a month agoPretty solid department store just like any others. Nothing really sticks out, but it is one of the better places to shop for affordable clothes and housewares.From what I’ve noticed it’s not very plus size friendly, but the selections are cute if you’re in a standard size range. I’m not, so i mainly stick to the accessories, and home decor.
The employees are refreshingly human, I didn’t get greeted at the door but i also didn’t get pestered with questions. This is a good place to shop if you like being able to shop at your own pace.
a year agoThis is a bargain shoppers paradise. They have all the latest styles you could find but reasonably priced to keep a busy mom of 3 kids on budget. And can’t forget the great fun toys and treats for our doggie who gets spoiled as well. Great designer fashions to keep up with the new trends that won’t break your pockets! Of course this mom’s favorite part is the great holiday decorations and you can never have too many coffee mugs!2 months agoSo, i’ll admit, I have a bit of an obsession with stores such as T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, and HomeGoods. I love the relatively cheap prices and large selection. You can almost find something you love for super cheap every time you visit. I never feel bad about treating myself to one or two things, because of how cheap it is. I also love getting my dog little toys in a three pack from the dog section. It makes her week (which makes my week) and doesn’t hurt my wallet. I’ll include a picture of my dog (long hair chihuahua) sleeping with one of her toys, for size reference. This one came in a 3 pack for about $5. Which, compared to Petsmart prices is amazing!a month agoIf it was possible to give 0 stars – that’s what I would do. This store does not offer a positive customer experience of any kind. It is disappointing on so many levels. I will not be shopping here ever again.2 weeks agoUnusual stuff in the kitchen, housewares, and foody sections. Holds my interest while the spouse tries on every shoe in stock. Try it out….surprisingly, good stuff can be found.

And of course, a complete stock of vacation supplies, that you didn’t know you forgot. Be prepared to spend some time in this wonderful store. 2 months agoI think the owner is miserable. They had no air conditioner. They have these workers with fans I would go on strike or call someone about it.. the health department says your work environment should be safe place Not when people will be taking heat strokes and the employees!!2 months agoI’m beginning to think they only have clothes for the smaller people. I can never find anything size 18 at all. Then the linens apparently are for college students only. I asked a worker about them and she had no time, she told me she just clocked out. The stocker told me they stocked up for back to school only. So much for ever going back there.

Fitting room people were really nice. The store was well put together considering it’s probably high volume. However, my cashier (Alexandria) thought it was more important to talk to her co workers instead of providing customer service. Talked to the cashier next to her the entire transaction. Didn’t say a word to me, then handed me the receipt. I worked for Ross for 10 years, so I get it. Overworked and underpaid, long lines, short breaks, horrible customers. but I also know it only takes 10 seconds to be friendly. If you don’t like customer service, idk, maybe don’t work in customer service. Lol.
I could spend all day in T.J. Max. Like seriously! They have sooooo much there to look at and buy. So many gorgeous purses, bags and wallets to choose from!
They have awesome name brand make up for super great prices! They have awesome jewelry. Clothes for everyone in the family. Shoes, pet items, furniture, rugs, bedding, toys—I mean I could go on and on!
Hello! Just wanted to share an unsettling experience I had last night in your Summerville sc location. I was in there with my daughter and husband. I was a few aisles away from my husband when this man walked past me and daughter about 5 times. So I went near my husband and the guy came and stood right next to me almost touching shoulders. As I inched away from him he continued to get closer to me, so my husband got in the middle of us and the guy nearly ran over my husband trying to get around him to get closer to me. At this point I was terrified so we hurried and checked out. I made a post on Facebook to warn other mothers and woman in general and so far two women have said the same thing has happened to them in that store. I know there’s nothing necessarily y’all can do I just wanted to make y’all aware as well, for even the safety of your employees.
i like this store but wish the staff would be nicer. i had an item that was not tagged and it was 3.99$ a woman behind the counter went to get a price check and brought back a different brand that was $5.99 and i kindly told the cashier this is not the same brand and the other lady stated “they were all the same price” which in fact they were not since j spent 5 minutes going through all of them because of the way they were hung up. the ladies attitude was so sour about it i told the cashier don’t worry about it i can just order them on amazon.
Very nice staff! It was a busy store, but the checkout line moved right along!
