Been coming to the self serve wash for the last 3 years now and its always been a good experience. The presoak actually works well compared to many places. Dont have to use the brush and scratch your paint to get your car clean. Only thing id say is bring a wheel brush cause the wheel cleaner doesnt get the dirt off the best but if you spray some on then scrub them itll turn out good. Also never had an issue drying inside the wash as long as nobodys behind you trying to get out.

The perfect place to take your dog for a bath! Mabel was scared at first and didn’t want to walk up the ramp or stay in the tub. We got her up the ramp with a treat and then there was a chain to connect to her collar. Inserted my credit card and it automatically holds $15 on your card but if you don’t use it that much you only pay for the time you used it. Example: We used it for right under 7 minutes and it charged us an even $7. That was to rinse, shampoo, tick shampoo, dawn dish soap, rinse and partially dry! They have shampoo, tick shampoo, conditioner and a dryer for sure. I’m not sure what other options there were if any. They have two aprons to wear to keep from getting wet. Make sure to bring some old towels tho, there are none there. We’ll be doing this monthly now. It’s gonna be her spa day! After all, our fur-babies deserve the best!!! Go! You won’t be disappointed!

I only used the pet wash that is part of the facility; I did not use the car wash. The pet wash is in need of some updates, but it has the potential to be good. The chain on the sink to restrain your pet is a good idea, but the hooks are pretty much broken. The aprons to keep you dry are a nice touch, but the cords are so long that it is difficult to keep the apron on tight, so you still get fairly wet (some wetness would obviously be expected). There is no way to stop the timer while you hand scrub your pet, so the $1/min wash gets expensive even when nothing is running. The machine that accepts cash is very fussy. As a result, the initial 5 min timer expired as I was unable to add a few more dollars. I had to start over and use a credit card which meant another $5 min purchase. I was not able to stop the timer at exactly 5 minutes, so it rounded my charge up to $6. The timer shows the cost counting up per second like a gas pump, but again, it rounded up despite it showing my charge being just a few cents over $6. The air dryer is okay, but since the air is not heated, my dog didn’t dry much. I could have continued to use it, but it would have cost at least another $5-10.

Very nice place, well maintained for the most part Even have blowers, which for most cars may be useless. But if you keep your car waxed/sealed it blows the water away very nicely.

I like that they take CCs in the stalls as well. Way more convenient that $10-20 worth of coins and loading them in 1 by 1.

    Auto wash works well too.

Solid wash compared to most gas station washers. While not overly useful, there is a hand blow dryer for your car. I like the pet washing area, great for the winter month and if your not feeling like you want to drop $50 at the groomer.

  1. It’s not love-hate, it’s more of a like-dislike situation with this car wash. I like the ease of use and generally how clean they get your vehicle. Not clean the first time through – just loop around for a second try. The dislike side of it my monthly bill went up a few dollars without any notification. I already thought the place is bordering on being too expensive – I don’t like sneaky price hikes.

This place might be for you if:
+ You wash your car at least once per week.
+ You are okay with touch wash (extra clean, but with the possibility of scratches?)
+ You also need a place to vacuum your vehicle.
+ You want a quick washing experience.
+ You like the hassle free nature of subscriptions (the app line moves quickly!)

Not so much for you if:
    – You don’t wash your car often. There are cheaper places to get a good wash.
    – Your paint job or vehicle in general is high end (touch wash concerns).
    – You want a better underbody wash. I am not particularly impressed with the “under body” was from Tommy’s.

  2. This car wash does a great job at cleaning my car. It is a pricey option, unless you go with a membership which is helpful if you plan on going frequently. During the warmer months they have the option to wash your floor mats which is a huge bonus. The vacuums are free with purchase of wash or if you have the membership. I have not had any interaction with the staff, but during Halloween season they had a fundraiser which was pretty cool. If you’re not used to the conveyor belt style car wash it can be a little bit to get used to, but it’s nice to be able to relax a little bit while your car gets cleaned. The colorful flashing lights add a lot to the experience.

  3. Love tommys. Whats there to say… the membership is the way to go, 35 bucks a month for unlimited, car washes. The price for one “ultimate car wash” is 18 bucks and 12 bucks at most gas stations. 35 bucks a month when you go through it two, three even, four times in a row. Ive taken my car through four times in a day that would normally be 72 bucks. Also open in the winter when we need the car wash the most. Car washes aret just to keep it pretty, road salt will rot your car quick.

  4. Have you ever seen one of those internet videos of a car traveling through a wash with their dogs while playing house music at full blast and the colors of the soaps on the windows create a nightclub type atmosphere t
hat seems really fun and enjoyable? That’s the kind of wash you can expect at Tommy’s. Download their app and sign up for automatic washes or whatever and you can go through the fast lane which will certainly make you feel cooler than the people waiting in the lane that have yet to pay. For the full night club experience, go for the most expensive wash, which ultimately is probably better for your car, at least that’s what I’m duped to believe.

  5. I was asked to update my review. I had originally given five stars, but since I am going to be more specific now, I guess I should set it to four stars.

I like the car wash. I have a membership for The Works. I try to wash my truck once a week. The free vacuums are great.

So why only four stars? The location of the car wash isn’t the best. It’s right on a super busy road, making turning left impossible. The vacuum lot is a bit tight. The wash itself sometimes doesn’t completely wash the back end of my truck. I will come out with a dry spot in the middle. The undercarriage wash isn’t always the best. I have runners on my truck and sometimes there is still dirt on them afterwards. You have to do a 180 degree turn to get into the car wash, which is a bit tight. Lastly, I once had my rear window shattered from the dryers. It was a crazy thing. There must have been a weak spot in the glass already. I was rolling through the dryers and the rear window shattered into the cab. I brought it to the attention to the employees. They seemed a bit skeptical, which is fair. I was told I would receive a call from their management about it, but I never did. Ultimately, it was fine. I have full glass coverage so I had it fixed. My insurance company didn’t even bother contacting the car wash about it.

All these things are a bit nit-picky. But five stars means perfection. And there are little things that make this car wash not exactly perfect. That said, and all the above said, I do appreciate Tommy’s Carwash. It’s fast and easy to get a wash in. The wash is good. I would recommend Tommy’s Carwash, and would recommend getting a membership.
