I recently moved here and I was excited to try a car wash, bought a membership there, I was a bit scared of running my car thru the brushes since I’ve always done touch-less, I should have known better from the other reviews please PLEASE AVOID this place if you don’t want to end up paying to get get your car scratched/dented. I paid for the membership and didn’t even get a FULL refund for canceling after this incident since they “aren’t liable” DO NOT GO THERE. Was definitely not worth it now I have to fix my car out of pocket. Definitely regret it. The more I look, the more damage it did, there’s A lot of scratches from the brush everywhere. No way I “hit something “ when you can clearly tell it was the wash. Car was not like this before I went thru.8 months agoThis was my first time getting my car a detailed wash here. They have nice schemes to avail with their annual membership. I enjoyed the free vacuuming service too. The suction was good and cleaned up all the dirt and food particles on the floor. I would definitely come back for their services in the future.2 months agoCar wash did not adhere to their marketed “$9.99 any membership for the 1st month” – charged me $24.99. I contacted them twice via their website and received no response. I then messaged to cancel my monthly subscription and they did not respond or cancel, leading me to have to dispute the charge with my credit card.Car wash is fine but they do not support their memberships or customer service.
Update 7/17/23. They have continued to charge my card for months after I canceled. Do not recommend at all.
2 months agoExtremely goated car wash, they leave my off road tires nice and shiny, perfect for my Jeep. Hiiiiighly recommend them especially when ya wanna keep your car clean everyday.4 months agoEasy to navigate, the wash was thorough, clean and the employees were friendly. Will visit again regularly. One of my pet peeves is poor suction but their vacuums had great suction. Red Jeep Renegade. Date of visit 5/17.

Horrible wash. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.5 months agoBEWARE !! I go to Tsunami Car Wash in Gurnee on Delaney Road all the time to get a car wash and haven’t had a problem until this past Sunday (03/26/23). After leaving the car wash my car was still wet as the dryers don’t work as well as they did when this business first opened and while going through the wash it was very loud a sound I had not heard before almost a thumping noise. After driving home I noticed dents on my drivers side hood. I called the business and spoke to an older gentleman. Explained to him that I had just been there and now have dents on my hood and scratches ( I should not have said “scratches” because they are more like “rub” marks) as if the arm mechanism had hit my hood I told him I did not have the dents before I went through the car wash and I was sick about it! He told me that his car wash does not use brushes so it couldn’t have scratched it and there was no problem with his machine and there was nothing he could do and hung up. It ended up being a very expensive car wash for me as I have to take my vehicle to an auto body shop to repair the dented hood !!

Simple $3 car washes are the attraction here, with added services available for added cost topping out at $12 which offers a rewash if used in 5 days. Free Vacuums with pretty good suction are also available. The service attendant personnel are helpful if an issue arises
Never in my life had they required me to make a tip in a car wash so that they could wash my car they told me that they were not going to wash it for me Just because it had some mud, that in order for them to wash it I had to give them more money than it is worth. The normal car wash is horrible the service I never imagined having gone to a place like this.
The manager was so disrespectful. after my wash I had a confrontation because he was short handed. I tried to sympathize with him, but he threaten to put me off the property. After I wash my mom car, I’ll pull back over and chat to have a conversation, but he threaten to call the police on me and the so-called manager by the way he refuses to give me his name but he said he was a manager. two minutes into the confrontation. Another guy comes out and told me leave before he called the police.(he said he was by self.) I used to give you a lot of business. Enjoy life, young man it’s not that serious.
The manager Pedro is very rude and unprofessional. I used to use this wash about twice a week but will be washing at tsunami from now on. I paid for the $12 wash this morning and was never given a receipt. I showed them where the money had been drawn from my account they claim to have no record of it. Once I asked to speak with management I was denied the corporate phone number and was asked to go wait in the McDonald’s parking lot. No. Just give me my money back at this point. I shouldn’t have had to pay twice for something I had already purchased and did not receive. All he had to do was to raise that gate and give me the wash I purchased but instead he wants to sit and argue with the very little English I could understand as he walked away and threatens to call the police. Weird
Don’t ever buy the $26 dollar car wash with the gift card. I tried using to buy and they wiped out my balance to zero. They won’t return your gift card money back!!
