Either hire more cashiers or schedule them better to where they are spread out. No one wants to shop online all the time. Part of the target experience is going in-store with your friends, grabbing Starbucks and looking at all the stuff you can’t afford because you spent all your money buying expensive Starbucks drinks. When you finally DO find something you wanna buy you have to wait 5 hours just to check out. Even self checkout is slow. The cashiers look overwhelmed when there is a line as far as cosmetics. Please stop the madness.

Best Target in Pittsburgh. Half the price of Giant Eagle but twice the quality and 10X the selection. If you want groceries go here.

Target is probably one of the greatest stores ever invented. Not only do I always find what I need but there is always something super cool to discover. I cannot stand shopping in general, but Target one of the places I always love to go to.

My daughter nephew and I was in a target in homestead pa. 820 I went to the bathroom and they was looking at boys underwear. When I got out of the bathroom. I texted my daughter to see where they were. They’re at the boys underwear. I walked over to meet and there was this security guard talking to my kids. When I got there. He said they couldn’t be alone or whatever. Few things. One how are we suppose to know there was a curfew or rules if not posted upon the entrance. My daughter is very self confident about wearing boys clothing and made her very self conscious and sad and triggered her anxiety and depression. It took me a few hours to talk her down from now wanting to be her self. Her anxiety is strong and I don’t know what all he said to her cause I arrived as in they were mid conversation. I really don’t appreciate that someone who is trying to be themselves felt shamed by the security guard. She’s still upset about it. She’s been crying non stop. I’m trying to find a mental health Dr to try to help her. This is so disappointing esp from a target store. If a target store needs city cops inside and extra security guards. How does it make for a enjoyable shopping experience. I’m going to be contacting my attorney and see if I should contact the media outlets about how employees of target treat kids. My name is Christopher Thomas.

Always nice shopping and one stop shop unless you are in dire need of a butcher.

Honestly, I think it’s one of the best Targets I ever shopped in the Pittsburgh area. It is not crowded and not empty. Plenty of room to circulate and check out items. I have used the curbside pickup a few times and never had an issue. Staff is friendly and nice.

This location seems to consistently understaff cashiers. Multiple times I’ve been there with a single register opened and a long line. It seems that’s by design because the cashier doesn’t seem to be able to call someone else up to open another register and deal with long lines.

Not the place to go if you want to buy something frozen. It may be thawed by the time you get to your car.

If this is your car. You are silly. You parked in an active road. You are not in a parking space. You can’t read the symbol under your car?

Thank you to the team members for helping me with my online order-Donna, Brittany, and Maisha on the McKnight store in Pittsburgh! Despite the store being super busy these team members were super kind and helpful!

I am generally pleased with each shopping experience at Target. The cleanliness of the stores, the helpfulness of the employees and the quality of the brands they carry all make shopping there a pleasant experience. I am not pleased with the shift towards self checkout. It would be helpful if there was an equal number of checkout employees and self checkout stations. Other than that I have no other complaints about Target.

  • Check the weekly ad and Target’s website for any ongoing promotions or special discounts before purchasing.
  • Use Target’s loyalty program, Target Circle, to earn rewards and access exclusive offers.
  • Be mindful of other shoppers by practicing good etiquette, such as keeping your shopping cart to one side of the aisle and allowing others to pass.

  • Don’t remove tags or open products unless you intend to purchase them, as this may lead to confusion or prevent other customers from buying them.
  • Don’t engage in disruptive or inappropriate behavior while shopping, as it can create an unpleasant environment for everyone.
  • Don’t forget to keep an eye on your personal belongings to prevent theft or loss.
  • Don’t ignore expiration dates or overlook the quality of perishable items when grocery shopping at Target.

While these rules are not exhaustive, they are general guidelines to help enhance your Target shopping experience. Remember to be courteous to fellow shoppers, make use of available discounts and promotions, and make informed decisions when making your purchases.

  1. I like going to this specific Target location because they have a huge parking lot covered. In raining and snowing days, that’s crucial when you need to walk to store and put groceries in your car. Other than that, I feel that this store has a good layout, and its staff does a great job at organizing items.

  2. Happy that this store is located here! As far as targets go, this one is frequently out of stock of essential items but that seems to be the case at every target lately. The cashier was nice enough once I greeted her and she stopped reading her magazine. I slightly felt like I was interrupting her but at least she wasn’t rude about it.

  3. I like the food they have here, I recently came here and during my check out I looked at my bread and it had mold on it. Luckily I caught it before I got home and the employee told me I could get another one. I know it’s not the stores fault, I would just be more cautious when you’re getting bread or other food items. From what I see the self check out lines are pretty busy as are the regular check outs but when I get in line it usually gets to my turn at a good time frame.

  4. I liked it had a lot of swimsuits
I always love going to target wish I could have stayed longer really liked the clearance aisle
Also went baby retail therapy shopping
My Son had a safety 1st car seat when he was younger
It was a car seat made for a King ,
It’s like the lazy boy for carseats

I also love the pack and play lol

  5. You can almost always find what you need at Target, but the experience to get it isn’t always stellar. Have been approached many times by people in the parking lot asking for money which detracts from the experience. At times it also seems that this Target might be understaffed as there are sometimes employees too busy running around to help you find an item or answer a question. Despite all it’s flaws, it’s still a great place to go if you need some basic home items that you can’t find without going on Amazon.
