean and it works well but don’t buy anything from the machine in the front of the building. Half the time the machine won’t dispense what you need and it keeps your money. At least for me. It’s really hard to get a refund. I’ve called the number to ask for a refund and I sent tax, but never really heard back from anybody. Please bring exact change because the machine doesn’t give you change at least for me. It’s really hard to get a refund. I’ve called the number to ask for a refund and I sent tax, but never really heard back from anybody. 3 months agoDidn’t really dry vehicle. Asked more than once. SUPER smeared. Horrible on windows!!!! Won’t be back!5 years agoToday I am extremely pissed with the work they did. Have gone here a couple times and usually it’s decent, I’ll admit. Today I got premium which includes vacuuming dusting of dash and console windows and then mainly outside. the only thing touched inside was my 2 front seats. Backs, everything else is still covered in hair along with my dash and center console which we’re part of the premium. And the windshield is still dirty. Very pissed6 years agoIt was quick and most of my car looks great, but they missed a lot when dusting and the mirrors. A little disappointed. And they wouldn’t have vacuumed out the cup holders if I hadn’t asked…5 years agoMost unprofessional detailing shop. The manager is rude. I called him to just clarify when my appointment was—he took 4 days to call me back and blamed it on being understaffed. NOT my problem. He also said to me “you don’t know when your appointment is.” Like it was my fault—and I was just bothering him for no reason. We took our 2018 truck to them for a full detail inside and out. We decided last minute to not have the outside detailed—from reading other google reviews. It didn’t seem like the smartest choice. Anyways, we went with a full interior detail. Mind you this is $100 job.
This was the worst detail job I have ever seen. The seats were barely vacuumed—still had traces of dog hair and a visible lollipop stick to the seat. The windshield wasn’t cleaned at all. The steering column had dust all over it. They didn’t vacuum under mats. There was visible dust everywhere. The so called manager didn’t even know who detailed it. We asked for a refund. Do not take your car here. They have went downhill over the past 6 years. That was the last time we took a car there and back then the truck looked amazing!!! This job looked as if someone took 30 minutes to quickly clean the car out. What a joke/rip off.
7 years agoWent to Auto Bathouse today to get my car cleaned. They were running a special on a car wash with an inside and outside detail. It was awesome. Everything came out great and my car hasn’t looked cleaner. Even better, everyone there was so polite and helpful. I’ll definitely be coming back.

The Ultimate Guide to Car Wash Clearances Across the US
Most car washes have a standard clearance that accommodates the majority of vehicles on the road. The clearance is the height limit for cars entering the car wash, ensuring that the vehicle can pass through without hitting any obstructions.
The standard clearance for car washes is typically around 7 feet (2.13 meters). This allows most sedans, SUVs, and trucks to safely pass through the car wash without any issues. However, it’s important to note that clearance can vary slightly from one car wash to another, so it’s always a good idea to check with the car wash facility if you’re unsure about your vehicle’s height.
Here are some examples of vehicles that can typically fit under the standard clearance of most car washes:
- Sedans
- SUVs
- Crossovers
- Minivans
- Compact trucks
On the other hand, some vehicles may exceed the standard clearance and may not be suitable for certain car washes. These can include:
- Taller trucks (lifted trucks)
- Vans with roof racks
- RVs and campervans
- Large commercial vehicles
If you have a vehicle that exceeds the standard clearance, there are specialized car washes that can accommodate taller or larger vehicles, often referred to as “truck washes” or “commercial vehicle washes.” These facilities have higher clearances and are designed to cater to vehicles that may not fit in regular car washes.

How much does it cost to wash your car in the USA?
Here are some factors that can affect the cost of car washes in the USA:
- Type of car wash: The type of car wash you choose will have a big impact on the cost. Automatic car washes are typically less expensive than touchless car washes, and full-service car washes are the most expensive.
- Location: The location of the car wash can also affect the cost. Car washes in urban areas are typically more expensive than car washes in rural areas.
- Size of the car: The size of your car will also affect the cost of the car wash. Larger cars will typically cost more to wash than smaller cars.
- Additional services: You may also choose to add additional services to your car wash, such as undercarriage cleaning, tire shine, or interior vacuuming. These additional services will typically cost extra.
Here is a table of some average car wash prices in the USA:
Type of car wash | Average price |
---|---|
Basic automatic car wash | $10 – $20 |
Touchless car wash | $15 – $30 |
Full-service car wash | $20 – $50 |
It is important to note that these are just average prices, and the actual cost of a car wash may vary depending on the factors listed above.
Here are some tips for saving money on car washes:
- Wash your car yourself: This is the most cost-effective way to clean your car.
- Look for coupons or discounts: Many car washes offer coupons or discounts, so be sure to check before you go.
- Wash your car during off-peak hours: Car washes are typically more expensive during peak hours, so try to wash your car during off-peak hours to save money.
- Consider a membership: Some car washes offer memberships that can save you money on washes over time.

I’m not one to complain online or much at all but this was just outrageous and appalling. Went to get my car washed on my way to pick a relative up from the airport, paid for the most expensive wash that claims to include door jams, windows, doors and interior jams as well as vacuuming. I asked the girl when purchasing if this includes them wiping down/cleaning the seats and she said no that would be an additional $20 to which I agreed to pay because I wanted my car extra clean and had some fort on the passenger seat. I went through the car wash and got out for them to clean the interior and hand dry the exterior. They did not do my tires or rims, they almost forgot to vacuum all together and they did NOT do the center console/cup holders, the doors- from the dust still on the dash they didn’t seem to do that either. And when I opened the door and looked at the seats I could clearly see they had not been cleaned either, despite my paying the additional $20 for said service. I asked him to please wipe down the seats like I paid and requested they do, which he did with and attitude. They still did not clean the doors or console/cup holders and it wasn’t until I got to the airport and opened to trunk to load the luggage that I see they also did not vacuum or clean the trunk as promised. For $60 I recommend you go ANYWHERE else, even the $10 car washes from kids for schools would have done better then this.$60 Down the drain I’ll never get back, and will now have to get it cleaned else where all over again.
Went for car wash – full service today. No vacuuming done. I didn’t pay attention as I was on a call and just noticed that the divers seat is clean. Please make sure you check your car after they are done with the full service. This is the first time I have experienced it here at rocket car wash. The girl who was doing the vacuuming did not do her job properly.
Just got home from having a full service done to my car, and touching up all the areas that were missed! Take off your sunglasses before leaving as the front mats and cargo space were not completely vacuumed, the interior windshield was simply wiped quickly (I took off my Ezpass so that they give the windshield a good clean and the marks were still there), the center console was missed entirely.
I don’t mind paying for the service when the service is good. I will not be making the trek to this business again 🙁
I’ve been using Rocket now for a while and they always do a great job. The employees are very nice and pay close attention to detail. If you need your car cleaned up inside and out then I definitely recommend.
I do not recommend this facility. I have given them multiple chances and there’s an excuse everytime as to why my car comes out still dirty, then they smear the dirt around with dirty towels. I bring it to their attention and nothing is done.
