5 months agoFriendly people, clean restrooms, but no gluten free items outside of bananas, almonds, and the like. When I asked once they said corporate said it would be more expensive to label then sales would justify6 months agoBought a cup of hot water that was supposed to be coffee. Sad. All those machines are apparently too hard for the employees to keep full of actual coffee. I guess u have to scald yourself & taste before you leave the store. Or get coffee somewhere else.2 months agoI’m never disappointed when I visit a Kwik Trip. Always clean and the staff is always friendly.a year agoThe staff was super friendly, and answered all my questions about getting a car wash. The car wash was a bit lackluster though. For 11 Dollars, the Elite Soft Touch Wash wasn’t able to get all the salt spots off the side of my car, (There were just a few faint ones left) and it also bent my decorative front license plate. Checking beneath my car though, the underbody flush seems to have worked well. Price wise, I think that this wash does stack up to the local competition though, for what it offers.2 years agoConvenient location. Open 24 hours. Nice selection of items. Sub-par car wash; doesn’t get your car clean like it should and is missing features that other car washes have.

4 months agoWash place was nice but I got charged $20 dollars on my credit card for a self service wash that was 7mins then I had to read the sign for sec to figure out how to hold the card button to turn it off. What is the price of ur wash and how much time do I get? First time there if u want my business again I need an explanation for this charge.6 months agoIt’s a great clean place but $5 for 4 minutes is pretty stiff.2 years agoGreat service! We had an issue where the wash timed out; once we found the phone number, we were refunded. Thank you!!Edits: found the number to call inside the vending area, and we were sent a rebate for the wash, which had timed out. Helpful: don’t pay for a wash until you have scrubbed the bugs off your car… paid for a wash, drove in, and then the wash mechanism made loud noises without doing anything to our car. No suds, no rinse, nothing.
2 years agoWe get yelled at for washing our boat and there are two race cars and 4 wheelers taking up both bays really4 years agoAlways clean, vacuums, car washes and coin machines are typically all working. I have regularly seen workers changing out the bug wash and maintaining the wash bays. Wish they had credit card options for the self service bays, but change machines are available.

The manager raised his voice when I asked repeatedly why they put the wrong oil in. Then he goes into my car without asking and pulls my owner’s manual out and fails to find a oage justifying putting the wrong oil in. He told me changing it was a waste of time because it wastes oil. The kind he put in is thicker and gives me worse fuel economy. Even says so on the page in my manual he couldn’t find I don’t appreciate being treated like I’m stupid when I did my research before calling them out on using oil that’s different than what’s written on the oil cap because his computer told him so. I expect an aggressive response like you gave any other bad review
When I first started going here 4 years ago I was impressed. They were able to get my truck clean. After the wash upgrades they can’t seem to get it clean anymore(they quit power washing by hand). When I asked the manager became hostile saying that that’s what all the other car washes are doing the same thing. Even though the same employees are working the same position. Moral of the story if you have a bigger vehicle take it elsewhere.
I’ve been a customer at Gilmore Av. Car Wash for many years. I have an annual car wash and love it. I also take all the vehicles from my employer there when they need to be washed. The employees are great, very friendly and efficient.
I also think the owners run a very efficient and successful business.
Very friendly employee and a great car wash. Free made it even better.
Overall car wash was good. Car is black so it was necessary to wipe car down with towel to remove streaks. Thanks again!
