They do have groceries and decent produce on the right side of the store, pet supplies in the far back left side of store, and a garden center/whatever is seasonal from Christmas to kayaks in the front left side of the store. I called ahead and was told I could get what I needed but when I came in the next morning, they were short staffed and could not sell me the tires I needed. Easy to get in and out of. Shelves are always full but the best part for me is the pharmacy team. Never had bad service. Always friendly to me. Great team in that department. The loaders at the drive up are great people too. They will get your car loaded and on your way quickly and kindly as well.
More security that I’m used to seeing at a Walmart but I assume there must be some big problems with theft and or the homeless community. There’s a section dedicated just to souvenirs which was interesting but in general a very standard experience for a Walmart.
I always love going to Walmart because you can meet some fun people there. There is some workers we always see there when we go on Monday who are so nice and always say hi. We also got to meet Spiderman there today which was very fun. The reason I give 4 stars though is that they don’t always have a good selection of fresh produce.
Usually I don’t have a bad experience there but lately they’ve been missing half of their inventory l(give me the things I’m looking for), and I tried using
Wow at SECURITY in Walmart which was very SHOCKING to me!! Paying for bag when you check out I am not use to. I was purchasing a lighter to light candle and it was locked up behind a cage WHICH IS EVEN MORE SHOCKING!! Just did not realize Anchorage crime was that bad. The lady acted as if I was 12 years old trying to buy the lighter which was weird. My husband had to purchase it.
