Although it is convenient to run the car through opposed to washing it at home, I still end up washing it as this car was does not do very well. After today (4/15/23) I decided it would be my last time using this facility. The entire right side of truck bed and the tailgate did not get touched. Considering the line is so long, it is not feasible to get back in line for a 13 minutes wait to run it through again and there is no other route to bypass all those in the line. Instead, I find myself going back days later to use the 4-day rewash but this does not correct the poor washing methods and I still have the same untouched areas that I have to wash anyways. It would be helpful if the lazy folks with the sprayers prior to entry actually paid attention to what they are doing instead of simply holding a wand and pointing in the direction of the car. Why are they even there? Why waste the money paying them if they are not doing their jobs properly? Use that money to improve the actual car wash and let the lazy people go. Cup holders weren’t cleaned, nor was the doors or dash. No scent was sprayed because the kid said well you didn’t pay for it. Ok, I get the same thing every time and have never been told I had to pay for a scent to be sprayed. Very upset and disappointed that my money was wasted on such a poor job. This car wash gets zero stars from me. As shown in the photos, it doesn’t even look like my car was washed. These photos were taken immediately after using the $20 car wash and parking in a vacuum bay. There was soap residue all over my car and it didn’t even take the normal spring/summer bugs off. Not even a few of the bugs were gone. Very disappointed and was a total waste of money!
Usually, good service at Zips Car Wash located on Cherry Road by Publix in Rock Hill. Two weeks ago, I got my car washed and they damage my vehicle I have several of dents all over my car. I started an insurance claim with them and tried reaching the owner by email. As of now no one has contact me regarding this solution, as if this has been swept under the rug. I been a member for a while up until my car was just damaged going thru the last cycle of the car wash. I reported the incident and there Mgr took pictures to only say he didnt believe it happened there because they guide u on the tracks and there were no other incidents that day. They also denied my claim. If they review the camara footage they will see something was wrong. I’m never going back again.
