I found a lot of great items but was bummed that the clothing on the models weren’t in stock… it should be kept current. I was able to find the items online for shipping. There weren’t any employees available for assistance. The Garner’s Ferry location always has employees out and about. I love that Target embraces diversity!

You could not imagine a more unprofessional environment if you tried. This place is genuinely displeasing to shop in.

I came to the store to purchase dog treats that support bone and joints. I was dismayed when I couldn’t find them on the shelf. A kind employee named Gill, who was handling another matter promised to be right back. He quickly returned, checked and saw the item was in stockroom, and retrieved them for me. Five star service!!

My daughter and I went to Target this morning looking for a wolf squish mellow for my granddaughter’s best friends birthday. They were supposed to have them in stock according to an online search. We searched the area where it stated they were to be found, we searched a big box of them in the center isle, and asked a guy stocking to help us, his reply was to go electronics and ask them for help. Well we pushed the button and waited for someone to respond. A gentleman came up, we showed him what we were looking for and how it showed they supposedly had them in stock, and he went on his way to look in the back. I honestly thought it was a lost cause and he would come back empty handed, but much to my surprise…….. Here came Raymond down the center isle holding a grey wolf squish mellow. I just wanted to take the time to tell him and his employer how much we appreciate him taking the time to do his job. He has the best customer service I have seen in a very long time. There are still good employees out there that take pride in themselves and doing a good job. Thank You for all your help today and because of you there will be a very happy 10 year old when she receives this squish mellow at her party on Saturday. THANK YOU!!!

Target in Columbia SC: Do’s and Don’ts Every Shopper Should Know

When shopping at Target, it is important to be mindful of the store’s policies and etiquettes. Here are some rules to follow, as well as some things you should avoid doing:

  • Be respectful of others: While shopping, be courteous to fellow shoppers and employees. Avoid blocking aisles or acting in a disruptive manner that may inconvenience others.
  • Observe return policy: Familiarize yourself with Target’s return policy, which states the time frame and conditions for returning items. Be mindful of any restrictions, such as opened electronics or non-refundable items.
  • Follow check-out procedures: When checking out, wait in line and be patient. Have your payment method ready and cooperate with the cashier, ensuring that all your items are scanned correctly.
  • Respect pricing: Make sure to pay the correct price for items. If you notice a pricing error, politely bring it to the attention of a store employee or manager for resolution.
  • Keep your children under control: If you have children with you, ensure they are well-behaved and accompanied at all times. Avoid letting them play with or damage store merchandise.
  • Don’t shoplift: It should go without saying, but shoplifting is illegal and can result in serious consequences. Always pay for the items you intend to purchase and do not tamper with security devices.
  • Avoid hoarding clearance items: While it may be tempting to stock up on heavily discounted items, be considerate of other shoppers. Buy what you need and leave some for others, ensuring everyone has a fair chance.
  • Don’t abuse return policy: Abusing Target’s return policy by frequently returning used or damaged items without just cause is unfair to the company. Be honest when returning items and only do so when necessary.
  • Respect disability-accessible areas: Be mindful of parking spaces and aisles designated for individuals with disabilities. Do not use these areas unless you have the appropriate authorization.

Following these guidelines will help create a positive shopping experience for yourself and others at Target. Remember to be courteous, respectful, and mindful of the store’s policies and other shoppers’ needs.

  1. Could be because short staff or something.
Didnt have a negative experience however its lacking cleanliness. This wasnt just one spot. Clothes were all over the floor too.
Honestly this isn’t just a store problem. It really looks like someone let their toddler loose in here and ripped everything off the shelves.
The adult sections are like this too.

  2. I love Target, but this store has really gone downhill. Aisles are an absolute disaster; clothes, shoes, and home decor are all over the floor.

  3. Walking up to customer service and see a line and in route see a lady Denise B, near there and ask about an issue on receipt. She rudely directs me to customer service line. After waiting behind 4 people for over 13 minutes she proceeds to come behind customer service line and now ask if she can help me. So while she unpacked a box and I stood in line she is now ready to assist me! WOW Target this is not the not the customer service you once provided. Then to make it better, now I have to wait another 5 minutes on a manger. Thank goodness she was nice but your front person in the store the first I saw, was very rude. Thought you may want to be advised of this.

  4. Purchased 2 items online checked out email said my items were in process. Gave team members over 4 hrs to complete my order during that time someone else purchased my items. I drove over 35 miles to get what I purchased and the. Customer service said oops sorry you are out of luck. Not cool Target. They never updated until I got there my items were out of stock. Maybe when a order comes in go get it off the shelf for the customer in a timely fashion so no one else purchases it.

  5. I had such an amazing interaction with my cashier named Drew today! He was so friendly. I really enjoyed my trip as a whole to Target today.
