3 weeks agoI was in this store on Sunday 8-20-2023 and there wasn’t any shopping carts available. I asked one of the clerks to call for a cart run. After waiting 20 minutes no one brought any carts inside. I spoke to the manager “Donovan” and told him I had an elderly person with me and she needed a cart to shop with. He said they were not allowing their employees to go outside due to the smoke in the air because of the fires. I asked can the employees wear a mask? He laughed at me, said No and walked away. Eventually, a nice shopper gave us her cart. I refuse to shop at this store anymore. They are NOT customer focused and their employees are too young to understand the meaning of Customer Service. This has been reported to the corporate office. DO NOT shop at this store!!!! Incompetent employees that should not be working in Customer Service.5 months agoWho doesn’t love a Target run?? New self/checkouts are so helpful. My line waiting time disappeared. The electronics displays are always fun to explore. The produce is surprisingly fresh, and there is even a vegetarian meal section in their frozen foods aisles. This target is conveniently located near several fast food and dine-in restaurants too.in the last weekThis used to be such a nice shopping center, now the Target is appalling. Their carts and bathrooms are always disgusting. Maybe they could get two or three of the employees that do nothing but stand in your way while slothily collecting online orders to clean the carts and the bathrooms??2 months agoThis particular Target is a very frustrating store. It is no exaggeration to say that at least 80% of drive up orders I make here end up with items getting canceled for being out of stock. They need to do a better job updating the inventory online.
Last time this happened, I went inside the store and found the item they said they didn’t have. There were a ton of them! Did the workers just decide to mark it as unavailable because they couldn’t find it and were lazy? Very frustrating.
It’s annoying that when I order a couple items for drive up, they just bring out the items, with no bag. That’s inconvenient, and they charge a bag fee when you make an order!
The store itself is horribly unorganized, with many items in random places nowhere near their tag. This makes it virtually impossible to tell what the price is unless you have the app to scan barcodes.
The bathrooms are often filthy with no trash cans.
I want to like this store. Drive up is very nice and convenient (except when they cancel items, which is virtually all the time). Their Target brand products are nice. The electronics department and crew are always helpful.
Still, the issues I listed above make this a 3-star place, if I’m being generous.
3 months agoGood location. Clean store. Good selection of various goods.

6 months agoHad zero issues at this location! Clean, besides the dressing rooms. Loved the variety and options they have to choose from!in the last weekThis location is absolutely terrible. They have empty shelves for days upon days. South hill location doesn’t have any issues keeping products in stock and shelves full. Sprague Target is very neglected. The item I needed, that was not available, IS available at the other location. Because of course it is.4 months agoFrankly I’m disappointed in the small maternity section this store had. At least it had something. Almost every store my wife and I tried to go to did not have ANY maternity clothing. I wish there were options for knee length shorts for her. We dress modestly. She doesn’t wear short shorts which is all you had. Very underutilized market in this area. Consider changing that.a month agoOrdered a TV. Picked up via Drive Up. Associates were friendly and helped load the TV. No complaints. Super easy. Would recommend.5 months agoIt was a great trip to Target this morning. The restroom was clean. I found what I wanted and check out was fast. I allowed more time for my stop in so it left me with extra time for the rest of my day!

This target is really struggling when it comes to Operations and Logistics. The inventory level is bad, the execution of keeping a clean neat store is bad, check out the folds in clothing, looking like an old navy at 5pm on a Saturday, except it’s a Wednesday mid morning! Many items throughout without pricing, produce quality is not good. Regional management need to do a store visit and serious shake up. This store does not show well compared to many others I have shopped in from around the country. No I am not an ex-employee at this location. Yes I did manage a store back east and our entire management staff would of all been let go based on how this store looks. Sorry, but I have seen much better. Hate to give 2 stars but I’m being honest.
UPDATE: shopped today as needed a few things. Not a main register open. Long customer line to go to the returns checkout to do regular checkout?!?! Surely they have more staff. Attached a pic to show.
When you purchase items online, you automatically get charged .80 cents for bags and are supposed to get reimbursed for all the bags you don’t take. I usually only get (1) bag and should only be charged .08 cents and reimbursed .72 cents for the remainder of the bags not taken. This never happens! Sometimes you never get reimbursed, or sometimes they only reimburse you for 1 bag at .08 cents, so Target is making a profit of .72 cents off you or more each time you pick up an online order. I’ve called several times concerned, and they say it will be fixed, and it never is..showed them my bank statements and still nothing! This is at the Southhill store, wondering if it’s happening all over and why??
I like target. This specific location lacks workers who are trained and presentable. There are a handful of workers I know are trained well and happy to be there. That is what is saving this review from a one star. It’s mostly the workers just don’t look equipped not to mention the store is just not in top shape. I hope they get some more formidable staff members so I can enjoy my experiences at target a little more.
This is my go to target always! But the reason I’m finally giving it a five star review is because of the manager Jacob, I’m pretty sure his name was. He was absolutely amazing after two very rude workers told me today that something was to hard to get off of a mannequin he came over and immediately helped me. Very grateful and these employees are lucky to have him as a manager.
I’ve shopped here of and on for several years now as it’s close to my doctors office. Well I’m not sure I’m going to come in any more during the summer because they don’t seem to know what an air conditioner is! This place is like a sauna! And it’s not just one time. I’ve been in several times recently and so have several people I know and they have all said the same thing. It’s too darn hot to shop in there. The employees look miserable in that sweltering swamp of a store. I think it’s cruel to make your employees work under such harsh conditions. I used to work in a retirement home and the place was always kept warmer because old people are perpetually cold but that place was an ice palace compared to this store! Turn your A/C on to a normal setting to make your customers and your employees more comfortable or you will lose both!
