Self-Service Car Wash Prices in the US

Here is a price table of self-car washes in the US:

Type of Self-Car Wash Price Description
Basic Self-Car Wash $5 – $10 Includes washing, waxing, and vacuuming.
Comprehensive Self-Car Wash $10 – $15 Includes washing, waxing, vacuuming, and detailing the interior and exterior of your car.
Self-Service Car Wash $5 – $10 You wash your car yourself using the equipment provided by the self-car wash.

Here are some factors that can affect the cost of a self-car wash:

  • The size of your car: Larger cars will typically cost more to wash than smaller cars.
  • The level of detail you want: A more comprehensive wash will typically cost more than a basic wash.
  • The location of the self-car wash: Self-car washes in urban areas will typically cost more than self-car washes in rural areas.
  • The time of day you get your car washed: Self-car washes are typically busiest during peak hours, such as weekends and evenings.

If you are looking for a more affordable option, you can consider doing a self-service car wash. Self-service car washes typically cost around $5 – $10, and you can wash your car as often as you like. However, self-service car washes can be time-consuming and messy.

Ultimately, the best way to find out the cost of a self-car wash in your area is to call around to different self-car washes and get quotes. You can also use online resources, such as Yelp or Google Maps, to compare prices.

Normally they have heated water for the car wash, it wasn’t hot abd made it difficult to get tree sap off my car

I can’t believe I haven’t used this car wash before. I used to go to simonsons for 21 a wash and the ultimate wash here is only 12!!! My car was super dirty and in some spots still is where the salt was concentrated. That’s my fault not theirs. Still very happy with how clean my car is! Thank you!

I have frequently visited this establishment and usually the staff there is amazing and I make sure to tip. Lately the staff has made some changes and I feel like the car wash I choose is not what I get. I always get the ultimate because of the underbody wash x2. The last time I went I felt not all the jets were on and it wasn’t the same wash. Back of my head tells me that maybe these guys are ringing up a basic and pocketing the $2 difference. How would I know the difference unless I got out and checked. There are no lights signaling what one I got. I really do like your wash (or did) but I feel like unless there is some way I can prove I am getting what I pay for I am going to have to switch and would suggest others to do the same.

Yesterday I took my new truck in to receive a much-needed remote start. We already installed a remote start from the same location on my wife’s birthday. And that’s been over a year ago and I got to tell you that they install the equipment properly I have not had any issues or defects from my wife’s vehicle and I expect that my new truck can be remote started on those cold early mornings. Also technology changing so rapidly they have new remote starters that start every 3 hours or you can add an additional temperature sensor so you don’t have to start your vehicle through the night to stay warm. This is important to me because I don’t have a garage and my vehicles are in the elements all year round. I definitely recommend them and they do much more then install remote starters – check them out.

Ehhhhh I’ve kinda got mixed feelings about this place. They have done 8.5/10 on all the details I’ve brought them, usually missing small things like smudges on the windshield or dirt on the mud flaps etc.

My biggest gripe with them is trying to actually get ahold of them, as well as their actual staffed hours. Whenever I call, I have to call 4/5 times through the day until someone actually picks up the phone. As far as scheduling they are typically 1-2 weeks out which is normal and expected. However it seems like when they don’t have any more cars to do that day or have a cancellation and can go home early, absolutely everyone does. There have been 2 separate occasions where I have gotten the call of “your car is ready!” at around 11AM, and I tell them “I will be there at 4PM to pick it up” and I show up at 3:30 knowing they close at 5:30, and everything is locked up and shut down. I’ve hung around until 5:30 thinking they ran out for a late lunch or something, and called non stop thinking someone was inside and could answer, but I end up wasting hours waiting.

Overall, I’d give them a 3/10 but they are reasonably priced, and they do average work, they could just really improve their customer service side of things as well as having a call forwarding system to call the owner/ manager if nobody answers during business hours.

I have been using Chandlers Details Plus for twenty years. Four remote car starters. Our first one 2007 Ford Freestyle old Astrostart is still working and has never needed a second visit since install! Always has been great putting in your batteries. Today, I called just needing tips on the Astrostart Pro and he walks me thru steps and it’s done. So helpful. Service is great.

Two years ago, went and had my dodge ram detailed and it came out beautiful. I was so impressed. I like to have a professional detailer do my truck once a year. Took it there again and picked it up last night. Most terrible job ever. I called them up today and had to complain. They wan t ed to make it right and asked me to bring it back in. That would be fine if I had all the free time, but I don’t, he didn’t know what to do. Says something about management as I was waiting for him to take the ball and GG et the problem I em handled. I finally told him to keep his three hundred plus dollars and I wont ever be back. Now listen, I wanted it dtailed and it wasn’t, i could go into everything t hey did not do but really all I need to say is it was substandard work and they got paid. Do not do business at this Detail Plus. I only give honest reviews.

  1. I had brought a bigger vehicle here to wash. I wish they gave you more time for your money. The soap brush had very little soap in it. Over all not to bad compared to others.
They have small bays for cars and one large bay for RV size vehicles.
Doggy Wash Also. I tried it was fun.

  2. Large and spacious stalls. Easy to use equipment. Unfortunately the bill validators are very picky and would take forever to accept bills so it is just a waste of time (and $) if you’re mid wash and need to add on. They do accept card payments. Vending area could use an update. Overall, I still think Chalet can’t be beat— at either location.

  3. Pet wash is trash. Offers no way to clean up excess fur beside spraying down with the hose(have to pay). Not even a drain plug to catch all that fur. Just washed my dog there and the soap dail was off, tried to rinse my poor dog and all I got was MORE SOAP. After 30 minutes in there I had 7 left to dry a very soapy and very unhappy dog. The sprayer itself was bad. The pressure is WAY to high and only in one stream, takes ages to actually wash anything. Possibly would come back if the spray system was updated and fixed and if there was a better way to clean up after you’ve finished.

  4. We used the doggy wash station and it was great! Comes with shampoo, conditioner, rinse and blow dry! Also has other features like flea and skunk treatment washes. Has a groomers leash so it keeps your pup in place and only $10 for 15 minutes of whatever.

  5. I’ve tried This Place several times out of convenience. the change machine never works. I once washed my truck put a five in the machine of which you get a dollar a minute ran out of time had a $10 bill would need to change in the machine didn’t work so I sat there with a half wash car. The water is extremely hard and leaves really bad water spots. There’s almost no soap that comes out of gun and when you switch from gun to soap brush you lose about 20 seconds waiting for the soap to start coming out.
