Having been a business owner the most important aspect of a business is establishing trust with your consumer. I had my oil changed at this location on July 6, 2023. First, the recording outlining the services offered is at best misleading stating the price of an oil change being $49.99. Of course, as you find out, that is the starting point and can go up from there, and those prices are not mentioned in the recording.
Secondly, when the associate checked my lights I was told that all were working fine. I questioned about the daylight driving lights specifically and was told that the were working. I knew that was not the case because I the DRL light was on, on my dash and I had checked them prior to my arrival and knew they weren’t working.
Third, when given the list of items that were overdue on my vehicle since my last visit (mind you this was my first visit with this particular vehicle) I was told the antifreeze had a bad smell and was probably nearing time to be changed. But, less than a year ago I had a timing belt and new water pump installed on my vehicle with all brand new antifreeze. I suppose anything is possible to have happened internally in the vehicle’s engine to the antifreeze in the last year, but highly improbable.
And fourth, no mention was ever made of the air filter nor the cabin filter.
Sorry, but no trust established here.

It’s ok, but I find the service is impersonal. Sure it’s just a service center but I feel cars are a personal part of our assets. I’ve never had an issue with them at all but the focus always seems to be in and out. That’s it. So if you’re looking for a mechanic who’s going to look over your car, don’t go there. I purchased a car wash last week from drive and shine. The car wash literally broke my mirror off of my suburban! I pulled back to the entrance and demanded this be fixed! The female manager said she would take my info down and call me back after she reviewed the video. I never received a call back. Three days later I went back and demanded that this issue be fixed and the told my vehicle is over 5 years old and they would not be fixing their problem. I will be filing a small claims suit on Monday!!
We have a membership and get our car washed every few days. So worth the cost! Recently they have been running a $10 interior detail when you get a wash, and this is such a great deal! I love having a clean interior all the time! The staff is always very nice.
I just took my very dirty Jeep here to be detailed. After they looked at it and told me the price I was like man that’s a lot of money. But let me tell you when I got there to pick it up and opened the door I was so shocked I asked him if that was really my car. They are super nice and do a very very good job at getting a vehicle to look brand new. Well definitely be a return customer and world highly recommend.
Quick oil change on a high mileage car. Discovered a hose problem and went above and beyond to make sure my car would make it to the next oil change. The team of Justin, David, Brian and Ronnie were super helpful and very friendly. Highest recommendations!
I use to love coming here for the $30 oil change that is now only available to VIP guests. I am not interested in being a VIP guest, considering that I only come here for oil changes. That I am sure is going to change though due to the cost. Goes to show that these companies can AFFORD to sell at $30 but won’t unless you pay more money to become a VIP member, just so they can haggle you out some more money. Seems to be what almost every company is becoming anymore. Also I went to the Drive n Shine on ireland rd. 2 months prior to this visit. At the one on ireland rd they only told me one thing on the sheet was something that I should have done to my car. This location had almost everything circled on the sheet except for like 2 items. Make that make sense…if I came 2 months ago and only had one of these items and now I have all but 2 on the sheet within 2 months..then something just doesn’t seem right here. Seemingly another way to get my money??? Maybe. Should I try at another drive and shine to see if they say the same thing as to what needs fixed and compare from there??? I just may. But more than likely I won’t be back to get my oil change here because of the pricing. There are other places that offer oil changes at less than what Drive and Shine is selling them at. Granted you get a car wash “free” with an oil change, but anymore these automatic car washes scratch the hell out of your car.
