“I recently visited the Costco food court and unfortunately, I had a rather unpleasant experience. The cleanliness of the establishment was subpar, with dirty floors and an overall lack of tidiness. Additionally, the absence of air conditioning made the environment uncomfortably hot, and a lengthy queue added to the frustration. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary improvements to create a more enjoyable and hygienic dining environment for customers.”

Another convenient Costco, especially location by the airport and along the way to and from San Francisco. Ample parking, gas station appears to be slightly separated by a small street. Food court does not seem to require membership access for now unlike other Costco stores during my visit.

Costco is Costco. I expect crowds, and long lines. Though I am always pleased when it goes quickly and smoothly. Costco has great employees, good systems and the lines go quickly. If you know their code system (price has an * or prices have a 7 ie: $29.79 or $29.77), you are getting an deal. They always have new product and offer samples too.

I don’t have a lot to compare it to. It seemed quite spacious compared to what I am used to, but this is the first time I went on a weekday. Unlike the one I normally go to, they sell alcohol.

Very helpful staff here. It does get busy, just like most locations but I think they do a reasonable job keeping things moving. I’m still always disappointed when one of my favorite food items gets discontinued (still miss those instant mashed potatoes), but that’s not unique to this location.

You save money on everything, gas, prescriptions, grocery, cleaners, diapers, flowers, gifts, office supplies, plants electronics, wine everything! You get to taste variety of samples, always fun for adults and kids. Can be quite busy and frustrating at certain hours. Don’t suggest weekend visits, go during week. A good option for buying in bulk

How to Shop Smart at Costco: A Quick Tutorial San Mateo CA

Shopping at Costco can be a great way to save money and stock up on household essentials. Here are some simple guidelines to help you make the most of your Costco shopping experience:

  1. Get a Costco membership: Before you can shop at Costco, you’ll need to become a member. There are different membership options available, including a Gold Star membership for individuals and a Gold Star Executive membership for additional benefits.
  2. Make a shopping list: Costco is known for its wide range of products, so it’s easy to get overwhelmed. Before you go, make a list of what you need to avoid unnecessary impulse purchases.
  3. Plan your visit: Costco stores can get busy, especially on weekends. Try to go during weekdays and avoid peak hours to have a more relaxed shopping experience.
  4. Bring cash or a debit card: While Costco accepts credit cards, they only accept certain ones like Visa. It’s always a good idea to have an alternative method of payment such as cash or a debit card, just in case.
  5. Bring your own bags: Costco doesn’t provide bags for your purchases, so bringing your own reusable bags can save you from having to juggle multiple items or pay for boxes.
  6. Check out the Kirkland Signature brand: Costco’s private label brand, Kirkland Signature, offers high-quality products at affordable prices. It’s worth exploring their range of items to save even more money.
  7. Utilize the food court: Costco’s food court offers inexpensive and delicious meals like hot dogs, pizza slices, and rotisserie chicken. It can be a convenient and affordable option for a quick bite to eat during your shopping trip.
  8. Look for special deals and offers: Costco regularly offers discounts and promotions on various products. Keep an eye out for special sales and check their website or flyers for additional savings.

  1. We can always get good quality of fruits selections here with lower pricing. Membership service also process refund of the 2% annual rewards at the desk as well. Burrata cheese here is in large container and only cost $8.99. Troyes out the carnitas sample today. They never running out of eggs here too.

It can get busy. Free parking. Please add Korean skin care lines! 6/29/21: The gas ⛽ line was not long. Inside 💠 was not crowded. No more 😷 mandate. 7/26/21: I hope my 🆕 office chair 💺 is easy to assemble. January, 2022: Sterling, at the returns, helped me return a defective monitor, so I bought a new 34″ UltraWide curved LG computer 🖥 monitor. I love ❤️ it. April, 2023: Good bargains.

  3. Went to this Costco last week and while shopping I wanted to buy some fruit. I went through the strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries and had to dig through the boxes because everything had mold on it. Finally found some without mold and purchased. Not even 5 days later my fruit is now moldy and not edible. I contacted Costco as I don’t have a car so only make a once a month trip there and they would not help me with this issue. Awful service and I cannot believe they would sell moldy fruit.

  4. Large Costco. It has an optical department – with a great optometrist. Gas station. Hearing aid center. Big produce section. Tire center. Large parking lot.

    Friendly, efficient staff.

I find getting in and out of this parking lot to sometimes be harrowing. Drivers are impatient and don’t look out for others.

It’s near a Trader Joe’s – different entry point but it’s there if you need to do both.

    Near BART.

And near Kaiser South San Francisco.

    Also, not far from Serramonte.

  5. You gotta try to believe it, right? So, Wednesday noon time and surprisingly line short. People talking how good the sandwich and so. Well, sandwich is indeed good but won’t be getting anytime soon.
It’s not like Wow WoW this good for the buck. I think, kinda of pricey. I would pay for this $7.99. Costco got cheap on their roasted beef. See my photo, just a few pieces. And to make matter worst, the lady set across me and her roasted beef sandwich was like double the meat and sandwich looks big. And the catch was Costco no longer giving out water cup. They said I need to buy a soft drink to get a cup.
