I LOVE this self service and automatic car wash! It’s ALWAYS clean, it’s got great soap and its always stocked full of it. Everything ALWAYS works and the vacuums ALWAYS have so much suction that it continually gets stuck to the rugs in my car! The last 2 self-service bays have hand blowers to dry your car! There’s so much power behind those that I feel like a fireman trying to control a water hose. Lol. Love this car wash! I met the owner few days ago. He was very nice. Update: I appreciate the response however, it still negates the fact that my car was still dirty when I left. Regardless of which wash I choose, it should have been clean. I didn’t expect, nor did I really care to have the tires shiny. I live on a dirt road. But, I did expect the dust to be washed off.

The cloths for drying are always greasy and leave greasy shiny film streaks all over the car and windows. Also for the last 7 or 8 months the 2 first vertical rollers have been moved in closer to the vehicle path so the metal roller cylinders are literally less than 2 inches from the side mirrors and slams them in very forcefully every time. I pray every time they dont tear the paint off.
I drive an average size vehicle btw.

The best car wash I’ve been to used other car wash but not again lots of suds and the wheel cleaner is the best my car found it’s home lol and the attendance were very polite and professional in explaining everything about the car wash
Love this place. They have a b1g1 on the $20 wash . Free vacuum and mat washers. Plus they have a really cheap monthly unlimited that includes all the towels and armor all products you could need! All with a personal touch and someone standing near by in case you need something. Just a good place to go all in one clean your car. Only thing I think they need is a carpet shampoo machine
People that work here are awesome. Manager is a cool cat. Everytime I come in he stops to say hi as well as a few others there. Im in there at least a couple times a week so they make sure to take care of any concern I might have, if any. The 5 star wash seems to be better quality than the previous ” Magic Wash” . The products soap/wax that is used now seems to be a lot better than before. Its nice now that they have cleaning products as well as micro fiber towels that are provided now to help finish out your cleanup. I was buying packages of micro fiber cloths before to wipe down my truck after I went through the wash. Its nice not to have to spend that extra money out for towels to take in now. Overall good wash and cool people that work there.
People are very nice. It is more expensive than the last place that was there that had the same things.
Everything you need clean your own car right there (vacuums, window cleaner, inside cleaner, towels & mat cleaners). Just wish the office had easier access.
Used to be Magic tunnel which was great. Cars used to get clean in a single pass. Since Take 5 bought them out they exchanged equipment and chemicals causing huge degradations in the quality of wash and service from employees. Vehicles no longer come clean completely. Bugs do not come off during washes. Workers no longer brush the fronts of vehicles. Tires do not get tire shine as they used to. After waiting 15 minutes for 4 cars ahead workers cost us extra delay to go through 2x on occasions because staff did not press wash buttons so brushes ran dry against the vehicle. After workers told us we would have to go through again, there was nobody at the controls and not at the entry gates either. They were busy on their phones and gabbing as the line grew longer. I really wish the cars actually came clean but they don’t now. Even after only 20 miles of highway driving Take 5 fails to get bugs off. Sadly i must warn you that most other car washes outperform Take 5 hands down. There are 2 entry gates and rather than allowing stickered vehicles through one as they service another, only 1 remains open. Come on Take 5, give customers what you preach and what they pay for. Barboursville WV location as of 8-3-23 should be avoided period. Huntington WV has faster entry but it too suffers from the degraded wash itself.
