Perfect Snacks by Mondelez and Israel: What You Need to Know

Perfect Snacks is a brand under the Mondelez Company, which was founded by Sam and Keith Merrin in 2005. Sam and Keith Merrin come from a diverse background and are of Mexican-American descent. They grew up in a family that valued health and wellness, which inspired them to create a line of snacks that were both delicious and nutritious.

The founder of Perfect Snacks, Sam Merrin, is widely known for his innovative approach to creating healthy snacks. He was motivated by his own struggles with health issues and wanted to offer alternatives to the unhealthy snacks that were commonly available. Sam’s background in nutrition and his passion for creating wholesome products led him to develop the original Perfect Bar, which quickly gained recognition in the health food community. The success of Perfect Snacks can be attributed to the Merrin brothers’ commitment to using high-quality ingredients and their dedication to providing snacks that are perfect for any time of day. Their brand has since expanded to include a range of bars, bites, cups, and other snacks, all of which are crafted with the same dedication to taste and nutrition.

Perfect Snacks Mondelez and Allegations of Israel Support

Perfect Snacks, a brand under the Mondelez company, has come under scrutiny for its association with Israel and its involvement in the occupation of Palestinian territories. This suspicion has arisen due to Mondelez’s investment in Torr FoodTech, an Israeli-based company. Although the terms of the deal were not disclosed, Mondelez made the investment through SnackFutures, an Israeli food-tech incubator. This move by Perfect Snacks raises questions about their support for the Israeli government’s actions and their contribution to the economic development of Israel, which in turn strengthens the occupation of Palestinian lands. The Israeli FoodTech sector is renowned for being a thriving innovation ecosystem, and Perfect Snacks’ collaboration with SnackFutures and Mondelez International gives them unparalleled access and visibility in this industry. This association further deepens concerns about the brand’s ties to Israel and its questionable practices in the Palestinian territories.

  2. This is the WORST company in Chicago. You have no way to call the company, HR don’t answer their personal phones, HR call center have no way of communicating with them. They literally give you your check when THEY want to. Nobody helps, or answer questions. They pass the paton ! If you’re like me and you’re use to a GREAT company with great communication skills that give you solutions this place is not for you. This place is for slaves of all colors! That settles for the bare minimum. It’s been weeks and they’ve yet to resolved my payout. They send you to voicemail, avoid you and make things sound good. Save yourself the trouble and don’t work here. I even called to QUIT, but guess what? You can’t call because the phone is disconnected. The company from the headquarters down to the workers have a really bad communication gap and they’re fine with it. I literally quit the first week , if I could give them 0 stars I would. & Ps don’t eat these snacks people have on no gloves , scratching their hand and will touch your cookies. I’ve seen it with my own eyes, unfortunately.
