2 weeks agoI’ve given so many negative Customer Service Surveys about the filthy conditions and gross disorganization of this store. Aside from the escalators constantly being inactive for weeks, shelf tags and produce codes are often incorrect at the registers. I’ve had to take photos of the displays to show the cashiers at checkout just be charged correctly. This is a nightmare for customers using self-checkout. A good example would be these White Onions, which are clearly marked at $1.29, but rang up at $2.19. I let it go a few times, but last week, I finally spoke to the Customer Service people about it. They just refunded the difference, but no one bothered to update the price in the system. If it weren’t for the fact of it being a 10-minute walk from my apartment, I would never shop there.a week agoWide variety of items it’s like one stop solution for all your needs. Food, clothing, electronics you don’t need to shop anywhere else after visiting this amazing establishment. Only thing missing is some amazing Swedish meatballs (joking of course)3 weeks agoI ordered something something from one Target for pickup. After the order, they said it was sold out. I did that two more times with other targets in the area. Exactly the same!I think they have lost their credibility in New York. Don’t even bother.
a month agoThis is the worst target that I have ever shopped in and I believe that its because the majority of the customers are people of colour/black. They treat people of colour with disrespect at this location. This evening on the pickup line the Caucasian associate left the customers on the line for 30 minutes while she went to the third floor to check if an item was available for a customer. The line was so long, it was close to the elevator. She could at least apologized and asked for another associate to assist with the pickups while she went to the third floor to see if the item was available. Then when she finally arrived back to the first floor, instead of helping the customers who have been waiting on the line for 30 minutes, she turns and assist another customer who just showed up. This is total disrespect. I’m planning to cancel my target card. It’s just not worth it with this kind of treatment. People should be respected no matter what race colour or creed they are.2 weeks agoLove this place! I typically find all that I’m looking for, and with great discounts as well. Go in with a game plan to avoid long lines and you’ll be fine!!

a month agoThis location needs more workers. When you ask for help everyone so quick to say I’m not a manager or I don’t know it gets frustrating. They had two register opened self check out line was half way towards the back. I use to love this location but customer service has definitely went down.a week agoTarget over by the Hutchinson Parkway employee would not help with price matching. Obviously employee doesn’t know company policy and shouldn’t be working for the company is can’t follow simple rules you shouldn’t be walking around moping around when this is your job to help customers so check out she was truly annoyed because she had to bounce from customer to customer, you can see it all in her face. It must’ve not been her day, but today is my day because today I will be a Karen and do all the complaining I want. I never had this problem with any other employee on a regular line. This worker needs to research company policy.6 months agoIt is located in a convenient area with other stores in the mall. The staff is friendly and the prices are amazingly the lowest. With a lot of restaurants in the mall you can have a meal before or after the shopping to make your day double joyous6 months agoParking is never an issue. I went to Target to pick up an order that my brother placed online. This was the last day (12/18/22) that the order could be retrieved. However, the sales associate, Sherik, could not locate the item. There were a few other complications that I would omit that had nothing to do with the staff. In the end, I waited just over an hour to walk out with one item… my brother ordered three. I want to thank Sherik for his tireless efforts to assist me with my mission. The take away is this: don’t wait until the last day to pick up your online order as the item may be returned to floor inventory, as was the case here.
You can’t take your groceries beyond this point. Good luck carrying your food to the Uber. Target treats its customers very poorly. The experience ends as soon as you’ve paid. No warning by the store when you’re walking in.
When that Target first opened over 10 year’s ago the employee’s were not so snotty. So downright rude. Now Target really does not know how to hire people who are appropriate, & know that the customer is always right. Two women who work there are great. One who I have seen many times. Helped more then once in the medical/medicine area. Also helped me when she was in charge of the self check out area. The other one was a Supervisor who helped me during a situation I had when checking out. They both were very kind, helpful, & respectful the whole time. The Assistant Manager was way more then snotty. A male in his 40’s with the nastiest attitude ever. Who hires people like that to be one of the main people in charge? I am moving out of New York City because I am tired of how rude a lot of people here are. Way Upstate, NY people know how to act properly.
Can I just say the associate at registers Brenda today was super nice and friendly, she helped me price match all my items. She was super nice and very patient. She should get the recognition she deserves.
This Target is located on 225st across the street from Marble Hill projects in the Riverdale section of the Bronx. I use to really enjoy shopping here but with inflation, prices are very high here. This location unfortunately lacks inventory that you may see at other Target locations. It is very hard to get help from employees, and most of the time you see them standing around talking to each other, not doing much of anything. Also, if you use the Target app and you see a product you’re looking for in stock on the app, don’t expect for it to be really in this store. I’ve unfortunately had it happen to me several times.. Overall this location is not one of Target’s best.
