Front desk is very rude and hang up abruptly. I went to a different location for labs and had much better experience there.

The medical assistant of Dr. Park is hard to reach and we’ve never met her in person. We sent her records per her request, and she emailed us weeks later asking for the same thing. Our questions are often unanswered. They don’t share the results unless you ask (and even you ask they may not reply). There is no way to directly communicate with Dr. Park outside of the appointments. You have to really advocate for yourself to get things set up properly for each cycle.

Do not go here. The front desk is overwhelmed with the amount of patients they are seeing. It felt like I was going to a planned parenthood facility as we were treated like a number.

They mixed up my medical records with my partner and they called the wrong medication into a different pharmacy that I had previously used in another cycle and almost ruined an IVF cycle at day 10.

I had two failed cycles. I was told it was due to stress (not true) Dr. park was not reachable and was very handoffs – the only time I heard from her was when she gave guidance that we should cancel the egg retrieval.

I recommend Gen5 – its top notch and the quality of care is 150% better.

It’s been a while since I saw Dr. Park so I’m happy to see that she has some positive reviews. As I recall, her bedside manner was terrible and her office staff incredibly rude. I saw her twice. I almost didn’t return after the first visit because of her lack of concern or empathy for my visit but thought maybe she was having an off day. The second visit was worse. Not only was she cold and unsympathetic but she rushed me through my appointment. I didn’t even feel like a person by the time I left her office. Not only was her staff very unaccommodating for the scheduling that she requested but they were rude. I walked out of her office in tears never to return. I found a new doctor who was caring and nurturing through the process. I know not everyone needs a caring doctor for this type of treatment because you want the best but for me, she wasn’t the best. She was heartless and the rudeness from her staff compounded the negative experience. I’m glad I left her office and found someone else. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this doctor regardless of her accomplishments. I hope this help someone out there who is on the fense about seeing her. Best of luck to you!

Dr. Park said that we were ignorant in listening to a specialists advice who she told us to see. She also called all of them ignorant. She gave our donor the wrong medication greatly lowering our chances and were unsuccessful in IVF. She then told our donor, without us there, that she was a poor candidate significantly causing emotional trauma while she was still groggy from anesthesia. Then proceeded to leave immediately without seeing us due to “last minute reasons” and having someone tell us if we wanted to speak with her we needed to schedule an appointment because she wanted to speak with us. We’ve never spoken again. We lost $60,000. We are pregnant from same donor and a different IVF clinic. I believe arrogance, incompetence, personal views and unprofessionalism caused Dr. Park to hurt us badly. Please do not go there!!! I am not the only one who I know has been hurt there. We also have validation from another specialist. We would fight her in the court of law if she didn’t have the advantage.

Dr. Park and all of the staff at San Diego Fertility Center are amazing! The entire team is caring, organized, and fully committed to your treatment. The San Diego Fertility Center team is always available to answer your questions and during IVF that makes all the difference. Thanks to Dr. Park and her team I’m now nine weeks pregnant with twin girls. Crossing fingers and praying for two healthy babies. It’s been a long journey, several years, and another IVF doctor that was horrible. Don’t waste your time any where else. For infertility call Dr. Park and her team today.

  1. We can’t say enough about our experience with SDFC and Dr Park. All of the staff work together to walk you through this journey. Dr Park made sure we understood every part of the process. We definitely felt like family, not just a number.
I would highly recommend SDFC for your fertility/surrogacy journey.

  2. This post is way overdue, but never too late to acknowledge the incredible team at SDFC… We have 18 month old twins, thank you to Dr. Park and her AMAZING team at SDFC…

We struggled getting pregnant for 6 years due to unexplained infertility and when we met with Dr. Park, we knew she was THE doctor for us… She listened to everything we had to say and made us feel at ease throughout every process… Thank you for making our family a possibility, without you, it may not have happened…

Our babies have been so much fun and every blessing we knew they were the minute we found out about them…. Thank you so much for making them a possibility, we owe you everything!!

  3. I donated eggs 3 different cycles. I loveeee San Diego fertility clinic Del Mar location. For my first two cycles Tara was my nurse coordinator. She is on top of things. So so great. I live in Riverside and I would drive all the way to SD because that facility is so great. My last and final donation my coordinator was Sarah. Im glad I had such good communication with Tara the first round because Sarah would not respond to any of my questions via email. No reminder of my trigger shot. No updates on labs. Poor poor communication with that coordinator. The anesthesiologist is so freakin funny. He was amazing all 3 times. The doctor amazing. Surgery nurses, the best. Thank you all, the entire egg donor team is top notch.

  4. This is a way overdue review that I am leaving for Dr. Park and her amazing staff. About a year ago we walked into SDFC and met Dr. Park for the first time. She explained to us the entire process of IVF and started me on a plan immediately as I expressed my urgency to start asap. We went through 2 rounds of egg retrieval; the first round Dr. Park even suggested we don’t proceed with the egg retrieval to save us money and to try another mixture of cocktail meds because I did not have a decent egg count. But we decided to proceed and just do another round anyways. It just shows how HUMAN she is and cares about our financial situation since IVF is not a cheap process.

I remember when we first started IVF, I would go through all the comments to find reassurance and hope through other peoples’ success stories. I hope this is one of them for those looking for positivity. We are 2 weeks away from our scheduled due date and from meeting our baby girl!!! WILD!!!

The journey is long; it’s a whole lot of medications, watching your hormones go whacky, physical changes to your body, a lot of waiting… & more

IVF is also not magic, it won’t work for every body. But Dr. Park will make sure she evaluates and creates the perfect care plan for YOU. She will construct a treatment unique to you to bring you the best possibility. I truly wish everyone success, sending out the most powerful positive vibes and juju!

Took a star away because they are never on time with your appointment (ultrasounds and bloodwork). I would go in during work for the appointments (I work M-F) and wait 20-30min to be seen. Truly frustrating cause I would use my lunch breaks to go in and be late to clock back in cause I had to wait there so long 🙁

  5. I had a wonderful experience at SDFC as someone who was struggling with infertility due to tubal factor. My husband and I both can’t say enough good about this clinic, Dr. Friedman and the team. We switched to SDFC after having a bad experience at another clinic in San Diego. When I met Dr. Friedman I immediately knew we were going to switch. She was kind, empathetic, collaborative, knowledgeable, clear, confident, everything I would want on this journey. Her staff was also absolutely standout. Dr. Friedman’s medical assistants, Alyna and Irene, were amazingly clear, kind, and reliable communicators. I felt like I always knew what was going on and if I had any questions I could reach out and knew she would get back to me ASAP. The Nurse Practitioners , Cassandra and Jackie, were also clear, direct, and kind which made visits during the retrieval process much less stressful. The embryology team was communicative, informative and so kind as well. The scheduling and logistics were fairly seamless throughout the process which isn’t easy! The financial team was helpful when needed, which was only once or twice because everything was very transparent from the start.
All in all I would recommend Dr. Friedman and her team to anyone on this journey.
