It loses one star because it’s a bit costly and it can take an hour or more to finish because they are always so busy (that’s a good sign).– “Ultimate Wash” $42 plus tip includes: – good exterior wash and dry, – really good interior vacuuming and clean up, – interior Armor All, works wonders, – Armor All on the tires.
There’s always a long line to get in, so go on the weekdays or early on the weekends. Google says they open at 9:00am on Sunday’s, that’s not true as they opened at 10:00am for me. I went in at 9:45 on a Sunday and was first in line. They didn’t start the drive through washer until 10:15am. I got out at 10:30am but In my experience, it usually takes about an hour to get in and out. Ton Sunday it took me 45 minutes in total but I got there 15 minutes before they opened.

4 months agoI’ve been coming here for about 9 years. Today I was motivated by the fact that I was due for an oil change, and that my car needed a wash. I was pretty disappointed today that my wheels were absolutely not even close to being cleaned. Just sayin.I don’t want to rag them too much because I will give them another chance. Later I went to Advance and got some foam spray and a brush and did it myself.
9 months agoI used to come down here and get my car washed but I think after today that will be the last time. Instead of even wiping down where the cupholders l, they just closed the top. I paid for the luxury car wash and honestly instead of the $50 I spend it should’ve only cost $20 considering the horrible job that was done. I am definitely regretting buying my husband $100 gift certificate to them. The one plus was the nice cashier.10 months agoCame here several times years ago, recently moved back and SO thrilled this place is just as good, if not better, than it used to be!I brought them a challenge today, SUV with lots of dog hair & bits of hay in the trunk (I have horses). I chose the Luxury wash and when they were done, it looked like my car just came off the sales lot. Would certainly recommend and will be returning!
5 months agoI just paid for the luxury wash, cost me over $50, and it was absolutely not worth it. I should have read the other recent reviews before I went. I usually go to Auto Shine in Dunedin and would highly recommend them, they do a much better job and for less cost.I had to send it back to be vacuumed again before I left because I could literally scoop crumbs off the back seat. Once I got home I proceeded to wipe out all my door pockets, wipe down my rear view mirrors, wipe down my screen and center console, none of which had been done. And there is still so much that needs wiped down and vacuumed. My entire back window is streaks. It’s definitely cleaner than it was, but it’s honestly still DIRTY. I paid $55 to leave with a relatively dirty car. I feel robbed.
I will definitely be back to Auto Shine in Dunedin next time.

All the stains on my front passenger seat are gone and my car is nice and sparkly again. Super happy with the outcome and the price. If your looking for a full service car wash Tommy’s large scale automatic car wash at this location is the one to choose.
Nice and fast – although Tommy’s is often busy, they are efficient at getting everyone through the car wash in a timely manner. And they have a team member at the beginning of the automatic car wash entrance to help guide you onto the vehicle track. From there just sit back and enjoy the show. LED lights often light up the interior of the car wash and make for a unique viewing experience.
They even offer free vacuums!
We opted to get a car wash and also purchased one of their little cleaning kits they provide for customers to use for detailing, outside by the vacuums. Thank you for the kind and fast service!
The wash is really good! Plenty of soap and Scrubbing wheels in automatic car washing bay, my Truck came out very clean. I also like the automatic Conveyor that moves the truck through the wash because it doesn’t require any type of hookup mechanism to the wheel! Great idea! Just roll up and go. Especially good for those expensive cars and trucks! This is definitely a really upscale automotive car wash. The only thing I can suggest is if they had complimentary towels and window cleaner and a air hose to blow out the debris like a lot of other car wash’s have now. However I will give the a thumbs up because the Automatic car wash is the best in town!!
Used to be my favorite car wash. These past 4x I have been the vacuums barely work. You have to jump vac to vac to find one with a decent suction. I’m not here to detail my car. Just give it a quick wash, vac & go on with my day. Today I did $12 wash and still came out with the same bird Poo I went in with. At one point I had the membership but chose not to renew for these reasons. There’s no way management does not know of the vac. Issue.
Car was still dirty after $16 wash especially front and rear. Other car washes typically have someone manually scrub these trouble areas, not here. A wash I use in Trinity has a pre-wash area where I can scrub the trouble areas myself with an assortment of brushes and cleaner. Other washes also provide FREE detailing supplies such as an air hose, towels and cleaners. Here you get a vacuum and the opportunity to buy a detail kit for $3.
Will just drive further for a better wash/ value.. lesson learned.
Also, don’t bother asking me to call you. I don’t want a refund, free wash or to listen to you promise to do better next time. There are too many washes popping up to bother with the bad ones.
Horrible! This is the 4th time I’ve gone thru getting the top of the line wash and my car comes out dirty. When I mentioned it last time was told “we’ll you can go thru as many times as you want” so I’m supposed to drive around in circles until car is clean? Much better car washes. Save your money. This time it’s like the back of my car didn’t get touched at all. Can’t wait to cancel $37 not worth it. Also vacuums are a huge joke. Head cones if the hoses , zero suction.
