Coming here as a tourist from the East Coast, the selection of items exclusive to the West Coast is huge. Also tried the mango smoothie and it was good. This Costco is probably the nicest one I’ve been to.

Perfect place to get groceries. Don’t have a lot of options for electronics and don’t sell bicycles here.

Sometimes, I do not come to Costco to buy anything, but I want to enjoy the crowding vibe while looking at everyone’s business. By the way, Costco offers fresh, high-quality, diversified food and household items. Thank you for the beautiful food and excellent customer service at Costco

Updated 04/08/23: it was a rainy day, but Costco Wholesale was full of people. I had a great chance looking around and figured out that there was a hugely diverse, unique item that could be found only in this location. Thank you for providing fresh, high quality, and delicious food to our valued customers

Costco as a company is great, always had the best experience. Have been to many locations and they always check the membership card at the entrance so there is no complications while checking out. Love this concept. In this location it’s different. Even though the membership gets checked on the entrance they still want to check and verify it’s you after you have been standing in the line. I mean this doesn’t make any sense. They say they do this because people are using other people’s cards. I mean if that is the case how did they enter, cos I thought it’s members only store. I’ve seen many members not being happy with this and do not want to show the card here. They also told me it’s policy, but I think all the locations will do this if it’s a policy 🤔. Anyway I hope they stop harassing the membership holders like this.

Saturdays are the busiest day, but I’ve never once felt uncomfortable due to the crowds. It was much simpler to find my way around here than in the Tacoma location, and the staff was both efficient and friendly. Managers will pause to assist customers if necessary. The shop was spotless, too. There are a lot of people working there, but I had the impression that they all put forth their best effort to maintain the store’s pleasant atmosphere.

The Puyallup Costco is honestly one of the best ones I’ve ever been to. It has everything we need, but lacks the huge crowds some of the other local Costco always seem to have. Parking is rarely an issue and we can usually find a decent spot within a few minutes if arriving.

The food court can definitely get busy, but that’s just because everyone loves Costco food!

First of all, why is there no early shopping for Executive members? Sams Club does…Second, why does this place open at 1000!? I got stuff to do! Sams Club opens for plus members at 0800! Oh and I can’t forget about scanning items with your phone then skipping the line for an easier checkout process at Sams club…..

Not worth the money and hassle. This isn’t the Stone Age Costco, it’s 2023 and Walmart is beating you.

Costco is great and all, but this one is always SO busy, and seems like they shut down registers right as the closing rush hits. Also, if a customer has something huge they’re purchasing, or if they’re feeble and have heavy items… They shouldn’t have to ask for help getting it to their car. Employees should be proactive and anticipate that help would be appreciated.

You are going to drain your wallet here and like it. Great staff, great products, great prices, great food. There is always something you didn’t know you needed, waiting to be bought. Everything is in bulk so you end up buying way more than necessary and spending a fortune. But at least they make you feel good about it.

How to Shop Smart at Costco: A Quick Tutorial Auburn WA

Shopping at Costco can be a great way to save money on groceries, household items, and more. Here are some simple guidelines to help you navigate your shopping experience at Costco:

  • Membership: Before you go, make sure you have a Costco membership. This is required to shop at the warehouse club.
  • Plan Your Trip: Take some time to plan out what you need to buy before you go to Costco. This will help you avoid impulse purchases and ensure you stay on budget.
  • Bring a Shopping List: Once you have your plan, make a shopping list. Writing down exactly what you need will help you stay focused in the store and prevent you from forgetting anything you need.
  • Be Prepared for Bulk Buying: Costco sells items in larger quantities, so be prepared to buy in bulk. This can be great for non-perishable items or things you use frequently, but it might not be ideal for items with a shorter shelf life.
  • Check Prices: Costco is known for its competitive prices, but it’s still a good idea to compare prices. Check prices at your local grocery store or online to ensure you’re getting a good deal.
  • Try Samples: One of the perks of shopping at Costco is the free samples. Take advantage of these to try new products or even use them as a snack while you shop.
  • Bring Your Own Bags: Costco doesn’t provide bags, so bring your own reusable bags or boxes to carry your purchases. This will save you from buying bags at the checkout.
  • Plan Your Visit: Depending on the day and time, Costco can be quite busy. To avoid crowds, try to go earlier in the day or on weekdays. This will make your shopping experience much more pleasant.
  • Keep an Eye Out for Deals: Costco offers seasonal sales and deals on various items. Look out for these discounts to save even more money.

Shopping at Costco can be a fun and rewarding experience. By following these guidelines, you can make the most out of your trip and save money on your purchases.

  1. Good central location with everything that I need. I especially love getting my economical rotisserie dinner for 3 under $28! The cashiers are great and always ask if I find what I’m looking for. However, I can’t say the same for the floor staff. Some are quick to avoid you if it looks like you’re searching for something or contemplating a purchase like the young gentleman I included in the photo. I wanted to inquire about one of the TVs but he was more interested in watching instead of assisting😞

  2. I am addicted to Costco! Everyone is so friendly and helpful at every Costco I have been to. The food they make is amazing as is the Kirkland brand they have. It’s all quality goods. You do have to pay for membership but it pays for itself in one shopping visit. Well worth it! Make sure to check out the bakery as they have seasonal mini cakes, extra large cupcakes🤑, that they change up every 2months. Red Velvet and Gingerbread have been my favorites! Don’t forget the $5.00 Roasted chicken! I’ve yet to find better anywhere!

  3. I went to the Tacoma, Washington location today. Spent a couple hundred bucks there. As I’m checking out with my cart full of stuff and the cashier scans my card. He immediately asks me if I’m there too. Like my card isn’t mine. I said that’s my card and he’s like oh. It progressively gets worse. I’m there with my wife and she pulls out her bank card first. Both our cards are connected to the same account. And I’m still in shock he accused me of not being me. He asks her if she has a card and I’m like she’s my wife and he said you can take her to costumer service and get her on my account if I’m the main card. And I’m like I am and my brother has the second card. Why would I give her my other card if we come here together. So basically, I’m not sure I want to buy anything because of the cashiers attitude with me. But I end up purchasing the items on my bank card. I don’t know if he targeted me because my skin color, or that I’m gay. It seems so because the people right before me used one card and he allowed both to pay. The wife counting out exact change. The lines were more busy than usual and not once did he or any other cashier in hearing distance ask about anyone else’s card or question payment. I feel like the cashier needs sensitivity training, costumer service training, and anti discrimination training. His name is Steven R and his OP# 823. Whatever that is. It makes me not comfortable coming back into that location at the very least. I never had a problem at Costco before. Spending 1000s yearly there. I understand if he was following policy but he came at it the wrong way and shouldn’t single out certain people. It doesn’t look right and it doesn’t feel good.

  4. Nice Costco, parking is very tight. Customer service was great! The young man who helped us load the new freezer into the truck was awesome!

  5. Love Costco but not sure why i keep Finding so much mold on the bakery side.

A lot of things are being thrown on the ground. Having to find myself having to pick it up or else I’d fall with my baby in my hands…

Definitely like coming here just wish it would be a bit cleaner and organized.
