Arrived on a Wednesday at 11:30am and it was crowded, paid for the deluxe wash. Took about 45 minutes as stated, they did a good job and my vehicle is nice and clean 🤩 Be sure to tip these hard working people more than a dollar Highly recommend this car wash 🧼🚗

The good: Affordable prices Offer multiple car wash services Employees have good customer service Every employee interaction was pleasant Fast, even when busy They do a good job! Snacks, drinks, good smelling car scents, ice cream and a large selection of cards for multiple occasions Windows to watch your car being washed Fish tank Community board to drop your business card Clean bathrooms Plenty of spots to sit and wait Happy Hour specials

The bad: It can get crowded so be patient

I didn’t plan to leave a review, but I keep getting emails from them about it. Also, it’s never a good sign when a company ONLY replies to the positive reviews they receive as EVERYONE’S experiences are valid and deserve acknowledgment. It’s also important to look at how recently reviews are posted, and they have quite a few 1 ☆ reviews from within the last month alone.

    So…

I had a free promo (found on the website) and my experience was awful and I am irritated that I spent time waiting for… what? To get a dirty car back?

I had waited inside for about 30 minutes. It was getting close to the time of an appointment I had, so I got up to ask where my car was… they do not text you or verbally inform you when your car is completed, so I waited a while longer than necessary.

I noticed a lot of things missed on both the interior and exterior, and I asked one person if they were finished and if the car had been cleaned at all….

They said it was done, and claimed that the remaining spots were due to bugs and tree sap (and I don’t really park near trees as I work and live downtown…) and the manager gave the reason of “it would take too long to go over every single spot…?” but they agreed to go over the areas I had pointed out and I went back inside again to wait…

It still didn’t get done. At that point, I had to leave in order to be on time for my appointment, so I just took the L. Mine was free, but some others have paid for the “basic package” where a simmple vacuum job wasn’t completed. Some have paid over $200 to bot get a BASIC cleaning/vacuuming… they seem to find fault and reasons outside of their performance and require more and more money for the basics.

These are some pictures of the job they did… it’s literally a waste of time, and thank God it was free. This is absolutely NOT how you attract new clientele… they basically just took my car for a lil drive around the building and called it “finished,” and I left feeling that I definitely should have just done it myself as I clean both commercial and private spaces professionally; am not sure they use the proper cleaning solutions or materials for different surfaces, and the vacuums don’t seem to work at all.

It was also extremely crowded in the parking lot and it made me nervous how close they parked my car next to someone else’s. I definitely don’t reccommend in general, but it really is not a good option for luxury or company cars.

If you only treat the clients who pay you well, then don’t offer a free promo…? But it seems that those who have paid over $200 are having these same issues… it’s a money grab.

These experiences leave plenty of opportunity for others to start their own businesses and do a much better job at doing the bare minimum while earning money instead of wasting their own.

Great car wash and clean. That new car smell and feel. I have pets and while it wasn’t perfect it was a good job. Pride in their craft. They know clean matters and the team works hard.

Great option for a fast and efficient car wash, I’ve not been anywhere else since trying this place. The basic wash has worked fine for me, it’s cheap and includes inside and outside the car. There is very little wait and people are nice and friendly. Have never tried more thorough cleans but would trust them with it

I got the mini detail and I’m happy with the product. Difficult to tell the difference between selecting the mini detail vs the full detail, but I would recommend the mini detail. My car is clearly clean and I’m happy that I selected this service. 3 hours at $325 is pretty good. Seriously, my car is very clean now. I will definitely be coming back to Waterworks Car Wash Denver for my next detail.

    Two issues:

    1. A 55 minute wait for a car wash is absurd. Once I saw how long I was going to have to wait, I was boxed in by other cars and couldn’t leave. It took 61 min from the time I pulled into the queue until I pulled out of the bay. I could have washed the car by hand in less time 2. My car is still dirty, despite having gotten the most expensive wash. I hadn’t don’t any highway driving/road trips. The dirt on my car was from around town driving in snow and slush. It should have come clean in a basic wash, and especially the most expensive wash. Soap was left in the door frames of my car along with a blob of green (soap?) on the hood. There was dirt all over the spoiler, bumper, trim on each side and wheels. There were dirt spots on the hood and roof. No part of the car that was clean. See pics taken from Autowash parking lot immediately after wash. Waiting 55 minutes for a wash that didn’t clean my car is unacceptable.

Long lines and mostly closed lanes. 4 photos taken in last month show problems on 4 separate occasions. They keep saying the wash is popular but it isn’t worth it if everytime you go EVEN at NON busy times they are closed or you have to wait over 30 minutes. Came at 6am to go through quickly but two lanes closed. Still had to wait 30 mins. They need to fix they’re up time.

