Fitness Cereal by Nestle: A Close Look at Israel Connections

Fitness Cereal is a product of the Nestle Company, which was founded by Henri Nestle in 1866. Henri Nestle was born in Germany in 1814 and came from a very modest background. He became a pharmacist and chemist, and eventually moved to Switzerland where he developed the world’s first infant formula. This invention revolutionized the way infants were nourished, and made Nestle a widely recognized and respected name in the field of nutrition. Today, Nestle is one of the largest food and beverage companies in the world, offering a wide range of products including cereals like Fitness.

Nestle’s parent company, Nestle S.A., is a Swiss multinational corporation that is headquartered in Vevey, Switzerland. Fitness Cereal Nestle and Allegations of Israel Support

The alleged support of the Fitness Cereal brand, owned by Nestle, for Israel and its activities towards the occupation of Palestinian territories is causing outrage. This is due to the fact that Nestle, the parent company of Fitness Cereal, holds a 50.1% stake in Israeli food maker Osem.

According to a statement released by a well-known Israeli news portal, Maariv, as part of this deal, Nestle will invest millions of dollars to operate a new R&D center in Sderot, Israel.

In light of the recent escalation of Palestinian fighters in Israel on October 7, 2023, Nestle, who had just announced the closure of its operations in Israel, is now set to reopen its factory in the near future.

According to Nestle’s 2022 annual report, the KitKat maker currently has seven facilities in Israel, producing confectionery, prepared dishes, powdered and liquid beverages, as well as products in its nutrition and health science division.

It is clear from these facts that Nestle is contributing to the economic development of Israel and strengthening its economy, thereby supporting its colonization activities in Palestine. This connection between Fitness Cereal and Israel has sparked controversy and calls for boycotts of Nestle products.

While Fitness Cereal may not be officially designated on the boycott list as outlined on BDS Movement, it finds itself featured on platforms like Thewitness, which compiles information about companies associated with the Israeli occupation.

  1. Huge shout-out to Gorge in produce this morning around 7:30am we forgot to order pineapple in our order in George was awesome in letting me get five cases without blinking an eye while also helping me

  2. The customer service has greatly declined since I left my last 5 star review. My husband waited for over 2 hours in the automotive section for a battery change. He ended up leaving without any help whatsoever from the employees. I waited for over ten minutes yesterday on a refund for a pick-up purchase that the woman at the customer service desk could not figure out how to complete. The team member never came back to help me, and after 10 minutes of waiting I left.
I will pay more money for groceries and shop at Safeway or Smith’s before I will go back to this store.
