a month agoIt’s great to see people proud of their work. And that’s what it appeared this crew had: pride in their work. The did a great job9 months agoLast few times I went there to get my truck and trailer washed they missed so many spots, horrible wash, I spent $130-$145 every time I go there waste of my hard working money, I usually never write bad reviews but this is not the first bad wash. Never going back there again!!! Here are some pics unfortunately I can’t find the trailer doors pics but they didn’t wash my reefer trailer doors at all!!!a month agoThe wash itself was good. They seemed pretty thorough, and what appeared to be a supervisor/manager was inspecting the work with a flashlight as the crew went along cleaning. He was friendly enough. The only complaint I have is that it is a single bay as others have mentioned, and the wait time Was quite long. I sat for about an hour, and there was may be only 5 to 6 trucks when I pulled up. Maybe another solution would be to build an exit at the end of the first turn when you’re in line. That way, if you get in line and realize it will take too long, you can get out and leave, as it is now once you go in line, you’re just stuck.8 months agoAbsolutely pathetic wash, you need to teach your employees how to use a brush or how to use a power washer better. The truck is not even clean. This is why i dont pay for the extra stuff, blue beacon cant even get it clean on a basic wash.7 months agoThese guys work really hard. They just need 2 bays for the volume of trucks they do. I have to go like 4 in the am to be in and out. However, I’ve also waited as long as 2 hours. Just FYI, if you see more than 4 trucks in line, just plan on sitting for about an hour.

2 months agoBig giant pothole as you exit the building from getting your car washed and windows missing in the door. I wonder how they take care of their equipment if this is how their property looks.8 months agoI paid for the $25 wash. Several of the brushes were not rotating, the quality of the wash was equal to me spraying it off with hose at home. I don’t mean hand washing my car, no just spraying with water. Not worth going back to have a rewash since the equipment is clearly broken. You would assume that regular, maybe hourly or every few hours making sure the equipment was functional. Thanks for keeping me squeaky clean.2 months agoI use Zips regularly. I have an account. When I started this over a yr ago I lived in Edwardsville. No problem there. Now I live in Granite City and at both locations I have not been happy. For one thing I have left the location by Pontoon 3 times with soap still on my car. And the one near my house barely gets the driver’s side of my car with the presoak. Let alone my passenger side never does.a week agoBrandon was very nice but the car wash and vacuum was not good at all so i will not renew

I paid for the Get it all $25 wash. Got 1/2 the car wash. Only driver side got somewhat clean. Brush on passenger side didn’t even touch! Back end of car 1/2 is still dirty!
I’ve been a member at zips for about a year and primarily use the 162&111 location. This morning Justin came over and asked me if i needed any help, was personable and very nice…he sprayed down my truck really good before I went in the wash. (most other attendants do not do this) I was really debating if i wanted to keep the membership or not because it’s not been the best experience for me lately but Justin made a great impression today.
To be perfectly honest, my husband and I have been considering leaving Zips Membership. When we first joined, the person guiding you into the wash, ALWAYS sprayed your car down, to help with the bugs. They always treated their customers with care and attention. But, now, that is a rare service, anymore. Now, probably 90% of the time, they guide us in and then just stand and wait, for the next car. We have been missing the old Zips attention to detail
Today, Justin was AMAZING!! He was incredibly friendly and sprayed my car down, with particular attention, to the heavier soiled areas. I certainly hope that other employees will follow his great example. He has completely restored my faith in Zips! Thank you, Justin!!
This place used to be really nice. It has gone down hill lately. There is garbage all over the place, the price went up because towels and spray bottles were “provided”. They have been out of spray bottles for over a month. I contacted someone on Facebook about this over a month ago and was told “thanks for bringing this to our attention” The employees are lazy and don’t pre spray your car 75% of the time. The membership scanner works horribly 80% of the time. The vacuums are clogged with garbage and work poorly.
This the best car wash place ever! Equipment always works, the personal are friendly, they always have those nice clean towels, finishes Car. The black cloth has enough polish make it work like wax
