  1. I like to explore and find things in comparison to stores and restaurants. Between Costco and Sam’s Club, I prefer Sam’s Club.
I waited to visit Costco to get a better look at the store itself without it being too crowded.
The customer service was great but felt a little rushed. Products were good and similar to what Sam’s has but Sam’s provides more selection. However it was difficult getting around Costco as there were no indication of what aisle you were looking for or walking into. Had to walk back and forth quite a bit. Prices are great on both stores, really no complaints about that.
As for the food selection, quality, and service after you check out, Sam’s takes the win. I did enjoy the self service of ordering your meal and getting a number for pick up, BUT initially waiting for your food so you’re not in the way of departing customers was a little messy. There are not a lot of tables to sit at compared to Sam’s.
I understand everybody has a preference. In my opinion, I’ll stick to Sam’s Club.

  2. We were traveling from California to Florida when we urgently needed new tires. We couldn’t find the right kind in any Costco in Colorado. But when I called this Longmont store, the tire center worker Matt who answered the phone was so helpful at the moment when we almost lost hope. He spent time looking for the tires in all surrounding stores unsuccessfully and after that he offered a solution of finding different tires that would still fit our Honda Civic. We were able to get an emergency appointment and even though it was a 6 hours drive and out of our projected path, we drove to this particular Costco. And when we arrived, we had the most warm welcome. They were waiting for us, the tires were ready. The team took the vehicle right in and the installation was quick and competent. But the most important part for us was the way we were treated by the Tire Center crew: we knew that we are in good hands and felt very relieved and grateful to be treated so well! I especially want to thank manager Jake. During our long and complicated journey that was definitely a positive and most memorable highlight of the trip. Giving you guys 5 starts. THANK YOU.

  3. It’s ok. I like the Costco on Highway 7 better. This Costco doesn’t have as many choices. Plus I don’t like it when they offer something and you like it, so you go back to get more and it’s no longer available. I also enjoy Wilde protein chips and they don’t have any other flavor except Nashville Hot in a little bag for $8.99.

  4. Somewhat typical Costco experience. As others have stated the selection isn’t as good as some of the other local branches.

DO NOT go here for returns. You almost feel like a criminal. Returned a knife block that we bought after we brought it home and saw one of the blades was chipped. The return girl was asking me why the picture on the box had more “silver” to the knives than my return. What does that even mean? Other Costcos just take stuff back no questions asked.

Some employees are pretty rude with how they openly talk about other employees. Your customers can hear your trashing other people. Grow up.

  5. Costco is a great way to save money. You still have to be smart and do your research, but their warranties and deals can’t be beat! Love that I can return things if they don’t work out.
