We had an absolute wonderful stay here. We came in town for a pistons game. We were able to walk to the game as it was very close by. The staff here were wonderful!! It’s a beautiful building, additionally the rooms are great. We didn’t hear much noise from neighbors or the hallway like you do at most hotels, rooms were clean and had everything we needed. We will stay here again while in town!!

I normally never write negative reviews, however, I wanted to forewarn new incomers. This was my first experience at a top golf so I came in excited. My experience was was fun, but service was horrid.

Our server was rude to my group of friends and I for no reason. She gave us an attitude for not having a reservation even though there were empty bays all around.

Then after checking out, she charged my card a 20% tip without disclosing that there was automatic gratuity. When I asked, she confirmed there was automatic gratuity so I believed her. However, I noticed on my receipt, there are separate entries for tips and gratuity. Mind you my group did not buy any food or drinks. She tipped herself $16 for bringing out complimentary water bottles. Will never come back again.

Staff awesome, food good and overall experience great will be going back. It was 8 people we spent 340.00 including everything except rental space.

Meh. Unless you want to pay for all of your guests’ entire food and drink order, plus the $80/hr bay fee, as well as the included 20% gratuity, don’t go here. They do not split checks at all. Our party was the only party. After being denied our preferred time frame due to all bays completely booked! The service was slow. Don’t play Zombie DodgeBall. The ball barely registers on the display.

Service was terrible. Staff sat around the bar talking and didn’t get our drink order until 45 minutes into our 2 hour slot. When we asked if we could get service we were told we were “lucky” our server stayed over for our party because others called off that day. Games hardly registered anything and the overall environment was very stale. Won’t be back.

  1. I love the vibe and the golf. Food and drinks are really good. It’s a fun activity to go for with friends. We got the nachos, tacos , grilled chicken sandwich and flat bread. The nachos were different from the one’s from ash other places

  2. fun day with my husband and adult son. food was good and served fresh buy portion sizes were a bit underwhelming considering cost. staff was amazingly friendly and helpful.

  3. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Topgolf in Auburn Hills, MI, and I can confidently say that it’s a must-visit for anyone seeking an enjoyable day out. The staff are not just friendly, but they’re also attentive and clearly dedicated to ensuring a delightful experience for all their guests.

The facility itself is superbly maintained, boasting immaculate grounds and top-of-the-line golfing equipment. You can tell that cleanliness and orderliness are of the utmost priority here. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or a complete beginner, you’ll find that the environment here supports both practice and fun perfectly.

Their interactive golfing games are a fantastic way to introduce a competitive edge to your visit and would make for a memorable time, whether you’re with friends, family, or colleagues. The high-quality food and drinks served also adds to the overall enjoyment.

In conclusion, my experience at Topgolf Auburn Hills was outstanding. Its combination of friendly staff, pristine facilities, and fun-filled golfing activities makes it a place that I would highly recommend checking out. You’re guaranteed to have a great time!

  4. Fun place for a business or family outing. Looked like all the bays were full on a weekday! Games provide a competitive environment and good time. Variety of beers, chips and salsa, fries, wings, chicken fajita and other menu options kept us busy while others were playing!

  5. I had an absolutely terrible experience. I booked my reservation at 10am the day of. When I arrive I find out my booth is all the way at the end of the second floor. Every time I take a backswing I’m afraid I’m going to hit the wall next to my on my follow through. I asked the manager, whose name was Liz, if she would please accommodate us and move us to a different bay. She was going in circles about why she couldn’t move us. Every rebuttal we had she didn’t have an answer for but just “that’s not the way we do things here”. All we wanted was to be moved to a different bay. Not to mention the rubber tee was so low you couldn’t hit a driver off the mat. It was like driver off the deck. This place is absolutely terrible. They also put the $54 fee for the bay on the bill and expect you to tip the waitress based on the length of your game AND your food and drinks. I will not be returning to this location and will probably never visit a top golf again. Absolutely horrible. 0/10 all the way around.
