I’m sitting here waiting for grocery order pickup, checked in over half an hour ago on the app, called the number multiple times since, it’s going to vm, left VM, nothing. Says order is ready an hour ago. Wasting a ton of time right now. Walmart was running late yesterday so we had to reschedule to today while Kroger was running like normal yesterday. Also, they’re loading people that showed up 20 minutes or more after I did. Sure, running behind is one thing, but how about serving people in the order they get here? Adding some photos now at 40 minutes. Only one other car here, they got here way after I did. 45 min finally got someone on the phone. They said they’d bring it out, Then another car showed up, order brought right out for them, nothing for me. 50 minutes later groceries being loaded.

What a huge well stocked store! The self checkout has workers in the area but they talk to each other instead of being attentive to customer needs. We visited here 3 times in 2 days and all 3 times we observed this behavior.

It’s Wal-mart, need I really say more? Ok, fine. Surly door people, even more surly self-checkout monitors, and 2 regular lanes open put of about 30 or so. God forbid you decide to try and go through a regular line. You’ll have multiple birthdays before you get done. I only go when I absolutely must.

Today is a beautiful sunny Easter Sunday. I walked in with my friend to get a bottle of Wine and a couple other snacks for this evening. As I approached the register a very kind voice called out from behind me, “That won’t do!! That just won’t do sir!” I turned around to see what the fuss was about. The lady manning the self check out was looking right at me and explained that there was a law in place not allowing wine and other high content alcohol to be purchased on certain holidays, And Easter is one of those days. A day well known for communion and I am not allowed to purchase the same beverage as Jesus drank on many occasions? I was dumbfounded. Not even upset with the nice lady at checkout but with the store for not marking the Wine and Sangria sections as unavailable today. Not even a little sign was up. I ended up leaving with the last 6 count of Yee-Haw Dunkel beer instead of the nice Cabernet I had hoped for. In the future I do hope that they at least mark off that section so that other patrons don’t end up carrying around unnecessary bottles and then have to head all the way to the back of the store as I did.

They fail to have a register person in the garden area. I had to drag wet mulch through the store – only to find 1 available register open. Waited 20 minutes due to waiting for price checks for plants. No one was back there to find a price. The lady finally gave up and left her plants behind. Where is the manager during this??

Store is well stocked! Assortment of goods and the checkout ailes are not too crowded! The surroundings remain clean and orderly and so is the inside of the store

Ordered my daughter 1st birthday cake few days before her birthday went to pick it up on 4/15 had to wait 20 mins after the time it was suppose to be ready when I opened it was rushed and looked thrown together bubbles all in the cake . 1 Week later went back to same walmart to grab some stuff standing in self checkout and woman in front of me needing assistance and employees was to busy talking and laughing to each other to help her. Hire people that want to work

Walmart not only refuses to take responsibility for a class 3 leak after an oil filter. When you ask for the store manager. The phone just rings then eventually someone picks up and hangs up. It looks like I am going to have to have the vehicle towed to a real mechanic to fix them jacking this up!

Getting very tired of after doing ur shopping only to find waiting in line forever to check out. Only the extreme two ends on self checks open again… with only one employee manned station open. Does this incompetent management know how difficult it is to self check a full cart at the mini self check, When is this company going to wake up and start surving the customers that keep them in business? How bout putting the employees seeming standing around doing nothing behind a cash register !!! There thankfully are still several smaller food stores that appreciate the customer and I suggest finding them and spend your dollars there.

Apparently they are having issues with food product safety. Not only was there a lot of bare shelves buy the food that was left was already expired. I have a picture of a moldy orange that was the worst of it. I’m posting this review because of that; those mold spores could already have contaminated the food it has been near. It is already reported to the health dept by a friend of mine who was with me. Be safe and check labels/conditions.

  1. I was standing by the money services and literally watched 2 people walk up to the self check station, scan one item of their cart full and wait a minute pay and leave. No bags were used. 2 emloyees on their phones paid no attention.
Yep Walmart you are saving money with self check!

  2. K S Reply

All the registers are down have to love self check out mess.. I will never like self checkout. I will say I would give the ppl in the pharmacy I would give 5 stars

  3. Too crowded most of the time-just a local perspective. Best time of the day to shop is early morning honestly …..also, do NOT depend on the app or website for what they have in stock 9/10 times it isn’t right….one more thing, if you want to get curbside pickup you’d better plan ahead a couple hours because they tend to be behind most of the time and you could be sitting for over an hour waiting….just in my experience which has been quite a bit as a local shopper and working for DoorDash as well.

  4. Very clean, just beware. There are people in the commons area ready to sell you stuff for all the attractions in Pigeon Forge. Sometimes, they can be a little force full. My family just ignored them, sents we already had tickets for our vacation. The walmart was very clean and nice. It was close to our hotel so it was just hop skip and jump down the road. The employees answered all of our questions. My family and I will be coming back when back on vacation.

  5. This was a nice store and was processing a good amount of customers. There wasn’t anyone at the service desk when I got there, but they got someone to come up and take care of the 3 or so people waiting at the service desk.
