5 months agoI just got a “deluxe” car wash and I had to clean my car myself afterwards. I was very nice to the man and asked him if they can please make sure the inside is really clean. He said ok. Didn’t think I was asking for much since I am paying for the deluxe service. Even if I just paid for the regular, the inside shouldn’t still be dirty. Also, this isn’t the first time my car has these weird scuff marks after getting a car wash here. If I’m paying for a service then I expect it to be done properly. Seriously they need to step up their game.9 months agoI love this place ! They do an excellent job! Before they do anything to the car, they tell you everything that needs to be taken care of! You can also tell they are God-fearing people, and treat you with dignity and respect. Can’t get any better than this. Wish I could give more than five stars. 🙏🏾 They always do better than a 5 star ⭐️ service.6 months agoI went there yesterday and had the worst customer service by someone called Joaquin. He was very rude, sarcastic, and did not have respect. I do not even think he was the manager to talk about how the business operates. On the other hand, David was very comprehensive and respectful, but the services was ruined already.a month agoThis was my go to car wash until today. I would bring my car in and the owner recognized me and my loyalty to the business and would get supreme treatment. Car looked great and the rain-x truly worked with the rainy summer we’ve had.Today, the manager was gone and some guy who was about 4’3 with an affliction t-shirt on was running things. He gladly took my money for a ritz but there was no glad on his face. My car ran through and I tipped the $10 I normally do as those guys are busting their butts in crazy humid weather. Here’s the thing though- I don’t send the money to tip bucket- I tip THE WORKERS, who are actually doing the job directly. They are doing all the hard work and I want to make sure it goes into their pocket, with no overhead.
They finished up the drying process and I drove off. I get home and my wife is like “what the hell is on the passenger side of your car.” I see soap scum everywhere on the passenger side. So I drove back to fair lawn hoping to get a quick rinse – nothing else.
I speak to the lawn jockey (LJ) in charge while the manager’s on vacation and LJ absolutely refused to run my car back in. Even though, I dropped almost $40+ tips not less than an hour ago. I didn’t get aggressive, didn’t get mean, just told him ” I’m here every other week and take care of the guys, I just want to run it through to get the soap scum off.” He says, “yeah you gotta pay. That’s looks like concrete.” Yeah, cause my wife and I construct buildings in our spare time. I hear one of the guys on the side say to his colleague in Spanish, “it’s cause we got tipped and he didn’t.” They’re absolutely right. That’s what happened here.
I’m not coming back here and it’s a shame because I’ve been a year-long customer and loved this place. The owner is a great guy and the workers from the folks outside to the young lady at the front desk are all awesome folks. One bad apple spoils the bunch. The owner needs to take the lawn jockey with the affliction shirt and keep him away from any customer relationship management.
a month agoVery convenient. Getting your oil changed and the car washed for free with oil change. Very polite and professional business. Top notch

a month agoDoes it look clean to you? Been here 5 times, with multiple cars, always something not right. Not coming back anymore.a week agoNot as great as they were. The guy who charges you for the wash is rude which I see reviews about him too. The good thing about this is the vacuums but it’s starting to become a waste because the low maintenance of them. There always clogged and you can never find an open spot with a good vacuum. Also the people who dry the car do it so fast that they miss so many spots.4 months agoNot impressed. Even for an exterior wash, my wheels were dirty after the wash and I paid for Armor All and they didn’t apply it. I won’t be going there again. I took my wife’s car to be cleaned for Mother’s Day. Looks like I’ll have to rewash in Ridgewood as they do a much better job.4 months agoThis is the best car wash. The monthly plan is so worth it. Under $30.00 for unlimited car washes. Can’t beat it. And they do a good job.3 months agoFriendly staff, vacuums are VERY strong, car wash is good in terms of getting dirt off the car. Staff is very good at drying the vehicles off at the end.

Okay so I came here by recommendation of a close friend who said they were good. My car went in dirty and came out Sparkly Clean and smelling fantastic! Very easy process and time efficient! So happy with how my car turned out! The staff was so friendly and accommodating from the moment you pull up, all the way to the front desk (fantastic service, Ashley helped me pick out an air freshner that suited me perfectly!) and even as you drive out! Talk about customer service! Not to mention, I had these stubborn wax stains that I left the dealership with and overtime, it accumulated a bunch of dust and dirt. WHOOPS! BUT they were able to get it all out and shine her up good as new! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Big Ed’s Car Wash to anyone I know. Well done everyone!
Very clean waiting area where you can car go through cleaning. The issue I have is that post the wash today my car has white spots all over my windows which means it wasn’t wiped well. Also expected more from interior cleaning when you pay almost $23 including taxes, the dash and doors had dirt and dust still on them.
They did an amazing job on my brand new car. Im super picky but big eds always delivers and they are super nice and professional. Tell them big mike sent you
After paying $55 for cleaning they broke my inside door handle on the driver’s side. The manager said it was already broken. Then how did I get out if the car in the first place? I watch them rush around trying to get to the next car. I took it to my mechanic who said it was not broken before.
$225.00 to replace. AWFUL PLACE. Small claims court here I come.
Website says they close at 7. I called at 5:49pm to ask a question and the girl told me they’re closing a little earlier today. I told her I could be there in exactly 7 min (I actually arrived earlier; within 5 min) , and if they would be able to wash my car and she said yes. I get there and they have cones closing it off. I ask the employees outside and they told me they were closed. I asked for a manager and they rudely ignored me and laughed. So I went down to their office and the girl I spoke to was there and all she could say was “sorry, I thought that they would be able to wash your car but they’re closing now”. You are an employee. That’s unacceptable. My husband and I were searching for a new car wash to go to since we moved to Hawthorne not that long ago. I would have been a 1st time customer. If that’s what they do to first time customers then that speaks volume of their customer service. I hate leaving bad reviews but they made me drive there with my 3 kids just to tell me they can’t wash it. Now I understand why they have a low rating. I’ll take my service to the CJ’s down the street. Their reviews show that they actually care about customer service.
