2 weeks agoFair price for a wash at $10 – maybe after two washes their monthly plan is worth it but the single wash is great. My roommate said “this is the cleanest your car has been in years” thanks? I think. Anyway, solid place for a quik wosh.8 months agoAs an unlimited member now for over 3 years, every time I go for a car wash here there is hardly ever any vacuums available. There is only 4 vacuums and people cut in, despite others patiently waiting. Now Jiffy Lube has also coned off the waiting area— causing even more congestion. For such a busy location adding additional vacuums should be considered, maybe at the front entrance and add a member to regulate those who cut in…3 months agoFor the most part they’re really great. But they have a habit of having problems and things they need to fix. Which really hurts when you are paying money to get your car washed and the under car Wash does not work or the tire wash does not work or the chamois style dryer just stands there and spins above your car and does nothing. Not to mention the fact the high-powered rocker washer never works. And we have been to over a dozen different Mister car washers and they all have the same type of problems. Somebody needs to figure this out.a year agoI pay for a monthly subscription to Mister Carwash and over the last almost 2 years it’s gone further and further downhill. I understand they likely had to let go of employees during the peak of the pandemic but I frequently see 4-5 people out front checking cars in and since they no longer have people wiping down cars after the wash, you leave with your car looking about as bad as when you came in. I think it’s time to stop hoping it’ll get better and just cancel my subscription. These photos are literally right after I left the car wash. Randomly through the car wash my windshield had developed a crack—whether it was from the hot soapy water hitting my AC cooled windshield or some accident from a rock coming off another car I don’t know. Shiny shell within the week had set up an appointment to have my entire windshield replaced. The assistant manager Tristan Rogers was the only one I spoke to—he handled everything in a super respectful superb manner. 10/10 the best car wash in the valley—not just for the wash—but the high caliber of people that work here and will make things right. They 100% have my business!in the last weekI am from out of town and decided I needed to wash the vehicle before I returned it. I looked at other reviews for other locations and none of them looked promising. Shiny Shell Car Wash had GREAT reviews. I now see why. It took less than 5 minutes for the whole process. Thank you!a year agoWow I have driven by here a bunch of times and always see the vacuums full and cars in line. Decided to drop in today and this is a fantastic car wash. The staff was great, very friendly and informative and the deluxe level car wash was amazing. Very nice vacuums with both a carpet and crevice head plus compressed air to blow out the jams and trim. They also provide micro fiber towels with spray interior cleaner as well as window cleaner. It looks like if you buy a membership they have a playground and a lounge inside with sodas and other drinks. I highly recommend Shiny Shell Car Wash and will definitely be back.3 months agoThe man providing car wash passes was sweet and let me know the best deals, he was v informative. I chose the cheapest wash which was $12, it included vacuums, air gun, microfiber cloths with all purpose cleaner and Windex. They also gave me a dashboard cleaning towelette and a new car scent smelly thingy.I used their vacuums for an hour and about 13 microfiber cloths. There are plenty of spots for everyone to take their time detailing their own vehicles. My car absolutely needed it!
My roommate made comments on how clean my car looked after. He said there were stains removed from years ago, he was truly impressed. Couldn’t have done it without you guys, thank you Shiny Shell!

The customer service and policy is HORRIBLE! The car wash ripped off my side mirror. I was told I needed to talk to a manager to file an incident report and they will review the cameras to determine what they will do. They went in to the car wash to retrieve my broken pieces from my mirror. As they came back and informed me they reviewed the video and HANDED ME MY BROKEN MIRROR, per their policies they won’t do anything. The manager explained that they have a sign that explains they are not responsible for ANY DAMAGES TO ANY VEHICLES. I asked to see the sign and they showed me the sign is right after you already pay for the was in small print. LET THIS SERVE AS A WARNING! Pay the extra few dollars to go to a bigger franchise that have better customer service values!
I pay a monthly membership at Rocket Express. Back on April 30th I got a car wash (Midvale location) and during the wash I felt/heard a loud thump but did not think anything of it until I returned home I realized that my Jeep emblem was completely broken off (see attached photo). I tried calling them multiple times a day for a week to no avail. I couldn’t even leave a voicemail because their inbox was always full. I even tried contacting other locations as well but it was the same outcome. My dad ended up having to go in person for me and spoke with the general manager. He explained what had happened and was told they would reach out to me but I never heard anything. I emailed the general manager at the email he provided, but it took me sending 2 emails and then an additional email from my dad in order to get a response to which he just said they “were not able to locate the emblem” and that was it, I was not offered any other resolution. I have since emailed a couple times regarding my concerns and a quote on the cost of replacement, and even offered a cheaper solution to where they can reimburse me for the cost of a used one and I can replace it myself. Unfortunately I received no response. My dad emailed again as well and still nothing. It’s been a month and a half now with zero accountability or resolution. Very disappointing experience, especially considering I pay a monthly membership fee which I have now requested to cancel. I understand that these things can happen, I just wish they had they been willing to come up with a solution instead of dodging my emails. Just goes to show the lack of professionalism and decency.
Asked associates to assure my rear glass gets cleaned.. he said he’d get in trouble… the middle of the back glass did not get cleaned.
First off, I went to CJ’s premier car wash and let me tell you it sucked. That’s a story for a whole different review but I saw it and thought I’d try it out and regretted it. I then came to Rocket express and not only did they had great customer service their vacuums worked great and my car has never been cleaner! It was my first time using them and I am a forever customer now! Great job guys!
Hey, had a damn terrible experience at your car wash yesterday. Got there at about 8:45pm, last minute, I know, but your folks obviously were pissed at the late show. I dish out extra for the premium membership, you know. Entered the car wash, and what do I know, no frickin’ soap! Felt like it was deliberately turned off. To top it off, starts vacuuming my car, exactly at 9pm your employees kill the switch, while I’m still using it! Don’t let us in if you can’t provide the service. Been patronizing you guys since 2017, but what happened yesterday ain’t cool. Horrible customer service I must say. The ladies at work were just flat-out rude! Rating your services a big fat one-star for yesterday, a colossal let-down. 🤬
