Key Factors for the Best Gyms for Families

When considering the best gyms for families, there are several factors to keep in mind. Here are key aspects that make a gym family-friendly:

  1. Family-Focused Programs: The best gyms for families often offer programs and activities that cater to all age groups, from children to adults. Look for gyms that provide family fitness classes, parent-child workouts, or specialized activities designed for kids, such as sports leagues or swimming lessons.
  2. Childcare Services: A family-friendly gym should have reliable and safe childcare services available on-site. This allows parents to work out while their children are supervised by trained staff in a stimulating and secure environment.
  3. Family Memberships: Gyms that offer affordable and flexible family membership options make it easier for the whole family to join and participate. Look for gyms that provide discounted rates or customized membership packages for families to encourage everyone’s involvement.
  4. Variety of Fitness Options: The best gyms for families provide a wide range of fitness options to accommodate different interests and fitness levels. This may include cardio equipment, strength training areas, group fitness classes, swimming pools, indoor or outdoor sports facilities, and even recreational activities like rock climbing or trampolining.
  5. Kid-Friendly Amenities: Family-friendly gyms often have amenities that cater to children’s needs. This may include dedicated play areas, kids’ fitness equipment, family changing rooms, or accessible restroom facilities. These features create a welcoming environment for families with young children.
  6. Educational Programs: Gyms that offer educational programs related to health, nutrition, and overall wellness can benefit families. Look for gyms that provide workshops, seminars, or resources on topics like healthy eating, child development, or family-oriented fitness tips.
  7. Safe and Clean Environment: Maintaining a safe and clean environment is crucial for family-oriented gyms. This includes regular equipment maintenance, adequate safety measures, proper sanitation practices, and attentive staff to ensure the well-being of all family members.
  8. Family Events and Activities: Engaging families through special events and activities helps create a sense of community within the gym. Look for gyms that organize family-friendly events like fitness challenges, holiday-themed activities, or outdoor picnics to foster social connections among families.
  9. Convenient Hours and Locations: Family-friendly gyms should have convenient operating hours and accessible locations. This allows family members to fit workouts into their schedules more easily, making it feasible for everyone to participate in fitness activities.
  10. Positive Reviews and Testimonials: Before choosing a gym for your family, consider reading reviews or testimonials from other families who are members. Their experiences can provide valuable insights into the gym’s family-friendly atmosphere, services, and overall suitability.

Remember, the best gym for families will depend on individual preferences, the specific needs of your family members, and your budget. It’s important to visit potential gyms, ask for trial memberships or tours, and assess how well they align with your family’s requirements before making a decision.

Excellent gym for average joe. Like myself.

Weather is beginning to heats up, gym seems to be getting crowded at times. I wished there are more equipments so we don’t have to be waiting around that much. but it is what it is.
Staff is excellent. I notice few of the staff working diligently to keep the place running smooth. I think one of the girls name sky something, she is always picking up things and dusting. When she done doing that she keeps all the sprayers and paper towels stock. I hope she getting paid well, least she should get a raise. All these little things makes it positive atmosphere for a great work out. Nothing worse than to have to walk around looking for paper towels. Killing the pump.
Keep up the good work everyone. I think management do well to keep good employees around to run this place like a well oiled machine ✌🏽

Jake is doing an amazing job running this gym. He has staffed this gym with friendly staff. Ivy is my favorite staff person. She is always so helpful. She is always busy cleaning and maintaining this location. Both Jake & Ivy get my respect and kudos

I having a great time here at Planet Fitness , with the app it tells me how crowded the gym is and also with the QR codes i can scan them to know how to use the machines, there also works outs in the app and the people at the front desk are always nice courteous if I have a question. Very clean place .

This place used to be spotless and clean. For the last 4 months I have went in Planet Fitness, every trash was overflowing with garbage, the bathroom was a mess. All Trash bins on the gym floor were overflowing with trash, the bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned in a at least a week. All except one paper towel machine were out of paper towels. A few of the paper towel dispensers were broken and did not work correctly. The floor was dirty and there was trash and other items on the floor. All of the disinfectant bottles were empty. Overall, this place was in a state of disarray and was a complete mess for the last 4 months.
Previous to 4 months ago that this place was spotless and all the equipment was fixed as promptly as possible. It seems that the new manager and the new employees do not care that the Gym is dirty and is a mess. I will post a couple of photos below. I should have taken more, which would have been extremely easy because this place was such a disaster. It is obvious when employees and the manager do not care if the Gym is presentable to their customers and to the public.

Bathrooms could be cleaner and better stocked of toilet paper. But I did also go at the busiest times, so it could’ve been stocked well until the rush hit. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of space

This is by far one of the best gyms I’ve ever been to. The front desk is always helpful and very nice. The infrabody studio is definitely a recommended class to take. It helps with your inflammation, blood flow and if you have an injury trust me you will feel rejuvenated and restored. I recommend this gym to anyone and everyone who is willing to be the best of themselves! Again the BEST GYM IVE BEEN TOO!!!

It has very good facilities. I have trained here for several years. I have had 3 experiences that did not make me feel very comfortable. I think it’s because of the color of my skin, but I don’t like problems, so I didn’t care.
And the last time I was a member this month about paying my month, the truth is that I did not feel very welcome, it was not rude, but that was my experience there are other gyms that you can train more comfortably where you will not have bad experiences by skin color or being Latino

I love this gym! I joined at the top tier, at $149 per month. This entitled me to unlimited clases, including yoga and pilates.

This is an incredible deal! I loved all the classes, but especially the reformer pilates. The instructors were upbeat and knowlegeable. The workouts were varied and challenging, but they never made me sore.

Clean. Plenty of equipment all in good shape. I go after work (5) and it’s busy but not a zoo, you can still do what you need to do. Love the steam room, pool & hot tub! Locker rooms are nice too.

  1. I’ve been considering checking out this gym, but after seeing some of the incredibly rude and unprofessional responses to reviews from the gym itself, I’ve changed my mind.

You guys should be aware that your comments accusing people of lying, calling them ridiculous, correcting them about renovation costs, and others are proving the bad reviews’ points and turning people away before they even walk through the door.

  2. Love this gym. Great amenities.

One suggestion is to get a label maker for the equipment. Some machines are not labeled with a weight amount. A little dangerous.

  3. I referred a friend here and she decided not to join because of the bad reviews. So I had to take a look at them.

Most of the bad reviews are completely ridiculous.

My experience here is great. I’m down 45 lbs in the last month and a half. All the staff is amazing. I’ve had some great conversations with people and the fact that this place has a Steam Room, Sauna and Cold Plunge all at the same place is so awesome.

It seems that the people posting the Bad Reviews are a bunch of Karens who have nothing better than to moan and complain.

    This Place Is Awesome!

  4. European fitness they charge too much. They open too late. They close to early. This is crazy European fitness. Don’t go there. I’m gonna cancel in my contract. What kind of fitness they open 10 AM they close at 7 PM. Look like restaurant.

  5. The more bad experience in my fitness life is make a subscription in this gym and they don’t wanna cancel, the gym never open on time always the members wait also during the winter, the personal is rude and never know nothing, the equipment is broken all the time, the custumer service is sadly bad and rude, never make a deals with this ppl they don’t care nothing
