a week agoGreat car wash with nice people. It loses one star because it’s a bit costly and it can take an hour or more to finish because they are always so busy (that’s a good sign).– “Ultimate Wash” $42 plus tip includes: – good exterior wash and dry, – really good interior vacuuming and clean up, – interior Armor All, works wonders, – Armor All on the tires.
There’s always a long line to get in, so go on the weekdays or early on the weekends. Google says they open at 9:00am on Sunday’s, that’s not true as they opened at 10:00am for me. I went in at 9:45 on a Sunday and was first in line. They didn’t start the drive through washer until 10:15am. I got out at 10:30am but In my experience, it usually takes about an hour to get in and out. Ton Sunday it took me 45 minutes in total but I got there 15 minutes before they opened.

4 months agoI’ve been coming here for about 9 years. Today I was motivated by the fact that I was due for an oil change, and that my car needed a wash. I was pretty disappointed today that my wheels were absolutely not even close to being cleaned. Just sayin.I don’t want to rag them too much because I will give them another chance. Later I went to Advance and got some foam spray and a brush and did it myself.
9 months agoI used to come down here and get my car washed but I think after today that will be the last time. Instead of even wiping down where the cupholders l, they just closed the top. I paid for the luxury car wash and honestly instead of the $50 I spend it should’ve only cost $20 considering the horrible job that was done. I am definitely regretting buying my husband $100 gift certificate to them. The one plus was the nice cashier.10 months agoCame here several times years ago, recently moved back and SO thrilled this place is just as good, if not better, than it used to be!I brought them a challenge today, SUV with lots of dog hair & bits of hay in the trunk (I have horses). I chose the Luxury wash and when they were done, it looked like my car just came off the sales lot. Would certainly recommend and will be returning!
5 months agoI just paid for the luxury wash, cost me over $50, and it was absolutely not worth it. I should have read the other recent reviews before I went. I usually go to Auto Shine in Dunedin and would highly recommend them, they do a much better job and for less cost.I had to send it back to be vacuumed again before I left because I could literally scoop crumbs off the back seat. Once I got home I proceeded to wipe out all my door pockets, wipe down my rear view mirrors, wipe down my screen and center console, none of which had been done. And there is still so much that needs wiped down and vacuumed. My entire back window is streaks. It’s definitely cleaner than it was, but it’s honestly still DIRTY. I paid $55 to leave with a relatively dirty car. I feel robbed.
I will definitely be back to Auto Shine in Dunedin next time.

a week agoI have a Monthly subscription They started out being pretty nice. But now most vacuums don’t work well. My vehicle comes out mostly clean. The place needs more Maintenance and attention to detail. I swing through every day for basic vehicle cleaning. Rob and his team make sure that I have everything I need to make my vehicle look like I just drove it off the car lot. I would highly recommend getting a membership.I see some negative reviews from people with custom/specialized vehicles… The car wash is designed for stock and reasonably configured vehicles. This is not the wash to use if you have an excess of accessories on your vehicle.

This was my first time ever having my car detailed. I chose #4 and added on having the mats cleaned. Thank you so much! You guys did a great job. It was a bit busy, so I waited just under an hour. To be expected at a place with great service! So I didn’t mind.
I’d like to start this review by stating what a fantastic service this company provides. I live in Clearwater & continue to use Sunshine Car Wash as my go to for auto cleaning. Every single time I go I am greeted by Alabama. Over the repeated visits I make month after month I have become quite comfortable with pulling in for service & seeing her and her crew. I’m always pleased with the results of the service as well as the friendly & inviting attitude by this establishment. I will continue to use Sunshine Car Wash & would encourage anyone to go see Alabama for your auto washing & detailing needs. 5 stars!
I have been going here for a couple of years and was pleasantly surprised. However, the last 2 washes have been awful! For $30, I don’t expect perfection, however, I do expect to not have to return home to clean my vehicle I just had washed. The black pieces by my windows, they used some product that I cannot get off. I do not ever use armor all or any of the such. My vehicle is a 2019, very well cared for and only 20,000 miles. The inside of vehicle was somewhat vacuumed, the NAV screen & dash had dust, and the interior console area was not touched either time. Right before calling that my vehicle was done, the lady went around and was I using window cleaner on my vehicle surfaces for areas she noticed, although I guess she gave up as you can see what remains. I will be searching for another car wash and will recommend to others I encounter on a daily basis to not use this place. They would do just as well if they sprayed water from a hose and used a dirty rag to semi wipe it down. Very disappointed.
Sunshine Carwash did an incredible detail on my vehicle. If you are looking for excellent service. Everyone is so nice and friendly, and the pricing is reasonable. I will be returning. Thank you,

I took my car in for a full detail and Alabama greeted me at the vacuum station. She is like sunshine, always smiling and very kind. Then I proceeded to go inside to pay and Alicia was great. She called me when my car was done and was very professional. I’ve used Sunshine car Wash several times because of the excellent job they do.
