  I have used many Club Car washes from Wichita to Kansas City. The one on 23ed st in Lawrence is by far the best. The best spot free rinse by far.

  Great place to get your car washed. I love the vacuumed to clean out your car. You can take as much time as you need. No pressure to hurry up. Friendly employees 🙂

  At first this place sounded great and was great, up until my first wash. Don’t get me wrong the employees are kind and cool and they offer free vacuuming and moist wipes for interior cleaning. My problem came when I got out of the wash after the first time thru after paying for my $35 (after taxes) a month elite membership. I came out and pulled into the gas station near by to admire the work only to find hundreds of scratches all over the surface of my car. The hood, the top, the doors everywhere. Some are bigger than others. I can only assume it’s from the bristles brushes that spin and hit your car or dirt and other particles caught up in the cleaning mechanisms. My car never had scratches before and I always used to use self service car washes before. It is unfortunate because I thought this sounded like a good idea at first but the scratches are very noticeable especially after a wash:( I’ll most likely be canceling my membership and wasted 35 bucks and damaged my paint job on my car:(. Not cool

  Customers take note: if they damage your car, you must physically return to the location within 24 hours of your car wash. They don’t have a phone on site. Calling the phone number sends you to the corporate office, and despite their signs saying you must report the damage within 24 hours, a phone call isn’t good enough. The corporate office also failed to tell me to return to the location within 24 hours, which wouldn’t have been possible for me. When I was able to go back, the young man who helped me was very nice. The corporate claims person, however, was very defensive and condescending. She clearly didn’t review the claim carefully as she referred to the damage as “markings” but damage was actually the tow hitch cover missing from my front bumper. Despite my providing all the evidence that I followed their policy, she continued to be dismissive. The part only cost $20.17 – less than some of their carwashes. Had she handled this differently, I’d still be a customer, but now I’ll never go back.

  This is the best mechanic shop in Lawrence. Rich is kind, honest, and an all-around great person on top of being a highly skilled car detective. I have been a customer for years, taken many different cars in, and always been pleased with the service. There are only two bays at the shop, so sometimes the wait list to get in is lengthy, but I assure you it’s worth it! These guys never disappoint!

  Good people, which isn’t something I always associate with auto shops. They helped me get my car running same night after an accident even after Triple A had screwed me over and they could easily have told me to wait until the next day. Also as someone who really doesn’t understand cars, it was a relief for them not to talk down to me or try to take advantage of my position.

  I had heard good things about this shop. I decided to take my 95 Ford F150 to diagnose my intermittent starting condition. The truck was at the shop for 3 days. Each day I called, the owner , Rich seemed to be unavailable(he was working on my vehicle). Each time I was told I would be called back. I never was, instead I had to continue to call. I finally got ahold of him, and we agreed to replace the battery(it needed one anyway). I told him that the starting condition was pretty easy to reproduce( it is), If anyone were to spend a bit of time on it. I don’t believe any considerable amount of time was spent on my truck, even though it was there for 3 days. He also told me to call back if I reproduced the problem and was stranded, and I did, only to be told by the cashier he would call me right back, which never happened. I never received updates, tests he said he would perform he did not, and the unreliability of the front desk person and the owner are the reasons I’m giving this shop 2 stars. I wish I would have had a better experience. I heard they were much better.
