Had a great time in the Japanese Thriller escape room. Very challenging and the “ghost” added a fun element to the game. The host did a great job in setting the mood for the game in the warm up room and really put us on edge going in. We’ll be back to take on another game soon!

We did this as a team building event for work. I do not recommend going as a big group and with alpha type people. It was fun at first but too many in our group were over bearing. As for the room it was cool, I expected more of a super hero theme. Instead we were introduced to a detective themed room which was unexpected.

My wife and I took her sister out to try the Superhero escape room last night, and we had a blast. Fair warning, that room is billed as the hardest room they have, and it definitely was. We didn’t make it out within the hour time limit, we were told we got “about 80% of the way through”, but we still had an absolute blast.

The staff were all very friendly and hilarious. We’re already talking about going back again and trying more rooms.

    10/10

Had such a great time. We had the pleasure of getting Awnjenae. And she made the entire thing amazing. I’ve been to a few of these before but this was by far the best. Highly recommend.

The experience is awesome as a first timer we made it out 20 seconds before the time runs out. We went to Japanese Thriller Room it was scary the game is challenging overall it was a great experience. Cory was the best he’s really kind and awesome. Only 4 stars I wish there’s something to give to the players (maybe a small token, pin, lanyards or something cute or nice) as a souvenir or remembrance who those made it out on time. Overall it’s a must try.

Such a fun experience! We did the Lost Tomb of Cleopatra and Kevin was our game master! He added so much to our experience. He was very nice and funny! The room itself was full of puzzles and was very immersive. I would highly recommend it to any group looking for a fun time

Me and 5 of my friends did the Art Heist escape room yesterday afternoon, and it was so much fun! Such creative puzzles, and a great, easy-to-follow order of operations (if you catch on quick enough)! We escaped with 17 minutes to spare, and we WILL be back to try the other two rooms they offer. 🙂 We loved our host, I wish I could remember her name, but she was so pleasant and welcoming to us during our time there. Parking is easy because they have 14 spaces reserved for their location. I did see a ramp on the outside of the building for accessibility, however, I don’t think I saw an elevator to the second floor of the building where the Escape Rooms are! 🙁 I would call ahead of time to ensure there is accessibility, if anything.

That aside, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun time with friends!

  1. This was by far the best escape room I’ve ever been to!!! The games are so interesting and very unique. Royalty, Awnjenae and T were amazing!!! They make you feel so excited to play the game. Michael also explains each game thoroughly to help you decide which game to play. My family and I did 3 out of the 4 games while we were there. I highly recommend anyone living in or visiting San Diego to try this escape room! You won’t be disappointed!

  2. This was the single best escape room we’ve ever been to!! Me and my buddies go to a lot of escape rooms and this was the best by far, not only were the rooms really fun and interesting but the people who worked there are even better. It was such a great experience that we decided to do all 4 rooms they have, and we got a great deal. We had the privilege of working with Lily, Aiden, Michael, Jacob and Ale’jandra. They were so much fun and full of enthusiasm to help us with the rooms. In all honesty we can be a handful sometimes, and not only were they patient with us but were so kind the whole time. I definitely recommend taking ur business here, but even more than that, these specific people deserve a raise or some sort of promotion for giving us such a great experience!! I’m never one to write reviews but the service was unbelievable! Thank you so much to these people!!

  3. Tay was amazing well everyone was amazing actually. So helpful and sweet. They put up with me being all extra and called me most entertaining haha. Even gave us a deal for another game if we wanted to do another same night and we did. It was such an awesome experience 10/10 must do in San Diego!!! Definitely will be back to do the other 2 games and Irvine for their 2 regional games!

  4. We had a wonderful time here. Jacob and Eliza were amazing. We had just gotten into a fender bender right before the game and they were so accommodating. They offered to reschedule our time and even gifted us the board game and gifts with the most wonderful note on it. They helped make a bad day into a wonderful day that we will never forget.
Thank you again to Jacob and Eliza and the wonderful team at The Escape Game in San Diego.

  5. Had a great time at The Escape Game today for my buddy’s birthday. We did Prison Break which was the hardest room they offered. Worth the challenge! We made it with just a few minutes left on the clock and had fun solving the problems. Our facilitator was Lily and she was energetic and friendly with our group.
