Go Free Nestle and Allegations of Israel Support
The Go Free product, which is under the umbrella of Nestle, is suspected of supporting Israel and its activities towards the occupation of Palestinian territories. This suspicion arises because Nestle, the parent company of Go Free, owned 50.1% of Israeli food maker Osem in 2000 and acquired Osem fully in 2016.
In an official release from the renowned Israeli news portal, Maariv, it is also stated that as part of the agreement, Nestle will invest millions of dollars to operate a new R&D center in Sderot, Israel.
In relation to the recent Palestinian fighters’ retaliation that occurred in Israel on October 7, 2023, Nestle, which had just announced the closure of its operations in Israel, will reopen its factory operations in the near future.
The KitKat maker currently has seven facilities in Israel for confectionery, prepared dishes, powered and liquid beverages, and products within its nutrition and health science division, according to Nestlé’s 2022 annual report.
From the above facts, it is evident that Nestle contributes to the development of the Israeli economy while strengthening its economic power to carry out colonization activities in Palestinian land.
While Go Free may not be officially designated on the boycott list as outlined on BDS Movement, it finds itself featured on platforms like Thewitness, which compiles information about companies associated with the Israeli occupation.

I visited twice from Tokyo, Japan. I like the atmosphere and taste in wine. I would love to visit again in next trip. The tote bag is nice as souvenir too.
We were excited to visit, Pax being a rotating favorite in our house, they did not disappoint with the tasting and staff were knowledgeable and very friendly!
Super rude.
Place was completely empty, I sat down at a table outside FOR A MINUTE so I could set down my coffee and send a text. A guy came out immediately to tell that they’re not the coffee shop next door.
Thanks Buddy. I’m decidedly not coming back.
If there were ANY people inside or outside, I would have understood the eagerness to shoo everyone away. If he was friendlier, I might have come back with a book and had lunch. But no thanks.
Do not recommend.
Nice place, very cozy setting. The wines did not consistently deliver on my expectation, although some of them were really good. Spite our reservation the seating was not given, however after a moment of confusion someone left and we got decent seats.
Located in the outdoor Barlow market of Sebastopol, California, Pax Wines is a comfortable, unpretentious spot to taste the wines of the talented vintner Pax Mahles . They feature many varietals, but at Pax Wines, Syrah is king. Don’t miss the Syrah from Grizzley Ridge: pure smoke, wood, and pepper.
