2 months agoThis place is awesome!! Great friendly staff, who’s always ready to help! The manager Mr. David is amazing!! He always goes over the top to make sure me, my wife, and my siblings are well taken care of! I wash my truck everyday!! I signed up for the monthly plan with David and I just loveeeee keeping my truck clean everyday!!2 months agoSpent the $30 to get the best service they offer. Would have felt better if someone pulled a gun and stole the money from me instead. No pre wash treatment Truck did not come clean- it was not nasty and muddy, but did need washed. Bugs still all over the front, wheels still very dirty. Vacuums did not work- lots of noise, no suction- his is the norm Air hoses never work- today was no exception 1 bottle of “cleaner” on the cart… smelled and acted like water. Rags already wet…. Overall my last few experiences here have been extremely poor. Not sure if owner and management is absent or just don’t care. I will NEVER go back2 months agoIt’s sad with my last three vehicles I have had service here and a monthly membership. I have not had anyone spray my vehicle off before entering or had a pre-bug wash in six months. Most of the time only about a third of the vacuums are working properly. I literally have had $100 tip in my truck for four months waiting to give it to the first person that would spray off my truck. and I typically go twice per week.3 weeks agoIt was a very good car wash but has went down hill this past year. Taking multiple trips through the wash to get my vehicle clean. I canceled my membership due to the wash and vacuums not being worth the money.2 weeks agoOk this is our “Home Location” For Our Fast Pass On Our Vehicles. It’s not this Locations fault of this but “Zips CarWash” Itself They Have Several Locations all over the Country So this is the reason behind us having a membership with them. We have used them from South Carolina to Utah even though they don’t have any in Alabama! But since they have changed their pricing plans, we don’t mind paying for what we want for our vehicles. But they have basically canceled all of our plans because they were on family plans and some other stuff. So it took me over 3 days to get things lined back up where I wouldn’t get in multiple charges on different credit cards! You are a small business owner. You will understand why we got so upset because when you have over 50 credit cards and you’re trying to figure out what driver put on what vehicle and they’re not all coming out at the same time and you’re afraid that part of them are duplicates. This would be zip’s car wash the management overall of all of them. That made a very poor decision! We still have issues where they’re not coming out at the same time on the same date as far as being billed It used to be so simplified but they had to make it just more complicated cuz they wanted to make an extra $10 a month! Like I said I don’t mind paying for what they want and what we want but at least simplify it again or train people to know how to do it! This location has got better within the past few weeks then what it was! This location you still have a good group of people but unfortunately none of them wanted to be salesman or sales people so they all eventually quit, They were very good workers including management, but zips themselves ran off some of their best employees because they won’t everybody to have a wash plan! Of course! They’re doing the same thing to the new guys here but they literally did not know what they were doing for the first couple of months and it’s still not exactly the way it should be because management still doesn’t know how to go into computer and fix things. I’m sure he knows basic knowledge but not as far as what we need. He is very nice. They keep up property. As far as vacuum cleaners always work. No issues! Now I do wish they would use that wand when they spray off people’s vehicle to walk completely around it. It’s no good just to spray the front and back and the driver side the passenger side never get sprayed! I don’t believe they would even be doing as well as they were if one person hadn’t stayed continuing working there from the last group because he literally does everything as far as what they need to do and what they need to know! They will probably lose him just like they lost the other good employees that he didn’t leave with to start with zips. Needs a new strategy as far as having people stand out there at the little kiosk telling people they need to get a membership instead of getting vehicles through the wash and actually getting a complete wash job! It’s not their fault. It’s like this everywhere. There are more worried about what the people see that is there shareholders I guess. Would the people having wash passes then people actually buying individual washes! Unless they are paying them commission where they get half of what is charged every month, I wouldn’t want to be a sales person either! These are kids. Not adults. Don’t ask them to do things that they’re not getting paid for. And yes you’re not paying them enough to do what you’re asking of them. I would include the manager probably on that also! I hope that my home location here in Carrollton Georgia continues to get better because like I said it has, but with that things always usually start off really good and go bad. Bad well this time they started off horrible and they’re getting better because I guarantee you they did not provide proper training for management or any of the employees they hired when the others left!

3 months agoClean and convenient location. Purchased their high end package. The quality of the service is not exactly as advertised but that is the case everywhere you go. The salesman at the front is kind and knows his stuff, the operators of the machine however didn’t really scrub the front and rear of my vehicle as the package describes. The facility offers free glass and interior sprays and clean towels. The vacuums suction is pretty strong but isn’t open to the public like other locations in the area; purchase is required.3 months agoUpdated review: The owners were so nice regarding the situation. I do appreciate them reaching out and helping us with the scratches. For the new car owners: We learn something new. Be sure to check your car for any wrap that the dealership didn’t take off before washing it. We had no idea to even think about this. The top tier wash is definitely they way to go from all the benefits you get for your cars paint.We wanted to try this car wash for the first time on our brand new 2023 Nissan Pathfinder. Not even a week old car and we wanted to test out the wash to see how we like it because we were thinking about getting a membership. We got scratches! Will not be coming back sadly.
