Ive been coming to this target since it opened, never had any problems. Staff is great, management seems exemplary. The starbucks inside, another story. A quick synopsis of them is seriously unhappy, uneducated, and in mostly likely not in their correct environment.

I went to grab a drink, barista, probably bored and dissatisfied with life, began to tell me his opinion of my favorite drink. Explained that the drink i ordered was gross, and dont know why people drank it. Ill let this one slide, but im still looking for the person who asked for his a opinion. Can i get a little help here?

At this point I might as well go back to Walmart. Target, why am I even paying more if you are no longer being a better product.

We know corporations do not care about their workers. They care about their profits and share holders. But there used to be a veneer of care for customer satisfaction. I witnessed that go down the drain today. There were no check-out lines open at the store. I asked the man (presumably the manager) overlooking the self-checkout area whether he could open a check out line as I did not want to use the self-checkout feature. I don’t think I need to explain myself for this choice, but here is the reason: I had many big items and the self-checkout area is cramped and difficult to navigate with big items. The man was rude. He offered no explanation or apologies. He did not try to accommodate my request. He informed me that I would have to use the self-check out. I understand that self-check out could be an option for people in a hurry or people who have only a few items, but it cannot be an imposition on customers. The prices I pay at this store include someone helping with checkout (that is, wages paid to workers). What is this manager’s customer service motto? Tell customers to go help themselves when they request help? I propose that self-checkout lines should include a % discount.

Weird bugs in their good and gather long grain white rice. Just bought it less than an hour ago. Ruined my whole dinner. And they wanted to give me a partial refund. No how about a full refund and a gift card? Like minimum customer service skills would require at least that! This rice needs to be recalled , it’s not on the outside , they’re on the inside moving around. Video/pic shows one but it’s full of these insects!!!! Remove these off all of the shelves and give me some compensation!🤢 I feel like throwing up!

I always prefer this Bakersfield location because of the larger selection. Went in a couple days ago to get formula for my baby but the size I was looking for wasn’t on the shelf. Deyzi went out of her way to check the back and came back with the last two cans they had. I always appreciate great customer service.. so thank you! 😁

We are fulltime RVers so ive been in stores all over the country. This is The Most disgusting store I have ever been in. Filthy. Empty in alot of areas. No organization. It felt like the whole crew, except for the 2 cashiers, quit 2 months ago. Including management. If there Is a manager they should be completely ashamed of themselves, the staff, and the state of the store.

Stopped at the starbucks to order their promotional drinks, after seeing the sign that said buy one get one free. they charged me for both drinks and when i asked if it could get corrected because i was wrongly charged all they said was i was supposed to let them know i wanted the promotion added. no where on their sign did it say i had to let them know anout their own promotion before being charged. i left very disappointed. i have worked retail before as a manager and i know you are always to honor any mistakes. they did nothing but put the blame on me as the customer.

Please, someone at this Target, beg for more employees. The store is a complete mess, carts are always out, lines ar doing, no one is at customer service, & let’s not even talk about drive-up. I gave up on it & walked myself in there to obtain my items. No luck. They seemed to have played cat & mouse with my things. Good luck with your shopping here!

Very upset, my 14 year old daughter went to this Target with her friend today and they were told they needed to be accompanied by an adult as soon as they walked in. My family and I shop here a lot and I never heard of this policy before but I feel like my daughter and her friend were targeted for whatever reason and now my daughter feels uncomfortable and I don’t blame her. When I called customer service to speak with somebody about this incident there was no answer. So we won’t be shopping at this location until I speak to a higher up at this location.

  1. Great client service but horrible security.

I was told not to come back by security after I check out. I knew I did nothing wrong she I stayed calm. The security grabbed me by the back the arm in order to get my attention at first. When he saw I was calm and told him my name a d so forth….he then said his boss told him to tell me. I’m still confused. I won’t be back unless I have to.

  2. I ordered on line and did the drive up but they gave me the wrong item and I realized when I got home so I had to drive back and make line that was almost at the door. The line was long and SLOW and she made me look for the correct item myself instead of her through her device. When I come back to tell her no, they don’t have it, there was more people and she made me make like again. She literally made me make like TWICE because I did ask her if I had to make line again and she said yes. I will not be ordering from here because they give you the wrong thing and waste your time and gas money.

  3. Ultimate failure. Every single cart has “flat spots” in their wheels due to homeless folk attempting to steal the carts. Target is failing to repair their shopping carts. And there is only 1 cashier working out of 14 registers. The line was extremely slow, the store appears to be under staffed and under maintained. I don’t like posting negative reviews but this is horrible! Disappointed to be spending money here.

  4. I had the lady pull out a white xbox controller from behind the glass that had a big $39.99 sale price tag on it. We go up to the register and charges $65. I told her the $39.99 price, she goes back and double checks, and says, “Sorry, the price tag was in the wrong place.” I had to leave it. There was only xbox controllers on that shelf. I don’t understand how I have to wait for it to get unlocked and then not get it for the price shown.

  5. There are never any check out lines open. Today when I went there was 1 line open and some of the self check outs were not workingand there were abkjt 20 people in line for both the regular and self check out. It took a solid 15 minutes to make it through and they never opened another line. They need to have more people working the counters.
