4 months agoWasn’t sure what to expect after reading the reviews but was pleasantly surprised, they were out of a lot of ice cream but otherwise seemed pretty stocked up. Nice desert wine selection, wasn’t expecting that at a Target of all places. It saved me a trip to another store. Cashiers were helpful, no complaints there whatsoever. The police did have to come escort out a homeless woman who was being disruptive, but that’s a San Francisco thing, not a Target thing. They close super early and it would be nice if they were open later, but that is also a San Francisco thing. A lot of stores here close shockingly early compared to locations in other major metropolitan areas, but you only have to look around and… you get it. Just a sign of the times.
a year agoI am happy this is close to where I am staying so I can save on eating out. I was surprised to see a lot of empty shelves, but this seems to be a global issue. What really surprised me though is the many daily items behind lock and key. I asked one staff member if they have a problem with people stealing Pepto-Bismol (because it was behind glass) and she said that is why it’s locked up. 😮 Definitely not something I am used to seeing where I am from! Oh and the security, so many of them…a month agoTarget needs to lower their prices just a bit. Starting to get a bit ridiculous how expensive it is to go grocery shopping and please stop putting everything behind glass where customers can’t grab the things they need without having to wait very long for an employee to come and help u get what u need that’s behind glass and then have the audacity to not give me the product and tell me to ask for it at the register when I’m not even finished doing my shopping and wanted to take a look at the product that I AM PLANNING TO PURCHASE. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️a year agoNice to see a target near where the hotel is. I already stopped in twice for some daily essentials that I forgot to bring on the trip.It also amazed me that toothpastes and over the counter medications have to be locked up. I guess this is the inner city?
a year agoTarget near Union Square. Good place to shop for necessities. Reasonably priced, quite clean, helpful staffs, well it’s a Target store after all.

3 weeks agoRecently, my friends and I have bought many gift cards, but they are basically unusable. When checking out, it shows that there is no money in the gift card. This is really disappointing and angry. Is this a system issue? It’s still your cashier’s mistake? We still have to make a phone call to handle it, it’s really a waste of time. I won’t buy Target’s gift cards again in the future.5 months agoHave started using the drive up service for most of my Target grocery shopping. It is so efficient and convenient. My order is always delivered out to my vehicle timely and the staff are the best. So happy to have this option available for the customers.a month agoGreat selection. Great service. Employees are always very helpful when I ask for assistance finding items. The checkout experience is always very friendly too.a week agoGreat target drive up with option for Starbucks also! It saves time rather than waiting for help to unlock cabinets.5 years agoDon’t come here expecting a full-sized Target but they do have a pretty decent food selection since it’s right next to sfsu. There are very many helpful staff members and the customer service desk is outstanding and quick to solve your problems probably because they want you to leave but that is completely understandable in retail. The clothing section is understandably limited to things that college students would probably wear if they needed to go on a job interview tomorrow or if they somehow lost their favorite pair of shorts shorts but the great news is you can return everything & anything target there, so return away! Also decent skincare available that’s indie & way less expensive than Sephora.

Wonderful Store with great staff and cleanliness, charging stations upstairs and down, ADA private companion restroom available if needed ADA and wheelchair accessible inside and out!
There is now a code needed for this ADA restroom 🚻, please see customer service for access.
Fewer products than at Targets outside the city (eg. no high protein breakfast cereal, or protein bread). No bagging person, just one cashier per lane (you can bag yourself).
Took my 3 year old here to look around while my wife was at her doctors appointment. We did found a couple of things we like. The workers here made it feel very awkward. I can feel him breathing down my neck while I’m using the self checkout. Don’t go here.
An average sized target, which is really quite big for a city location. It’s got two levels and all your normal sections (clothing, tvs, groceries, alcohol, games…etc.)
This is a pleasant 2-level store. Everything seemed bright a colorful. Love the Target pups everywhere. I did find the grocery section a bit confusing – but maybe because it was my first time at this location? I walked around several isles trying to find what I needed. But it’s definitely a nice store. Smooth self-checkout. Store was clean and there’s a Starbucks on the first level.
I only removed stars because I felt like the grocery layout could have been better. And when I arrived home and opened my cheese, it was full of mould.