3 months agoUpdate…. So as they requested, I went back and they washed my truck again. It looks much better this time. Changing to 5 stars.So, so. Got the $15 wash as recommend by the young lady at the payment sign, when I asked for the $10 wash. Definitely better than it was, but still had bird poop on my hood and dirt around the edges.
2 months agoMy favorite car wash period! I love the different packages they offer. The vacuums have great suction and offer two different sizes for different areas of your vehicle. I just met the GM (Palmer) this visit for the first time. Super nice guy and very knowledgeable about the facilities. My Tahoe looks great! No complaints here! Highly recommend!

Well today is the first time I visited since the old owner and boy what a difference! I came as part of the “Clean care day” promotion and had the “Works” level wash. I first talked to Joe S. at the window and he offered the new wash program via app and I expressed my past experience with the old company’s unlimited wash program and the inability to talk to a real life person with the issues I had. Joe was emphatic to my concerns and assured me that I would not have that same experience and that if I had concerns that they could handle that personally if need be. I’m addition to the fabulous wash that I received for my truck, the facilities allowed me to finish detailing inside and out. I spent 2 hours and had a dead battery… Jackson and AK both helped me first offering jumper cables… that didn’t work so I went and picked up my charger and they provided access to an electrical cord…. Those two definitely went above and beyond helping me get up and running. I want to also thank the owner(s) for hiring such great staff who care and provided A+++ service. Outstanding and I will be back soon.
I stopped by the carwash Wednesday evening about 7:15pm. I did the “Works” package wash and was not impressed with it at all. The employee ( cashier) was polite and professional. The tires on the car did not come clean as you can see in the pictures below. The rear of the car doesn’t look like it was even washed, the front of the car still has dirt on it, and the passenger’s side still had some dirt on it. The package wash claims it includes tire gloss, I do not see that on the tires as well. Did the carwash run out of the tire gloss solution?
The vacuums were good, I just wished the suction was a bit more but it was still good. The mat washing machine was great. First time seeing one and using one. I had to run the mat through twice but it came clean. The only adjustment I would do on the machine would be, if the machine was getting low on time remaining, it should finish out the mat that is in progress. It shut off with the mat in the machine, so I had to restart it with it midway through.
Took my brand new soft top Bronco for its very first car wash and was extremely nervous bc of all the horror stories I’ve heard about taking soft tops through a car wash. I spoke with Jackson and he eased all my fears and said they even pull the arms back so it doesn’t wrap around the back and damage the spare tire. I trusted him and I’m so glad I did. The car wash did a fabulous job and absolutely no damage. We already frequented this place with our other cars but are definitely life long customers. Their customer service is excellent and no one else can even come close.
Sad news today. Tommy’s Express Car Wash corporate will not be covering the removal of clear coat from my rear passenger door panel. Corporate reviewed video footage and said that there was some clear coat damage prior to going in and the car wash helped to remove more, therefore they will not assist with repairs. I doubt that since I dry off my truck after every wash at another carwash and have never seen a bad paint spot on that door. Another bad decision on my part… I had just signed up for unlimited wash subscription AND it was the FIRST time I went through this particular carwash. I was advised that they do not cover damages to paint on vehicles over 5 years old. Posted on a sign in front of the tunnel, of course one has to pay to see it at the front of the tunnel as you are going through the wash system. Who has time to read it then? I asked to have my membership cancelled promptly. I am definitely not going to any of their locations nationwide after this experience. That is unless I want to remove more clear coat on any vehicle I own. I was going to Caliber Car Wash in Douglasville, for months prior and didn’t have issues with their wash system. My bad for switching places for my convenience. Go read their sign before using the wash and I hope you have a better experience than I did. YMMV.
2023-08-18 : Joey had said that he was going to take care of cancelling my subscription for me. I checked app and it still showed that it was still subscribed. So in the end I still had to follow up and cancel the subscription myself.
While I appreciate the feedback to my review, I am still not happy with the outcome. I had hoped for a better resolution than what I ended up with (nothing). I did get free clear coat removal, I guess that was something valuable.
Today was the first time I have been to Tommy’s Car wash. Luckily I came on a great day. Joey was so kind and personable. Such a nice person. I do wish there were more options to be able to detail the inside of my car but my car looks great, and I really like the vacuums.
