a month agoOne of the highlights of the week. Wish their exec cost would be less. 2% is not nearly enough. Good deals in bulk. They need to have more variety. Wish they had more quality products when it comes to choosing what to display and not just the manufacturer with the lowest bida year agoMan o man more Costco need to be like this one. Some much product and well organized. Really enjoyed my Costco experience here. Maybe I came here on an off time or when it wasn’t too busy but it is nice to come to a Costco it’s organize like this one. I had a staff member watching my cart as I used the restroom and they were very friendly. The restroom was clean. They have very quality items! I always get my dog food here.3 weeks agoCostco has the best deals when trying to buy in bulk. Also, they have a section dedicated to name brand clothes. It can get busy in their parking lot but that’s only because everybody knows that’s where you go to get your bulk items like garbage bags or whatever11 months agoWent today (30 Sep. 2022) and was sad at what i found in their meat section. After 20 yrs of being a Butcher i found this appalling. 2 to 3 packages of green pork, at 6pm. This means that they are not culling in the morning or though out the day. Several ground turkey pack discolored. The rest of the warehouse was fine. But the meat section was a let down, leaving me to think they are not keeping things fresh!

a month agoThis Costco constantly puts in effort to improve. They are currently in the process of a major renovation, so parking is bad depending on when you go, but I always like to walk from near the gas station anyway since trying to get out of the central parking lot can be a total bear. I’ve seen the most improvement in how they handle the entrance to the gas station. People can be crazy trying to get in, but the better setup lends itself to easier servicing, which I gratefully notice as someone who gasses up almost once a week! I’m looking forward to enjoying the new store when it’s done in a year, I believe. It will no longer be the smallest Costco in San Diego, I believe!5 months agoYou need a membership to get in but the prices are outstanding. I got a 24 pack of AleSmith 394 pale ale for $25 which a 12 pack of that at a different store can be $25. I sure wish the people were nice to each other everyone’s in such a hurry inside the store and in the parking lot.3 months agoMy husband and I were shopping 6/13/23 mid morning at the La Mesa, Ca store. I’ve been an executive member since 2020. We were using his card since I didn’t have mine. We went through the self checkout but before we could get near the registers a lady stopped us. There was also an old lady in a red vest right next to her and saw us both. A male employee then helped us check out. As we were finishing I realized we forgot something. My husband went out to load the car and I went back for the item. The cashier said to come back to him since it was my husbands card. I never got back to the cashier. The same old lady in the red vest stopped me regarding my membership. She was rude and condescending that I wasn’t the person in the photo. As I tried to explain what the other employee told me to do; she still wouldn’t allow me to pass. I shouldn’t have had to explain to her in the first place. She was not involved in the conversation that I had with another employee and had no clue as what had happened. Plus the fact she just saw me and my husband only a few minutes prior. As I’m very frustrated and about to show her in fact I am a member with my app my husband saw the whole thing unfold and came over. She changed her attitude and we were able to check out. I was very frustrated when I left your store and had I not been in a hurry to pick up my kids I would have spoke to someone in charge.a month agoAlways love this Costco! Nice people and low prices3 weeks agoTook my vehicle to their tire center to have the two rear tires replaced. Upon getting vehicle back, they left three lug nuts off saying the threads were cross threaded. One lug nut was from the front tire which they had no business touching. The other two were one from each side of the rear axle. Upon me verifying the issue, I found that the threads were not cross threaded but stripped further in preventing torque from being applied to the lug nut. I tried calling their supervisor and explain to him the situation. He denied that the technicians touch the front wheel even after I told him the vehicle was handed to them with all the lug nuts on and asked him how did a lug nut come off the front if the technician never touched it. Then they tried saying that the lug studs were damaged when they brought the vehicle in. I explained to him that there were no problems when I put the spare tire on the right rear. No resistance of the lug nut which would indicate cross threading no problems torquing lug nut down which means the threads were in good shape. But all of the sudden each wheel their technician touched ended up with the damaged lug stud. The issue isn’t the cost or labor to replace the lug studs I could do that easily, but it’s the principle that they refuse to take any accountability for the actions of their technician.

Clean, neat & organized. Come & shop for all your needs & some things you did not know you needed. The smart shopper can really save some money by shopping at Costco prices. So much good food! A rotisserie chicken will render about 8 meals! Just add sides. Membership is worth it even for 1 monthly trip! New kiosks to order & pay for food at the food court. Membership scan required. Busy, busy. Gas lines were quick. Very busy Wed!

Shopping at Costco prices can lead to significant savings for savvy shoppers. Moreover, the store boasts an impressive selection of delicious food. Their rotisserie chicken, for instance, can provide approximately eight meals when paired with sides. Having a membership is truly worthwhile, even if you only visit once a month.
Notably, the store has introduced new self-service kiosks at the food court for ordering and payment. Access to the food court requires scanning your membership card. The store is usually bustling with activity, but despite the crowds, the gas lines move swiftly. For some reason Thursday, was particular, tend to be very busy at the store.

Started with the optical shop, where I was helped by a very nice young lady & ordered new glasses. Then, I picked a few necessities and checked out. Very busy store, but everything moved along quickly.
