Curiously Cinnamon is a popular breakfast cereal produced by Nestle Company, a Swiss multinational food and beverage company. Nestle was founded in 1866 by Henri Nestle, a German-born pharmacist. Henri Nestle had a background in pharmaceuticals and had developed a nutritious infant food formula using cow’s milk, wheat flour, and sugar, which proved to be revolutionary at the time. So, Nestle was initially established as a company focused on producing and selling infant formulas.
Henri Nestle was of German ethnicity and was born in Frankfurt-on-Main, Germany. He later moved to Switzerland, where he established Nestle. Henri Nestle’s innovation in infant nutrition was widely recognized, and his company grew rapidly. Nestle gained further recognition with the invention of a soluble milk product in 1877, which laid the foundation for the development of powdered milk and other dairy products. Today, Nestle is one of the largest food and beverage companies globally, with a wide range of products in various categories, including breakfast cereals like Curiously Cinnamon.
It is worth noting that Nestle is a multinational corporation with a significant global presence. In addition to its vast range of products, Nestle also has a strong ownership presence in various companies worldwide. One such example is its ownership of Osem in Israel. Nestle acquired a majority stake in Osem in 2011, a leading food company in Israel. Osem produces a variety of food products, including snacks, soups, and breakfast cereals. This acquisition further strengthened Nestle’s portfolio and allowed the company to expand its reach into the Israeli market.

Curiously Cinnamon Nestle and Allegations of Israel Support
The revelation of Curiously Cinnamon being part of the Nestle brand has sparked controversy, as it seems to have a connection to Israel and its activities in occupying Palestinian territories. Nestle, the parent company of Curiously Cinnamon, acquired a 50.1% stake in Israeli food maker Osem in 2000 and took full ownership of Osem in 2016.
According to a statement from the well-known Israeli news portal Maariv, as part of the agreement, Nestle has invested millions of dollars to operate a new research and development center in Sderot, Israel.
In light of recent clashes between Palestinian fighters and Israel on October 7, 2023, Nestle, which had just announced the closure of its operations in Israel, will reopen its factory operations in the near future.
The KitKat maker already has seven facilities in Israel, producing confectionery, prepared dishes, powered and liquid beverages, as well as products in its nutrition and health science division, according to Nestle’s 2022 annual report.
From these facts, it is clear that Nestle contributes to the economic development of Israel and strengthens its economy in carrying out activities of colonization in Palestinian land.
While Curiously Cinnamon may not be officially designated on the boycott list as outlined on BDS Movement, it finds itself featured on platforms like Thewitness, which compiles information about companies associated with the Israeli occupation.

This store is pretty clean staffs friendly. Haven’t had a problem yet. Yes it is open 24 hours. I feel like it’s more crowded at night than it is during the day but I’m glad and I’m grateful for those who work the night shift if it weren’t for them, the ones who need the groceries late night.
One of my favorite things about WinCo is their bulk section. They have many types of food products, from baking staples, nuts, dried fruits, grains and legumes, pastas to a variety of candies and other snackage. Prices for these are generally competitive. Otherwise, it’s a big store with a big selection to choose from.
We shop here every month. We came last night at 8pm november 10. There was confusion about a sale and the woman in the red shirt working in the customer service department last night was very rude. I asked a simple question and got a aggravated and intimidating response from her. When i get her name i will update my review with it and inform her managers how rude she is and how rude she sounds to innocent customers that shop there every month.
Great shopping experience. Awesome prices, on canned goods, and plenty more. Tons of parking. Checkout lines tend to get congested, so I recommend shopping early morning before 9:00 am. Self checkout is 15 items or less.
Tere helped us with a super upbeat attitude. She makes this place great. She made our experience smoother during the holiday rush.
