a month agoNew item alert: banana bread mini loaves and strawberry cakes. The banana bread has the first ingredient as bananas and comes as a box of 12. This stay fresh and are great for me commuting and for kids. The best value items at Costco: – gift cards for restaurants. You say 20%! – jalapeño cheddar bread, two loaves – maple syrup – sea salt (75% more savings than at a regular grocer and lasts a long time without losing freshness – the rotisserie chicken. (It also makes incredible chicken stock) – eggs. It’s the last and greatest place to get eggs.
5 months agoEveryone loves to save money! You can stock up and all kinds of things. From water to dog and cat food even cleaning supplies. They also have these really green rolled up Asian chicken salads with some type of dipping sauce. It’s kinda pricey but really tasty. They have gift cards and you save up to $20 when you purchase them. Their fruit is also good quality. The liquor store outside of Costco tho! That’s where the real savings are at!
2 months agoUsually like this Costco location a lot, however recently the produce had gonna down hill at all costco locations in the Houston area. Like why would you even put this out for sale? Pallets full of moldy berries!! Easier to just toss them before even bringing them out to floor.2 months agoStopped into Costco to check it out comparing it to Sam’s club. I don’t know why, but I just didn’t care for it. Seemed like higher prices, a lot of negative energy, stuck up customers and arrogant (and not helpful) cashiers/employees.in the last weekI recently had quite an unexpected experience while preparing my dinner. As I start to use the washed fresh vegetables I had just bought from the Costco, I noticed something out of the ordinary. To my surprise, there was a grasshopper nestled amongst the leaves! At first, I couldn’t believe my eyes. How did a grasshopper manage to find its way into my ready to use vegetables? While it was certainly an unusual encounter, I must admit it did raise some concerns about the quality control at the market. I’ve always trusted that the produce I purchase is thoroughly inspected before it reaches the shelves. The most surprise when happened that I took it back to Costco and the only thing they said was Sorry.

a month agoNew items alert: jalapeño cheddar bread on the bakery table and some killer banana bread. The first ingredients are bananas so you don’t have to feel guilty. Double Chocolate donuts and strawberry cakes too!in the last weekRUDE WORKERS!! I’ve been shopping at Costco my whole life up until this point, but today for the first time, I stepped in the WORST Costco ever and will never return. The worker names Maria slapped my hands and yells loudly at me while I’m just reaching for a sample, and because that was the first sample stand I stopped by, my mood was ruined. Checkout lines workers are Yelling at everyone to move, but employees are just standing and talking (not trying to manage the lines or anything) Ice machine in the food court is out for the third time at this location! At that point I just want to get out of there as soon as possible, and will ABSOLUTELY NOT RETURNING!2 months agoStore frequently has sample stations available with good variety of food. All items are always stocked, it’s a reliable place to shop. They always have good deals. The hot dogs are great. It can get a little busy but that’s a typical trait of any Houston store.a month agoSo happy about this banana bread new item. Half the sugar of cake bites and my kids like it better—more important I actually eat them.4 months agoTheir policy states that members must show their membership card when they enter the warehouse. BUT do they need to be so rude in implementing this policy?Apparently those not showing their card “are likely up to no good” as said by a manager of the store, a justification for them to enforce their strict entry policy.
Does this however justify why front door personnel exhibit an attitude akin to a bouncer at a pretentious night club instead of welcoming members to “their store”?.
Yet like a night club who gets into the warehouse without a membership card is unclear. The ” connected ” and friends of the bouncer or those fitting a particular look seem to get a free pass. There is no consistency and at times even though I have shown my Membership card I have Costco staff follow me around the store and demand further documentation. What kind of shopping experience is this?
With this type of alienating behavior it’s no surprise that Costco was featured in a dystopian film about the future!

How to Shop Smart at Costco: A Quick Tutorial Missouri City TX
Shopping at Costco can be a great way to save money, but it can also be overwhelming if you’re not familiar with the store’s layout and policies. Here are some simple guidelines to help you have a successful shopping experience at Costco.
- Get a Costco membership: To shop at Costco, you’ll need a membership. There are different types of memberships available, so choose the one that best suits your needs.
- Plan your visit: Costco stores tend to be large and busy, so it’s a good idea to plan your visit in advance. Choose a time when the store is less crowded to avoid long lines and checkouts.
- Create a shopping list: Costco offers a wide variety of products in bulk. Before going to the store, make a list of the items you need to avoid overspending or purchasing unnecessary items.
- Bring reusable bags: Costco does not provide free bags, so it’s a good idea to bring your own reusable bags to carry your purchases. This is not only eco-friendly but also saves you money in the long run.
- Bring a cooler: If you plan on purchasing perishable items like meat, seafood, or dairy, bring a cooler to keep them fresh during your trip home.
- Compare prices: While Costco is known for its great deals, it’s still a good idea to compare prices with other stores. Not every item at Costco will be cheaper than elsewhere, so do your research to ensure you’re getting the best value.
- Take advantage of the samples: Costco often has sample stations throughout the store, offering customers a chance to try new products. Take advantage of these samples to discover new favorites or get a taste before making a purchase.
- Check the return policy: Costco has a generous return policy, allowing customers to return most items within a certain time frame. Familiarize yourself with the return policy in case you need to make a return or exchange.
Shopping at Costco can be a fun and rewarding experience, especially if you follow these guidelines. With a little preparation and a keen eye for deals, you can make the most of your Costco membership and save money on your everyday essentials.

Costco is pretty much always incredibly busy at this location. I’d strongly suggest making sure you are able to take your time to shop and get through the warehouse for all you need. I’ll update more pictures during my next visit but at this moment, what stuck out for me was the Samsonite luggage that’s available.
This is the first time I’ve had the luxury to visit a Costco. It is very similar to Sam’s I. Terms of operations. Product wise, this location in particular see.s to cater to people who choose a healthier life style. Personally That’s the reason this place gets 5 stars. I was going to give it 4 simply because You can’t use your phone to scan and pay, but the upside of it is the organic options, beef and chicken instead of pork options. In terms of healthy variety I love it!
I had mixed experiences with their customer relations team. While the older white lady provided friendly and helpful service, I encountered issues with other staff members.Unfortunately, some employees, including one who wore a lot of gold ornaments, one young asian and tall white lady ( sorry i don’t know there names that’s why i describe like this way ) appeared less friendly and welcoming. It’s essential that Costco ensures a consistent and friendly customer service experience for everyone, regardless of their background.I believe in promoting equal treatment for all customers, irrespective of race or ethnicity. I hope Costco takes steps to address this issue and ensures that all their employees have the training and mindset to provide exceptional service with a smile.Costco, you have the potential to make every customer’s shopping experience great, so let’s work towards that goal together.
Costco is always amazing. I can walk out of there with three items and my bill is almost $200. That’s why I only go to Costco maybe once or twice a month. But overall I always have the best experience at Costco.
Associates walk around with a sourpuss face. Don’t get me started on the cashiers, they are the rudest people I have ever met in the retail business. They treat you as if you were cattle coming through those lines. They don’t even say thank you or have a good day. The tire department has the friendliest staff I have ever seen anywhere, however, to get a tire adjusted or to get anything done, you have to get an appointment and God forbid you miss your appointment because you have to wait at least a couple of weeks to come back. The staff in that department (tire) is exceptionally friendly and customer driven, but the system sucks all together.
