6 months agoOverall, I love how the store is cleaner and more organized than Dollar General or some other stores but the employees could definitely watch what they’re discussing with other customers when there are others around. I shouldn’t hear the word ‘douche’ 9 times while I’m standing in line7 months agoThe store was very messy and had pallets of unopened products all over, and they have been there for multiple days. Many of the products on the shelves were still in the cardboard package that the products come in, just with a hole in it. They have many cashier stations (maybe 8?) and there was only one open. I don’t blame the staff, as everyone is understaffed. This poor woman seemed to be working alone, and there were more than 10 customers in the store shopping, and 6 (including me) in line to check out. The staff working today was not friendly and didn’t smile or say anything. But I probably wouldn’t either in that situation.7 months agoI don’t write reviews but bruh when I tell you this old hag ..My friend simply said hello (which honestly he shouldn’t have) ..it said nothing just gave us a dirty look ..she didn’t tell us our total nor did she give us our receipt until we were almost out the door then it yelled if we wanted the receipt. If you are that miserable stay home. Idk how’s she gotten around life like that. Id be sad too tbh they need a new employee2 years agoI like the selection of crafty stuff. I make epoxy resin pieces and have found so many useful tools and things to use here. 5 months agoTony the cashier is a very nice white person very professionalism I have a great experience or every time I go in that place whatever Tony’s not in there they usually gets a little hectic and confusing because the cashiers are new it sounds like they just can’t seem to keep people there for some reason probably the pay and the management serial saying you’re only as good as those who lead you so all on that show that’s it right there I know if I was to go in there I’m going to manage that place people would be coming in there by the truckloads that’s all good quality of service that begin3 months agoThe Manawa location is far superior to 8th St and Broadway , by fara month agothe store manger sam or what not is beyond rude.a year agoThey were awesome. Never had to leave my van. They were fast, thorough & courteous. Only thing was noone told me to just get in line & they’d help me next. So I called when noone came out. I felt stupid.2 years agoAnthony was very polite on my visit and fast with checkout. It was clear that he cared about his job and his customers. With the people ahead of me, he was even sure to remind them to hold onto their balloons when they stepped outside so the tape wouldn’t come off! I would be happy to visit again.

I am an evening assistant manager at this location. I started employment in October 2022. I absolutely love my job here. My Store Manager Ms Melody & Merchandise Manager Ms Dara are absolutely amazing to work for supporting me in all ways possible for my job. Ms Melody & Ms Dara always compliment me on what a great job I am doing which makes it all worthwhile to come to work. They are an amazing support system for me each & everyday that I work. I could not ask for any better managers to work for. Our store has come such a long way since I started working thanks to all the dedication & extremely hard work of Ms Melody & Ms Dara.
I enjoy going to Dollar tree cuz I’m doing crafting right now and they have a lot of interesting things. My one Downfall with them and I have contacted the company and spoke to the several square managers they sell bottled products and charge you the money for the deposit and get their not accepting of the cans back in their stories that I don’t think is right. No one has replied as of yet
I don’t know if the cashier was in training or just not that bright. I asked him several times to separate the food products from the cleaning supplies I was purchasing and he never did it, which made the total more than what I had which is important if your on a fixed income. When he called the manager over she was very rude and condescending and kept telling me “everything here is 1.25”. She also never separated my items, i just put some items back because I just wanted to get out of there will never go back to that location ever
Very rude staff. The store is a mess and when you try to look at anything past their mess. Staff stops, gives you a dirty look, and asks what you’re doing. Then they refuse to let you take the cart out when this location has a cart return. I will not be coming back
Store looks pretty good, much better with the workers they have now, huge improvement.
