The best Tesco! They have everything, open until midnight plus the prices are really good, cheaper than Tesco Express. They also offer some products for Aldi prices, which is known for its low prices.

Really great place to buy groceries, especially if you are on vacation. The main entrance was closed when I went there buy, it was open. I had to go through the parking garage/area to enter the store. From cases of water, cookies, wine and liquor, there are a variety of foods here. I highly recommend stopping here for groceries. I bought a six pack of water, much better price that paying for more at your hotel.

I loved this store and was a regular customer. About once a week I made big purchases. But suddenly I got a £100 fine for parking. , it turned out they changed parking hours from 2 to 1:30. For such a large store, this is a problem. No time to choose, you have to run and quickly buy strictly according to a small list, leaving time for checkout and loading, in general, very nervous and unrealistic. I don’t want to pay £100 fine for my purchases

Very large, lots of parking, easily accessible by bus, bike or on foot. Santander bike rack across the road. Staff are polite and helpful. Good selection of products. Customer toilets are available and they are clean and well maintained. A very handy local shop.

BEWARE!!!! After years they have decided to change the maximum parking stay without displaying any large signage or warning, only the small text on the original signage has been changed. For years I’ve been enjoying a coffee with scone at H&H then slow strolling the aisles for my weekly shop spending close on £100 every week, but recently I received a parking fine for £100 because Tesco changed the parking stay without properly warning customers. Absolutely appalling, Tesco management should be ashamed of themselves. I will not support Tesco anymore after this! And don’t even bother trying to question anything because it’s impossible to speak to anyone at Tesco or Horizon parking, you simply cannot get to speak to a human being. It really is high time that we start supporting small local businesses rather than these soulless corporations that see you only as an ATM.

  1. Double check that club card prices shown on price tags get applied at checkout. Had two different items during one shopping that did not apply the club card discount and paid the full price. I wonder how many times it happened before…

  2. Had a worker stand behind me as I was scanning my items because she assumed because of my race I would steal. I spend £70 on a few items and she still accused me of theft but failed to provide any evidence. Staff in general at this Tesco are rude but the store has all your needs.

  3. Large store, cold fresh fish counter, world foods, electrical products, clothing, stationery with comprehensive selection of cards gift bags and wrapping paper and bags. Plenty of parking spaces petrol and diesel on sale.
Pleasant cafe toasted sandwich, cake and biscuits good coffee selection.

  4. Was in the area and pleased to see range of Halal foods (my local Chelmsford store doesn’t) so took the opportunity to buy some pasties. When at home noticed one (bought 28/7/23) was dated ‘use by’ 24/7/23.
So, check what you’re buying – poor stock rotation.

  5. People walking about inside vaping in the aisles, cashiers that spend more time talking to customers than putting items through the tills, keeping others customers waiting because their conversation is way more important, people utterly blocking aisles with trolley’s while they chat, personal shoppers who leave their trolleys blocking everyone else’s access to items, yep it’s a truly outstanding place to shop!!!!!
