Self-Service Car Wash Prices in the US

Here is a price table of self-car washes in the US:

Type of Self-Car Wash Price Description
Basic Self-Car Wash $5 – $10 Includes washing, waxing, and vacuuming.
Comprehensive Self-Car Wash $10 – $15 Includes washing, waxing, vacuuming, and detailing the interior and exterior of your car.
Self-Service Car Wash $5 – $10 You wash your car yourself using the equipment provided by the self-car wash.

Here are some factors that can affect the cost of a self-car wash:

  • The size of your car: Larger cars will typically cost more to wash than smaller cars.
  • The level of detail you want: A more comprehensive wash will typically cost more than a basic wash.
  • The location of the self-car wash: Self-car washes in urban areas will typically cost more than self-car washes in rural areas.
  • The time of day you get your car washed: Self-car washes are typically busiest during peak hours, such as weekends and evenings.

If you are looking for a more affordable option, you can consider doing a self-service car wash. Self-service car washes typically cost around $5 – $10, and you can wash your car as often as you like. However, self-service car washes can be time-consuming and messy.

Ultimately, the best way to find out the cost of a self-car wash in your area is to call around to different self-car washes and get quotes. You can also use online resources, such as Yelp or Google Maps, to compare prices.

Are you kidding me? $40 dollars for what? For a splash of water? They DO NOT do a good job here. Don’t bring your car here.
To whom it may concern: when you charge $40 for a service, costumers expect a service. When you say your service includes vacuum, costumers expect that.
Very disappointed! Not coming back here.

If I could give zero stars I would. This has to be by worse the worse car wash experience ever. $35 down the drain! I should of listened to the reviews. I got the ultimate wash but let me tell you there was nothing unlimited about it. I didn’t even get the tire shine on my tires and when I brought it up the guy he looked at me like I was crazy. My car looks the same! All they did was a 5 second wipe. My seats still have crumbs as if they didn’t even vacuum. The outside? Still dirty. Save yourself some money & don’t come here. I had to grab some wipes and clean it myself. Terrible.

I had a LOT of ants in my car and couldn’t get rid of them. I came to this car wash yesterday, told them the issue and they told me that I needed an Express Interior wash and it would take 45 minutes. When they gave me the car back, it was very clean but there were still ants coming from the A/C vent. When I pointed this out, the manager came to discuss it with me, and they took the car back and spent another 45 minutes scrubbing everything to make sure there’s nothing to tempt the ants to come back. By the time I drove my car this morning the ants were completely gone and my car looks great. I really appreciate how much effort they put into cleaning my car and how courteous they were about the whole experience.

They raised their prices from $28 to $36 for an interior and exterior wash. I guess the greedy private equity ownership is catching up to it. A 28.5% increase is pretty ridiculous. I wonder if their staff got an equivalent raise.

This branch is not diligent or give good service for you money.
I paid 38$ for inside and outside cleaning of the car and it took only 2 minutes.
After payment when I got my keys back I noticed that it was not cleaned at all inside. And there where still smudges on the exterior of the car.
I asked them to clean the inside since it was dusty all over and the seats where full of crumbs. But they just wiped it for 10 seconds with a cloth.
No vacuuming, or deodorant was sprayed to properly clean.
I don’t recommend spending your money here. Go somewhere else or clean it yourself.
I ended up disputing the credit card transactions, what a shame.

I feel like half of the reviews are people wanting to show off their cars or trucks.

Jokes aside it’s one of a few self serve washes nearby that I use often. Depending how in depth you wanna go for washing your vehicle it can be $3-$10 (if you really wanna do the full rinse, soap, scrub, rinse, and wax)

Hand washing is “discouraged” when busy to help the line go (just go when it’s less busy) along with hand drying in the bays (there is parking available just on the other side)

    In summary:
For $5 if you go when it’s not busy you’re getting a quality wash and dry.

God-awful customer service! I spent $5 on five tokens and once I start the machine the pre-soak option doesn’t work and there’s no soap coming out of the high pressure SOAP nozzle. When I notify the owner of this he spends 5 minutes testing the machine. After that he comes back and tells me I should have known to try the foam brush. Since I normally hand wash my vehicle because I don’t want a dirty brush scratching my paint, the foam brush does me no good. Then the guy decides to argue with me for 5 minutes about how I should have known that the phone brush is the only way to get soap and also how I should have come to him right away instead of just giving me the five tokens that I paid for so I could use a different machine that actually has soap. It’s not my fault that he’s running a shoddy business that basically stealing money from customers because they don’t want to invest in proper equipment. I would say I’m not too surprised since about 90% of these self-service car washes are actually scams with broken machines that don’t actually give you what you pay for. This guy has no common sense. Why would I drive all night from out of state just to scam him for some high pressure water?

What can I say, it’s a car wash and the bays are usually available when I go and the machines all pretty much work all the time. Not too often I run into much of any trouble there. I do like how they have a card reading token dispenser, but I dislike that it doesn’t always let you know when it’s out of service until after you’ve paid.

Ok as far as self-serve car washes go. The towel vending machine took my last two tokens without giving me anything, so I guess that means I don’t have to come back.

I’m very happy with this car wash. They offer a great service at a reasonable price.

  1. My next door neighbor recommended Sam’s Car Wash just across the D.C.-Maryland border and I’m so glad he did. It’s very efficient. I pulled up on a Thursday morning with no line. Paid for the $15 super wash and drove my car into the car wash. The entire experience took around five minutes. The best part is that there are vacuums customers can use for FREE!

  2. Ngl this is one of the best car washes around. It’s at least clean and maintained which means their brushes likely have less dirt than other car washes in the area. Staff are very friendly and they lightly wipe off the excess water from your car after the blower.

Car was washed clean, I’d say its about what you’d expect from an automatic car wash but a little better.

Also the vacuuming is free which is incredible. I really hope people take good care of i.

They also have a subscription which is actually a really good deal. Gonna be getting it for myself soon.

  3. My go to car wash over the years. Outstanding service. They always keep my car shiny and sparkling. NOTE: If you see a long line of vehicles there, DO NOT WORRY! Sam’s move everyone fast and efficiently.

  4. SAM’S Car Wash have been there for years still giving great service. Fo some it’s the place to be in the summer . People connecting over thier cars or just a simple hello . I have been bringing my vehicles here for years. Now I go st least 3 times a week . They have a great deal. Unlimited washes for a great price of course. It’s just really nice to see a business still going that hold so many memories. May you all stay in business for many more.

  5. I love that I can go by as often as I like for the monthly fee, which save me a lot of money. I love the way the wash my car. I also like that I can use their free vacuum to vacuum my car.
