Mostly great environment, cheaper alcohol. Delicious hot bar though somehow more expensive. And mostly friendly employees there except one disrespectful cashier. I was listening music and try to check without realizing lane is closed because he was there. In a while, he glared at me and say ‘you see the sign (next lane)? And we have the lights off’. I mean he could’ve say ‘hey sir, this lane is closed and please proceed to next lane. Do you think that is the better way to talk?

Usually have a bad experience for one reason or another here. One thing that comes to mind was during covid, one of the cashier’s coughed on our baguette, the one that is open ended. The worker near the cheeses was coughing constantly another time, clearly sick. I don’t even care that much about this, but I say this just to give a sense that every time, something is off. I don’t have much of an opinion of whole foods anyway, so whatever; it’s just a place to go every now and then. Today I went after having not gone for a while, and their bathrooms require a code you can only get from a receipt! I truly do get it but this is a large chain store, not some sleezy market to which I go to get my cigarillos and 40s. I had a wife and two kids. Among them and myself, such a thing is ridiculous. This store is not somewhere a family will want to go. You’ll be fine if you’re alone, can go quickly in and out, etc. What kind of clientele and values are whole foods promoting here? With the produce being iffy, coded restrooms, poor service, I’ll just go to the market on Page.

love going to this location of whole foods whenever we are having a picnic. and it’s a plus that we are able to park in the connected parking garage as there’s an entrance in the garage. greeted immediately and checked out by a sweet staff member. it’s also close by to forest park by only a couple of minutes. today we got two hot to-go boxes, a box of assembled sushi, and a slice of chocolate cake. everything was so yummy like always!

The go to place for grocery if you are into organic fresh and whole foods! The fruits and veggies are amazing here. Their fresh house made juice is definite try- so fresh and delicious. Their pesto sauce dip, guacamole and salsas are very good as well! Loved their open jar and fill yourself system for grains, dry fruits and museli. You can fill how much you need and save packaging!

The gentleman who was working the charcuterie section today at 6/7ish pm was so nice. I forgot to get his name but he helped my partner and I get stuff for a board as we had never done one before. He gave us his recommendations and was so nice. Really great customer service you don’t often see anymore. Thanks so much 🙂

Josef S. absolutely made my day! I noticed these Strawberry Jalapeño crisps as Josef was ringing out my order and he so graciously gave me a box to try when I got home because he loves that product so much! So kind and generous of him, can’t say thank you enough! They are delicious!

Went for the first time today with three young kiddos in tow, and I was incredibly impress with the staff and prices! Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to help us navigate the store and welcome us. They even make it fun for kids! We will most definitely be going back!

I have a new favorite item from TJ’s, their Beef Birria. Not made with the traditional Cabrito, but still mighty tasty. Enough for 2 or savory leftovers the next day.

Lots of great products! Yummy! Always packed and the staff is always on their game. They are always monitoring and restocking product. The checkout lanes move fast too. You expect a wait due to crowds but they are very friendly and efficient getting you through the line in just a few minutes at most. We love the store, I need one closer to home.

There are some very fun, unique, and interesting products at Trader Joe’s. Two of my favorites are the street taco flavored corn chips and the dark chocolate peanut butter cups. I get these products every time we go. My daughter likes their coffee and some of their beauty products. Fun unique products and very friendly employees. What more could you ask for?

  1. This shop has a wider variety of international items then most. Produce – huge selection of fresh herbs and great fruit options. They even had cactus pears on sale.

The deli is definitely worth visiting. There is large variety of cheeses and meats. We got smoked Gouda and herb infused Mozzarella and jalapeño jerky sticks They are short staff so there is a bit of a wait.

Coffee selection is standard, but they did have a German coffee brand. They have a wider selection of teas.

Their staff are very friendly and actually bring you to the product that you are looking for and they show you similar products too that could work

It’s a little bit on the higher cost side but there are only a few markets like this. Plus the quality of the meat and produce is wonderful. It’s definitely worth a visit.

  2. It was a very nice experience. We went there to buy some international products which cannot be found anywhere else.

The store is a really good place for shopping for the most needed international products like syrups, herbs, spices, cheese, etc.

We bought pita bread, which had unfortunately expired a long time ago, and not consumable anymore.

We bought zalatimo sweet which was again unfortunately expired a long time ago and very dry. We didn’t know it had expired until we opened it and tried it. It was so solid and very dry.

They lack enough staff for how big and diverse their store is. We needed to ask about some products but no one was close enough to help.

Their parking lot is tight but acceptable.

Overall it is a great experience and you are going to have fun shopping there.

  3. They have an amazing array of international foods and produce. Went here for a Japanese themed dinner I was cooking. They had the red miso, mushrooms, kumquats saki and Japanese whiskey.

  4. If you are looking to sample flavors from around the world this is a great place. Most regions are represented here so if you are from the USA or immigrated and missing a taste from home it’s probably here. Would give 5 stars if parking wasn’t congested and prices were lower.

  5. Awesome place in Kirkwood. Country wise segregated items. If you are from India, Pakistan Bangladesh, brand items from your country are placed aside here. For Indians all spices (MDH, whole slices), yellow Dal (lentils), poha, rice (basmati, sona mansoori) papad, murmura, achar (pickle) besan, suji, pea, paneer, indian snacks, Parle-G, Toste, Rusk. Coconut

You may not get many verity of each item and in every size but almost every item is available here. I have attached a video of prices and some pictures of some items for reference. I am submitting these prices in month of June 2023. These prices may fluctuate over the time. Be careful about the prices while visiting store.
