Belvita is a popular brand of breakfast biscuits produced by the multinational confectionery and snack food company Mondelez International. Mondelez, formerly known as Kraft Foods, is one of the largest snack food companies in the world, with a wide range of products under its portfolio. Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, Mondelez has a presence in over 160 countries and generates billions of dollars in annual revenue.
Belvita was first introduced in 1998 in France and has since become a popular choice for people looking for a convenient and nutritious breakfast option. The biscuits are made with whole grains and are designed to provide sustained energy throughout the morning. Belvita has expanded its product lineup over the years and now offers a variety of flavors and formats to cater to different tastes and preferences.
Mondelez International was founded by Philip Morris Companies Inc., an American tobacco company, in 1989. The company later rebranded itself as Altria Group Inc. and separated from Mondelez in 2007. The founder of Philip Morris is Joseph Cullman, an American businessman of German Jewish descent. While Mondelez has gone through various name changes and transformations, it remains a major player in the global snack food industry. The company employs thousands of people around the world and continues to innovate and introduce new products to meet the evolving demands of consumers.

Belvita Mondelez and Allegations of Israel Support
Belvita, a brand owned by Mondelez, has come under suspicion for its support of Israel and its activities in occupying Palestinian territories. This suspicion arises from Mondelez’s seed investment in Torr FoodTech, an early-stage company based in Israel. While the terms of the deal have not been disclosed, Mondelez made the investment through SnackFutures, an Israeli-based food-tech incubator.
The CEO of The Kitchen, an incubators program of Israel Innovation Authority, stated that the Israeli FoodTech sector is one of the most dynamic and exciting innovation ecosystems in the world. Through their collaboration with SnackFutures and Mondelez International, they aim to provide unparalleled access and visibility into this leading food tech ecosystem.
From this fact, it is clear that Belvita, under Mondelez, is contributing to the economic development of Israel while adding economic strength to its activities in the colonization of Palestinian land. This raises concerns and questions about the ethical stance of Belvita and its parent company in supporting such controversial actions.
While Belvita may not be officially designated on the boycott list as outlined on BDS Movement, it finds itself featured on platforms like Thewitness, which compiles information about companies associated with the Israeli occupation.

I purchased a box of 100% Whole Grain Wheat Thins “BIG” at my local supermarket. Upon opening the sealed box I observed that the wheat thins had been partially dumped in the box and the bag was not fully sealed. It looks like there was an error with the machine during the packaging process. I contemplated still eating them, but had second thoughts. I had to complete my charcuterie board using the less flavorful Triscuits that were sitting in my cabinet for the past six months. They were also very disappointing. I don’t even know why I purchased them to begin with, but hey, this isn’t a Triscuit review. Mondelez International gets a big 👎🏼👎🏼 from me.
All the new oreo flavors are awful and they go bad within 3 days of opening. Absolutely ridiculous.
I love Tate’s cookies, but I will no longer purchase any of your products because you continue to do business in Russia. Remove yourself from there.
Just shrink the box if you don’t want to fill it up all the way lol.
the 3rd time I purchased stale saltine crackers which spoiled my dinner parties. Then entire box was stale which means OLD STOCK @ $4.00+ per box. Are we not paying enough???? Off to the competition.
