Always with the starbucks inside target 💯💯 they do have a lot of products to choose from. you just gotta find it yourself or of course, you can always ask. Target is our go-to place to buy kid’s stuff, like clothes, shoes, milk, vitamins, diapers, etc.
After my most recent experience at this target, I will avoid shopping at this target at all costs. I may just avoid all targets. Period.
I went in to purchase facial moisturizer (for around $15-16) and found it was behind a *locked* case. Very annoying that the store would lock up a $15 moisturizer, but I was already there, so I searched for a call button to ask for an employee to unlock the case for me. However, I looked up and down the aisle and I could not locate a call button.
So, I walked around the store (for several minutes) until I found someone who worked there and I said that I would like to buy something that was behind a locked case. They simply told me that there was a call button near the razors.
Again, I walk around searching for a call button near razors. When I found the aisle with the women’s razors, I searched for a call button and found nothing – no button.
I walked back to where I had found the Target employee who had told me that it was near the razors. I said that I did not see a call button near the razors. I was frustrated at this point and added “It should not be this hard to pick up moisturizer.” They rudely responded “It’s not” (with an eye roll) as he walked me over to the *men’s* razors and pushed a button that was hidden at the end of the aisle (which was not at all near the *women’s* moisturizer that I was trying to purchase, by the way).
When someone else did arrive to unlock the case, I expected to put it in my basket and continue shopping for other items. But, that employee informed me that I was not allowed to put it in my basket…someone needed to hold on to it for me until I was ready to check out.
Really?!?!
Apparently they did not feel that I could be trusted to walk around target with a $15 moisturizer while I shopped.
That was just the last straw. Honestly, I should have left the store sooner.
I have shopped many times at Target, but no more. I am not going to shop at a store that treats its customers like criminals because of the neighborhood where they shop.
I left without buying anything. I drove to ULTA – just about a minute up the road – where I found that same moisturizer. At ULTA, I easily: 1) picked up the moisturizer from a shelf myself, 2) carried it to the registered myself, and 3) paid for it. Very straightforward. And *that* is how it should work!
Nobody collecting shopping carts so they’re just scattered around the lot, and none inside. Only one register and 3 self checkouts operating with a line of 20+ people waiting. Half the items in the clothing section sitting on the ground in piles. Poor attitude from the single cashier. Am ready to just drive to Benicia next time I need to go shopping.
There is always the same group of men that ask for donations outside the entrance. They always peer pressure you so hard to donate. Even if you’re on the phone they still stop and pressure you mid conversation of your phone conversation. I’ve notified management numerous times before and nothing seems to happen. It makes me not want to come in the store at all.
No one in line at the pick-up area, yet still took almost 10 minutes to get my items (on line order). I wasn’t given a receipt for my items, so they became non-returnable. I felt uncomfortable leaving the store without the receipt, I was worried that I might be challenged.
