Shelves were understocked and in disarray, yet somehow the only available workers were stocking shelves. And had no idea if or where missing products were in stock. Checking out has become the anchor that may one day sink the stores: how is the single most profitable consumer retailer in the world trying to save a few dimes by making everyone check themselves out and only having one employee there to check IDs or do overrides. I had a weeks worth of groceries and waited in the line for self checkout for 20 minutes, only to finally reach the carousel, and have the one employee tell me I had too many items (20+) to use self checkout. I protested that there was no sign saying that anywhere and only three registers were lit. His response: “it’s a new policy we just implemented”. Terrible customer service. So I wandered halfway across the store to the one open, non 20-item-limited checkout and the line was extended to the middle of womens clothing; children were sitting and playing on the floor, they had been there so long without movement. It took an additional 35 minutes in line to finally reach a considerate employee. He was pleasant and expressed that this happens all the time now, and hasn’t been his worst night this week. Outside this Wal-mart one would not think this is the same store. The blue logo is the only reason I knew it was Wal-Mart. I walked to the store and came from the side and saw all brick with no blue until I saw the logo.
Quite busy as this seems to be the only grocery store close by.
Needs more employees as the aisles were dirty and cluttered with packing boxes and items on the floor. Shelves were in disarray. Employees are not helpful or friendly. I had a question and this employee ignored me and stayed on his personal phone.
Checkout area had maybe 4 open lanes with actual cashiers. Otherwise on opposite ends, you have the self checkout where the lines were very long on both.
The brick walkway outside the front doors are so beautiful. It enhances this location like non other.
You can find the normal items and areas as the other Walmart locations. Such as the deli, pharmacy etc.
Also North Carolina team clothing are available.
Store employee named Marion- give that employee a raise! We were preparing fruit gift baskets and needed cellophane large bags take them look professional. She continued to look for them after we had all given up. She found us in the store after 10 minutes with the last two bags! That meant we were able to do all of our shopping there without rubbing to a craft store!! Thank her for us!. We so appreciated her efforts♡ we got the baskets/fruit/ ribbon and cellophane wrap all at Walmart!!
Definitely one of the better locations for the Walmart chain. Very clean and organized. Plenty of employees and the store front shows priorities. Some are better than others, this is some.
I went to Walmart with my child today, and this guy was terrible. He was rushing me to keep things on the register as I was hurting my arm. I asked why he had to rush me because I was trying to keep things, and he replied I didn’t have time. He was awful and disrespectful.
I asked others if I could get a manager on duty, but no one helped me at Walmart.
This Walmart’s customer service is going far too bad.
