Time waiting: 45min. For this level of work, it’s what I expected so no issue there.
Without paying hundreds for a true detail, this is about as close as it gets. Overall score: 95/100.
Great results, friendly staff with a very clean and comfy waiting area.
Only a couple of oversights on the interior cleaning, but again this isn’t a true detail. You definitely get a bang for your buck here.

After the exterior wash they try and convince me to come back to have the interior done because it might take awhile. I explained that I can’t do it at another time and don’t mind waiting but if they want to refund me the interior portion of the fee that would work too. The manager walked over and said it wasn’t possible to refund me a portion. He said it may take an hour or more to get the interior cleaned. I said that’s fine it always takes at least an hour. After an hour he said my car was done. He seemed very unhappy that I had wanted the interior cleaned. He stated “it’s impossible to get all the dog hair out but at least it looks better than it did”. I quickly glanced at the carpet and left. Later I noticed that many areas were not cleaned, as shown in the pictures. I should hope it looks better than it did for $50! It just seemed to take forever. I know that they were slammed with clients all coming in during Spring break, but I should have noticed the majority of people just using the free vacuums and not getting the extra detail work done. Not too satisfied with the services here. Every time I come I never get the results I’m looking for, or pay for. For 50$ I feel like I shouldn’t have to ask anyone to clean my car again on the inside. The only worker there who goes above and beyond to clean my car inside and out is

My experience here was great. The manager Debbie was very helpful. I went to use a coupon code it wouldn’t work she did everything she could. The car wash itself was one of the first ones I’ve ever been through where my car came out actually completely clean. And again Debbie the manager made sure I didn’t need anything else she showed me how to use the machine that cleans your floor mats. Gave me free air fresheners. Made sure I had towels. Overall it was a great experience and I’ll definitely be using them in the future. On the days I’m too tired or too lazy to wash the car myself I’ll definitely be coming here. First time I’ve ever given a car wash five stars
The Wave exterior car wash was excellent and their customer service in the vacuum bays was outstanding. I have never been to a car wash that provided drying cloths and floor mat cleaning on top of vacuums and compressed air. Very impressed. I wish the other Wave locations did the same!
I visited Wave for the first time today. I purchased the basic carwash. I love this place. I like drying and cleaning my own car so I know it’s done to my standards. They provide towels, glass cleaner and free vacuums. The best feature is the compressed air. I use it to blow the water out of the nooks and crannies so there are no dry water spots on the paint by the time you get home. If you keep your car waxed as I do you can use the compressed air to pretty much dry the car off.
Debbie assistant stir manager at Newport News location just had the greatest customer service. Gave us a free car wash cause we had some mud that we blew on the car right after washing. We ended up buying a month pass cause of it.

You guys even helped me sign up for a membership(well worth it by the way) and answered every question I had ! Truly amazing and exceptional service . I didn’t catch the name of the guys in the wash but they were awesome as well !
