A very nice Target. They are always so clean with good selections. Items are easy to find. Staff was available and helpful. It was convenient since it was close to the hotel I was staying at.

The local manager here decided she will no longer honor price matches for items on sale at other retailers – aka the entire point of the price matching. Apparently target employees are now able to change corporate practices as they choose. The customer service attendant was nice so that is the reason for the one star instead of zero.

we purchased a Nintendo switch for the first time. Of course we bought the game, the extra controller & the console all together. Get home & the console doesn’t work… we decide to just return everything…. Except we can’t.

Target apparently doesn’t allow returns on games once they are out of the plastic. It’s “illegal” I guess. Ok, understandable, out of their hands. But here’s the thing… I wouldn’t even be retuning it if you didn’t sell me a defective console.

And here’s the other thing… You know this is an exception to the typical return policy. Why was this information not relayed at the time of purchase? Now I’m stuck with a useless, $60 purchase. I talked to 2 people and one of them spoke to their lead. Everyone gave me the same response. “There’s nothing I can do for you.”

As a retail leader of 8 years, I encourage you to tell your customer’s when there is an exception to the typical return policy that will prevent your customer from being able to make a return. I would have been happy with a store credit even. But nope. Nothing.

Ridiculous they cant answer a phone. I have called an absurd amount of times only to be hung up on. Ive callled every department. Ive called pickup and delivery. Customer services. No one picked up. Target used to be so much better than walmart. Now its a damn twin.

A staff member named Rabia helped me at self checkout. She was so polite and patient. And she went the extra mile to help me use my gift cards when I was unable to do it properly. And the store is nice and clean.

The staff is very friendly especially the old guy that help me at entertainment department. I can’t remember his name but he is very sweet and kind. I went there to look for k-pop album and I see them on the shelf but it’s not the version that I want. However, I decide to ask him if they have another version at the back. He told me yes and asked me which version that I’m looking for, I told him the description and he came back with it in his hand.

Thank you so much for helping me today!

Have had great experiences at this Target. Pick up has been quick and efficient as well as checking out and returning items. Shout out to Marcia who was so kind in assisting me through the returns process today. The employees have been very friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs. Big Target fans here and happy to have a good one close by for all of our needs!

It’s a great store, but has such oddly little fresh produce. No cabbage and other stuff. I have to keep notes on what odd things are missing from each Target location. It has lots of freezers and nonperishables. Everyone was nice.

Love the ability to order online and then drive to the store, park in a designated spot, and have someone bring your items to you. They are very quick at it too. It is nice to have an alternative to Amazon, as Target pricing is very competitive, and oftentimes far lower than what I can find online.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Target. They have great service and are extremely good about refunds if you’re not happy with your purchase. I’ve never encountered a rude employee. Great place to get everything you need.

  1. I haven’t been to a target in years but I needed some lip balm while I was on the road. Jeeez nothings changed other than lack of cashiers

Targets are understaffed now like wal marts…I never go to Walmart for 3 reasons understaffed, terrible customer service , disgusting and unclean floors , carts and people

  2. Generally, I would give Target a 5 star rating because they have excellent quality items reasonably priced. Their stores are usually clean and they seem to have a good number of staff providing good customer service. BUT, I had checked the website for the Ward Parkway for inventory on a couple of specific items that were not actually in the store. I did go a bit out of the way of my regular store locations. I ended up having to go all the way back to the Target at the Shawnee Mission store.

  3. I’ve never encountered a Target that is as routinely poorly stocked as this location. And this is my ‘home’ Target. I’m a frequent Drive Up customer, and I can’t tell you how many times I get a notification that an item is out of stock. The pictures I have included were taken on 07-19-2023. We are talking about a store that is out of pantry staples like butter, eggs, and salad. With these sort of inventory levels, it’s almost like this location has been hit by another pandemic.

  4. A team member, who may not have even been 21, denied me sale of over the counter nicotine replacement therapy patches because I couldn’t produce identification.
    I am 61 years old.
I called to ask they corporate policy concerning this matter and Target is unable to provide it. The state law requires presenting identification for the purchase of tobacco products (cigarettes, vaping, smokeless, etc)
Stopping people from starting is good, but preventing people from stopping?

Target needs to do a better job in training

  5. I never leave reviews, but this incident particularly upset me. Tonight 8/25 at 8:30 I was at this Target and I was browsing around for some clothes, I had a few I wanted to try on. When I went over to the fitting rooms, they had blocked off the fitting rooms while three employees stood there sorting through clothes that I am assuming they had to put away before the end of the night. To my understanding they close at 10:00. When I walked up they all looked at me and went silent. I walked away and just put everything back. Wasted my time. I was not the only one there shopping for clothes. I would think if there’s still a solid hour and a half til the store closes, the fitting rooms should be open too? 🙄