2$ to start the wash and 1$ to vacuum! This place is economically friendly. The vacuum stayed on for like 5 or 10 minutes! I was able to vacuum the front and back on the first go-around. Plus they be parking lot pimping over here. Alot of fine ladies 💯

This spot has a self dog wash; a pleasant surprise my neighbors told me about. Have taken the dogs here several times now. It’s nice to be able to get the dogs washed really quickly, generally without a wait. I like the option to pay by card, and the price is very reasonable. Also the setting to just spray the shampoo (all-in-one) is nice rather than having to mess with bottles of shampoo. They have a turn knob for shampoo, flee shampoo, conditioner, rinse, blow dry, etc. The only other thing I wish I could adjust is the water temperature. I have not found a way to do so, if there is one. The water is quite warm. But the dogs don’t seem to mind it. I really like having this place close to home and it’s economical, and practical to use more often than stopping into a dog store to do it or having to do baths at the house. Win-win! Great customer service as well, should you run into any issues. One time we didn’t get any soap (only a spray down) and they gave us a code for a free dog wash on our next time. So nice of them! Check it out. Bring your own towel. 🙂 There is a place you can hang up a few things..

Best car wash around Denver. All touchless automatic stalls with self-wash stations available too. The automatic wash has an awesome height-adjusting sprayer that comes within inches of the top of your car as it cleans to really get things spotless. There are high pressure sprayers for your tires and undercarriage as you enter the bay. Only water and soap ever touch the vehicle. A wash cycle is around 8-9 minutes. Separate vacuums available as you leave the wash stall. They also have dog bath stations which are great for your pup. The whole place is self-serve, no staff. The app and a membership is the way to go! The only negative I can say is that they’re so popular the line is often well over an hour on a weekend, especially in the winter after snow has melted. I wish the app had a way to monitor wait times before driving over. Anyway this is the place to get your car clean!

Guidelines for a Secure Car Wash Experience

Car washing is a common task that car owners need to perform regularly to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of their vehicles. Although it may seem like a straightforward task, it is essential to follow certain safety guidelines to prevent accidents and damage. Here is a general safety guideline for car washing:

  • 1. Choose a safe location: Park your car in a well-lit and secure area, away from traffic and potential hazards.
  • 2. Gather the necessary tools and supplies: Have all the car washing equipment and cleaning products ready before you start.
  • 3. Check the conditions: Ensure that the weather is suitable for washing your car. Avoid washing during extreme temperatures or in direct sunlight.
  • 4. Protect yourself: Wear protective clothing, such as goggles and gloves, to shield your eyes and hands from potentially harmful chemicals or debris.
  • 5. Pre-wash preparation: Remove any loose debris or stubborn stains from the car’s surface before applying any cleaning products.
  • 6. Use the right products: Read the instructions on the cleaning products and use appropriate ones for different parts of your car, such as the body, tires, and windows.
  • 7. Washing technique: Start from the top and work your way down, using a gentle hand or a soft sponge. Rinse frequently to avoid any soap residue.
  • 8. Mind the water source: Be cautious if using a water hose or pressure washer to avoid spraying water into electrical components or openings.
  • 9. Dry the car thoroughly: After washing, use a clean, lint-free microfiber cloth or chamois to dry the vehicle’s surface to prevent water spots.
  • 10. Dispose of waste properly: Empty any dirty water and cleaning solutions into appropriate containers or designated drainage areas.

By following these safety guidelines, you can ensure a safe and efficient regular car washing process that keeps your vehicle looking its best without any unwanted incidents or damage.

  1. DO NOT go here. It’s such a scam. I paid $42 to clean the outside and inside of car. (Not a deep clean just standard). My car was still dirty, and I ended up having to pay again to clean it myself. The manager let me know if I wanted to the crumbs vacuumed that would have been $85! It’s faster and more affordable to clean it yourself. Or go to Mr. Car wash down the block they do a much better job!

  2. I bring my bmw here and I always leave happy! The machine wash does a solid job with no scratches, and the team doing interior and hand work are awesome and super friendly. I had some sticky goop that just wouldn’t come off in the past, and the manager got multiple people to figure out how to buff it out and completely fix the issue — fantastic service and I will keep coming back. Thanks to Seth for the wonderful service.

  3. Amazing service, this car wash does it all! A nice quality wash, with people to fully detail the inside of your car, and amazing customer service. We had just gotten back from a long road trip and had quite a bit of bugs on the front of our car and Pearla helped us make it look as good as new! So happy with our experience!

  4. Great car wash! I love coming here. They’ve done a fantastic job cleaning my cars after multiple cross-country road trips. The staff is always super friendly and last time they took extra care to clean the the bugs out of my bummer and grill.

  5. I have been bringing my family’s cars here since they opened. Always get the total/total package. The exterior looks great and the interior is vacuumed and wiped down nicely. It isn’t a spotless detailing inside, but they are fast and efficient which is exactly what I’m looking for, just to keep up with shuttling the kids all week and road trips on weekends.

I appreciate that they use less water, and the staff is friendly and has so much energy.
